Bai Ye knew about this ability. He was no stranger to it. Because he was familiar with it, Bai Ye understood what kind of power it was. Its effect was similar to some Devil Fruit abilities in the One Piece World, which followed the "law of cause and effect."

However, compared to Devil Fruits, the Magic Eye of Death was far superior. This power allowed one to see the "death" of things. The abstract concept of "death" appeared as visual information.

In the eyes of someone with the Magic Eye of Death, criss-cross lines like graffiti and dots forming these lines would appear on the surface of things. The lines represented "places where an object is easy to cut or destroy," and the dots represented "the death of almost everything." 

Cutting along the lines would cause a wound that couldn't be defended against or healed. If one punctured the "point" on an object, it would be permanently and irreversibly destroyed. Even psychic powers, superpowers, magic, and conceptual beings could be cut and killed.

In simple terms, the Magic Eye of Death provided a vision that saw the end and brought it to the present moment. It also saw the beginning and brought it to the present. 

"There is no living thing that it can't kill, even a god," one could say. This was the terror of the Magic Eye of Death.

"Do you choose to integrate this into the first template?" a voice asked.

"Fusion," Bai Ye nodded.

Then, Bai Ye felt a strange sensation in his eyes. It came quickly and disappeared just as fast. Soon after, Bai Ye discovered a new ability in his attributes: "Mystic Eyes of Death Perception."

Unlike the normal burden on the mind that came with using the 'Demon Eye of Immediate Death,' Bai Ye's version, under the fusion effect of different worlds, used his Shinigami spiritual power. This meant that as long as Bai Ye's Reiatsu wasn't exhausted, the eye could keep functioning.

Thinking about this, Bai Ye focused his Reiatsu into his eyes. In the next second, he looked at the streets near Konoha once more. The world that came into view had changed completely.

The street is still the street, and the sky is still the sky. However, Bai Ye now sees it differently. He can clearly see dark purple lines crisscrossing the surfaces of objects. At the intersections of these lines, Reiatsu converges continually, revealing 'dead spots.'

"This is... the Mystic Eyes of Death Perception?" Bai Ye wondered as he drew out Ryūjin Jakka. In the reflection of the blade, he noticed that his eyes had changed. The edges had turned a bright azure blue, and the dark purple pupils were filled with stars, exuding an indescribable sense of soul-stirring power.

There was no doubt about it. These were the same 'God-killing Eyes' of myth!

"It looks like I struck gold by choosing number two," Bai Ye thought. His heart swelled with excitement as he looked at his newfound eyes, which were leagues ahead of Sharingan or Byakugan in power.

However, he quickly calmed himself. The second template had granted him this ability randomly. He understood that he could have ended up with nothing at all. Now equipped with the 'Mystic Eyes of Death Perception,' Bai Ye could afford to wait before acquiring the abilities of the Rinnegan.

Bai Ye knew the basic Rinnegan was not his ultimate goal. He recalled that above the Rinnegan were the normal Rinnegan and the Rinne-Sharingan, capable of casting Infinite Tsukuyomi and altering reality itself. Then there was the Tenseigan, which controlled the moon and embodied both creation and destruction.
