18 Timeskip and preparation
[Timeskip: one month]
In a darkly lit room you could see a figure with a bounty poster in its hands, smoking a cigar. This is none other than Crocodile, one of the seven Warlords of the Sea who is very invested in the person on the bounty poster.
[Crocodile pov:]
So it finally happened, Luffy started his journey. I wonder what he did this time to get a bounty of 30.000.000 Berry.
By now he should have already recruited Zoro and Usopp if I'm not mistaken. I wonder what navigator he got for his crew since Nami is with me now.
Nami... she made a lot of progress this past month. When I first gave her the fruit I expected her to laze around, but to my surprise she began training harder than ever before, when I asked her why was that, she said that Enel was much stronger than her but I was able to quickly defeat him, who's to say the same won't happen to me.
Needless to say I was very happy with how her character was growing. I don't know if it was because of her fruit or because of her new training but she started to look more and more like her version after the two years timeskip, not that I'm complaining.
She started wearing gold bracelets on her arms and feet, also a golden necklace. I can see why she did this as she is now capable of controlling gold to some degree. She also started spending more time with me for some reason.
She came a long way with her devil fruit in such a short period of time. I gave her some inspiration from a certain hot-headed, brown haired tsundere and from Luck Voltia. Now besides the usual lighting from the sky, she also throws golden projectiles imbued with haki, since she can't imbue her own lighting with armament haki. But I believe she will reach that level eventually. She developed this in order to deal with logia users.
Another technique she developed was her lighting armor, if you could call it that since it covers only her bust and legs, leaving her abdomen and head completely exposed. With this armor she is able to reach insane speeds, only very good haki users are able to keep up with her.
Besides her, Rob Lucci also made progress both in haki and with his devil fruit. Every attack became even deadlier with the use of armament haki.
Mr.1 also managed to imbue his blades/arms with armament haki giving him a lot more power.
As for me, nothing happened, I managed to increase my mastery over seastone sand and my mastery over glass.
One thing I was surprized for was when I was able to come in contact with The Surgeon of Death.
Of course I didn't state my plan right away, but we promised to meet each other at Sabaody Archipelago, three months from now. This should also be the same time Luffy and the Straw Hats arrive there.
[Robin pov:]
These last couple of months have been rather strange, Crocodile suddenly knew where Skypiea was but I guess that's to be expected since he sailed in the New World, he must've found some information about Skypiea there.
I don't know how, but he can control seastone now, something that should be impossible to even touch for a devil fruit user.
Another thing that shocked me was when he gave Nami, our navigator, the goro goro no mi. This devil fruit was once stated to be the strongest fruit among the Logia types. I don't know what goes inside his heads.
He mentioned a war, but I wasn't able to find any of the sorts.
[Crocodile pov:]
Three months, in three months I will hopefully meet Bonney at Sabaody Archipelago and convince her to join my crew, this is no easy task, after all she is the daughter of Kuma, another Warlord, and current undercover agents for the Revolutionary Army.
I will have to wait until Luffy hits the Celestial Dragon and then offer her protection against the Admiral that will come, I see no other way of making her join me.
[Anyway let's not think about that for the time being, I need to train and get stronger in these three months. I thought about something, but I don't know if its worth it. If I fo manage to recruit Bonney, should I make her return Whitebeard to his glory days?]
I should worry about that if I manage to recruit her. Hmmm... my casinos are doing pretty well, and with the blueprints of the revolver I wanted to give Nami first, on the black market I have yet another source of income. Of course this isn't the same model, a slightly downgrade version if you will.
