26 Have Arrived

"See, those commoners dare to look down on Marines" (Akainu)

"Shut up Akainu. Tomorrow when you leave, don't make trouble" (Sengoku)

"Tch" (Akainu)

"Alright, let's end it now. We have to prepare for tomorrow" (Sengoku)

Paradise, Dungeon Island.

The next day after Gion's arrival, the Guild was bustling. All the adventurers gathered in the cafeteria for breakfast before taking on the Quest.

Most of the current Adventurers were new to Amazon Lily. They arrived this afternoon, replacing Dan and the others.

The registration process took place quickly so they could immediately enter the Dungeon, but had not taken the Quest because it was almost night.

And right now, they were eating happily in the cafeteria. Hancock and her 2 sisters are still here to level up.

They sat down with Asuna, Kaori and Saeko to talk about various things they liked.

Meanwhile Arata sat with Reyleigh at the table next to them so he could hear what they were saying.

"Yesterday I told you that there are Marines coming right? They will likely arrive today at the earliest, the person coming is probably your old friend" (Arata)

"Old friend huh... Garp or Sengoku, Tsuru can come too" (Reyleigh)

"Who else if not them, with them knowing about this place I'm sure they will make a place here to catch any incoming pirates, maybe you too?" Nada Arata joked in the last sentence.

Reyleigh just chuckled at this. He had long since retired from being a pirate, but the accomplishments he made as the Pirate King's Right Hand were no small feat.

Previously while living in Sabaody, Reyleigh moved not as Silvers Reyleigh, but as a ship coating known as Rey.

Although there are rumors that Silvers Reyleigh is in Sabaody, no action has been taken by the Marines yet.

And now, Reyleigh and the Marines would most likely meet up at this place. Maybe there will be a battle but it depends on the response that Arata gives later.

"Even if they wanted to, you would at least take action right?" Reyleigh said casually knowing this already

"As long as you're an Adventurer who's officially registered here and don't break the rules I'll take action. But if you leave the island, it's your responsibility" (Arata)

Arata looked around and found Hancock, Sonia and Mari heard his words. Arata only looked at them briefly and then turned back to Reyleigh.

"I also know that there is a loophole in this matter, and in the future many pirates will take advantage of it. That's why there is a place called the Colosseum inside.

If you have a problem with the other side, just have a duel there. And there is also an agreement related to duels, where if both persons agree, they must follow the agreed agreement no matter what.

If they refuse, they will get excruciating pain that will make them unconscious" (Arata)

"It's quite helpful too, in the future there might be a case where the Marines will duel the pirates who come. Then what happens if the person who is challenged by the duel refuses?" (Reyleigh)

"Nothing will happen, the challenged party has the right to refuse. However, there will be a Forced Duel System. Where Adventurers can force opponents to duel and cannot be refused, but this system can only be used once every 3 days" (Arata)

"I see, the Marines can still do their job here. Then, the agreement will still apply outside the Dungeon right?" (Reyleigh)

"That's right, those concerned must do what was promised no matter what. But agreements must also have equal value, I'm sure you understand" (Arata)

Reyleigh nodded and thought about all the possibilities that could happen in the future.

He might as well be forced into a duel, which was why he was thinking related matters.

For example the Marines were the most likely to force a duel against him, Reyleigh could have kept them from chasing him forever but what would happen if he lost was also quite heavy.

The possibility is being locked up and imprisoned in Impel Down, or even public execution.

The duels were conducted according to strength standards back in the Dungeon, so he who had started earlier had the advantage.

But, Shanks will also come in a few days. If the Marines came first, they could level up first and then have a forced duel against Shanks.

'I'll tell Shanks later'

Arata then turned to Hancock to ask about the things that had just been discussed with Reyleigh because Hancock heard it.

Arata is quite curious about Hancock's response regarding the Marines and this forced duel.

"What do you three think?" (Arata)

"Hmph, none of my business. As Sichibukai, as long as our side doesn't violate their rules, we'll be let off the hook.

Also if anyone dares to challenge me to a duel, I will destroy them! Since I am one of the first Adventurers here, the advantage is on my side" (Hancock)

As Arata expected, Hancock said things as arrogant as usual. But there's no denying that what he said was true.

"Glad to hear that" (Arata)

After quietly finishing breakfast, they continued to the Dungeon to take the Quest.

Meanwhile Arata and the others waited quietly at the reception counter to confirm acceptance of the Quest.

And like that continued until finally the Marines came to this Dungeon Island.

=====

"So this is the place?! It's like a normal island if you don't know what's in here" Momonga said upon arriving at the Island Dungeon.

As planned, only 10 people would go to the Guild, but on the warship they were on there were still a few Marines of lower rank.

They were assigned to take care of the ship while Sengoku and the others went to the Guild. They are also quite curious about what made Fleet Admiral come to this place.

But they knew that the information regarding this matter was confidential, so they could only keep their mouths shut.

"Sengoku, let's quickly go to that Guild. I want to quickly fight monsters" Garp was excited as far as Sengoku and the others could see.

They knew that it had been a long time since Garp had fought seriously. By entering the Dungeon at a time when his powers were set like normal people, the monsters in the Dungeon would become a challenge to Garp.

They didn't speak further, heading straight to the Guild. Along the way, the scenery looked like an ordinary forest, with various trees and plants but no animals or insects.

After almost reaching the center of the island, they saw 2 portals and a building with 2 floors in front of them.

Garp couldn't wait anymore, rushed towards the Guild. Previously Garp was told not to touch Portals before becoming an Adventurer so nothing untoward would happen.

When Garp was about to open the door, the entrance automatically opened and showed a man and 3 women inside.

It could be said that the boy was quite handsome and the 3 women were extremely beautiful.

Standing for a while at the entrance, Garp was finally joined by Sengoku and the others. They also finally got a first-hand look at the inside of the Guild.

Arata who saw the top Marines opened his mouth and said...

"Welcome to the Adventurer's Guild"

I know that such a system isn't the best but I made Arata as the Guildmaster be neutral towards Adventurers
