Chapter 241

Kizaru stared at Josh. Their scheme to take two with the price of one had gone completely wrong. The Fleet Admiral was killed. Aokiji was cut and turned into ashes. Garp is in an unknown state, and some of their Vice Admirals were burned into ashes like that.

The world will go into complete chaos once this battle is over.

Kizaru knew that he couldn't let everyone's death go in vain.

As he closed his eyes, Kizaru's body started glowing up. Josh, who was in front of him, was surely blinded by the strong flash that covered the whole area. Kizaru appeared in the sky.

"In my awakened form, I can choose whatever type of light I can turn into, and the speed that follows after."

Josh lifted his head. The Logia user was there, surely. Waving his sword, Josh sent a gigantic sword arc while excepting the latter to turn into a light beam.

But Kizaru didn't. He vanished in thin air.

"Like I said. Not a light beam this time." Kizaru said as he appeared next to Josh, his foot next to his head. Josh lifted his fist, parrying the attack. A strong shockwave spread.

"Now die." Josh tried to hold his leg, but Kizaru just vanished into thin air. It didn't feel like a result of the speed. But it's like he vanished like he became a ghost, followed by a strong blinding flash. Usually, Kizaru turned into a light beam, a heavy type of light that you can see moving, but this time, he wasn't.

"Gambler San. Did you know why didn't I attack you earlier?" Kizaru said.

Josh flapped his wings. "Because it was so scary for you to approach."

Kizaru sneered. "I was controlling a stronger form of light while directing it toward you." He then waved his hand. The clouds above him were cut in half, revealing the shiny sun.

"Look well," Kizaru said.

There was another sun.

Josh almost didn't believe his eyes. Two suns in the morning.

"You are only seeing the flash of the light orb I summoned," Kizaru smirked as he pointed his finger at Josh. "Now, I'll use it as my weapon."

"You fucking fool! Do you know how large the sun is for you to summon a portion of it!" Josh scolded as he clenched his teeth.

"I know very well!" Kizaru said. The sky's colour was replaced by a strong white shine. "I'm in control of it."

Down, everything turned white. There was no shadow. As for the heat, it was way hotter than the sun.

Kizaru flicked his finger. From the white sky, a gigantic light beam headed down toward Josh, who had already seen the future and dodged to the side with a blinding speed.

*Boom*

Josh found himself flying from the strength of the beam. As he looked down, he could see a very large whole.

"You know nothing about nuclear radiation, don't you."

"What?"

"And here I didn't want to use this." Josh opened his hand.

"Ho!" Kizaru raised his eyebrows as he saw an orb appearing.

"I'll just have to reverse time, and kill you as just as you vanish," Josh said as he looked at his hand.

[+ The Pearl of Time (Legend)]

(Host can use it to rewind time from one minute to 20 minutes. Note: Must be used very carefully. Only usable once)

(A/N: it was mentioned in chapter 126)

He had never thought that he would use this item since it was rare to get. Even when he had used Future Vision to get it, he didn't. But he can't feel sorry for using it. Not when he has Baccarat's absurd luck that can help him win something better. Now, Josh felt that he has to fix the damage done by Kizaru, who summoned a part of the sun, which is covering the sky, and now, this territory is full of killing radiations.

"Hah?" Kizaru didn't believe his ears. Quickly, he flicked his fingers, and a very large beam, which was invisible, headed toward Josh. The beam was so hot that it would vaporise him.

Josh let a sigh and crushed the Pearl of Time.

50 seconds, exactly back in time.

Josh found himself waving his sword at Kizaru's body, which vanished into thin air.

It was the exact moment that Kizaru would teleport into the sky with the speed of light.

Josh decided it was the best time to surprise him.

More More x 225 speed.

Josh's speed was already absurd, without the boost of his Devil Fruit. He can cross almost 5km in one second after all the boosts he had gotten. Meaning his speed is 18.000 km in a second. (That's his speed which he uses while moving in short-range while using Shave.)

Increase that by 2250 times, and you'll have a speed that surpasses the lighting speed.

For Kizaru, who is way faster, his senses aren't adapted to his speed.

But Josh is different.

Just as Kizaru appeared in the sky and below the clouds, he looked for a trace for Josh to mock him before his final attack.

But Josh was nowhere.

"Looking for me." Kizaru felt a touch on his shoulder. Dark fog surrounded him from every direction, taking his Devil Fruit power away.

Josh tightened his grip on his shoulder.

"No Way!"

"I cancelled your Devil Fruit. You can't use your power." Josh replied to the shocked Kizaru.

Kizaru clenched his fist, turning into black ink. He turned and decided to make his last attack.

Alas. Josh wasn't in the mood for mercy.

He reached his back, took the Great Devil Sword, and slashed down, cutting Kizaru in half, before his body fell to the sea.

Josh flipped as he headed toward the destroyed island, landing on his feet, before turning into a human, again.

He swept his hair back, looking at the remains of the navy that were escaping.

"Two birds in one day. But a fucking long day." Josh said as he sat down, before lying on his back. He looked at his finger as if there was a ring there that contained a sliver of Pure Gold.

"Josh! What will we do to the marines!" Pride asked as he saw Josh lying down.

Josh looked up. He almost forgot about his demons.

"I was going to spare them, but thinking again. If I let them escape…" Josh said.

Wrath continued in his stead. "Everyone will think that you are a pushover and they will try their luck with you."

"Bingo!" Josh winked at Wrath. "So, they are yours, boys. Destroy their ships, and let the lucky ones swim back. I'll take a small nap for a while. And then, tomorrow, I'll get stronger."
