Luffy stood infront of crocus as crocus stared at him with a neutral face.

"So let me get this straight you want to take laboon with you to the grandline."said crocus.

"Yeah that's about right."replied luffy."And how exactly do you plan to fit him through the grandline?"asked crocus.

"I'll just have kumi shrink him down to a smaller size."replied luffy.

Kumi then jumped up on luffy's shoulder."Oh does he perhaps have the shrink,shrink fruit?"asked crocus.

"Yeah kinda of he possesses the size size fruit meaning he can control the size of anything."said luffy.

"That's a really powerful devilfruit one you'd expect to be in the new world but to see it's user being a monkey much less one from the east blue is quite shocking?"said crocus.

"So why do you want laboon anyway?"asked crocus."He seems to be lonely and he keeps slamming his head against the redline."replied luffy.

"That doesn't quit answer my question."said crocus."I guess your right the real reason is I can sense he is yearning to meet someone again so I want to help him find them."said luffy.

Crocus sat down as he looked at luffy with a sad face."You know it's been over fifty years since laboon was left with me and the pirates who left him here since he was a baby never came back."said crocus.

"The probably have already all died who knows but if they were alive I know they wouldn't abandon him."said crocus.

"So is that why he keeps slamming his head against the red line trying to meet his friends again."asked hatchan.

"Unfortunately yes he misses them dearly so he slams his head against the red line hoping to get through it but all it's left him with is more scars."replied crocus.

"That's why I turned his body mechanical to an extent so he wouldn't kill himself from slamming his head into the recline."said crocus.

"The people he traveled with may be dead or maybe they aren't but he deserves to be able to see them again."said luffy.

Laboon then lifted up his head as his giant eyes looked at luffy a tear rushing down from his face.

Luffy placed his hand on laboons head as his hand glowed bright blue as the scars on laboons head started to disappear.

"You were in alot of pain weren't you it's okay now you don't have to feel sad."said luffy

Laboon then spat out a giant wave of water towards liff soaking luffy's close as laboon dived back into the sea happily.

"It's been years since I have seen laboon this happy maybe I can trust you all to take care of him aftterall."said crocus.

"I just have one more question for you."said crocus."Yeah what is it?"asked luffy.

"I just wanted to know where you got that straw hat afterall someone I knew had one very similar?"asked crocus.

"Are you talking about shanks Yeah he gave me the hat when I was still a kid."replied luffy.

"Wait shanks gave that hat to you I guess he's passing on the torch same way Roger did."said crocus as he walked away.

"You all cab take laboon on your journey with you I'm sure his friends would have wanted you too."said crocus.

"Wait what did he mean when he said Roger passed on the torch?"asked coby.

"He means the straw hat shanks gave me all those years ago once belonged to gold.d Roger."replied luffy.
