Luffy vs Doflamingo

Doflamingo dragged himself through the skies. It was more conspicuous than sneaking from alley to alley, but he couldn't afford any more delays like Ace.

*whiSTLE*

Doflamingo twirling, causing a flaming projectile to narrowly miss him as it whistled past him. Upon closer inspection, the projectile was… a flaming pinecone.

*POP*

The pinecone exploded, sending flaming shrapnel flying it every direction. Some of it hit Doflamingo as well, but didn't do much damage to him. However, had he been closer to the pinecone, that might have wounded him enough to take seriously.

*whiSTLE* *whiSTLE* *whiSTLE*

*POP* *POP* *POP*

There were more where the first pinecone came from. Doflamingo could dodge them with ease, but every dodge was followed by a peppering of hot pinecone scales.

Doflamingo used the trajectory to track down his assailant. His menacing gaze caught a brief sight of some long-nosed fool ducking behind a wall.

In his anger, he altered his trajectory to kill the idiot…

"HORAAAH!!!"

…Only to find a boulder flying straight at him, flung by a giant.

Doflamingo frantically yanked himself out of the path of the rock. No matter how strong a human became, only a fool would take an attack from a giant head on. Their physical might was nothing to sneer at.

Whilst Doflamingo dodged the boulder just fine, his observation haki screamed at him. It was a moment too late, however, as a pine cone smashed directly into his face.

With a resounding POP, it exploded at point black range. If Doflamingo hadn't been wearing his custom reinforced sunglasses, his eyes would have been pierced by the pinecone scales and blinded him. As it stood, he had many cuts and burns on his face.

"I'll kill you all!" Doflamingo roared.

With a twitch of his finger, the giant lurched into action and threw an entire house at Usopp.

"EEEK!" Usopp's squeal of terror was even louder than the giant's shout.

A delicate looking arm even larger than the giant's sprouted from the ground and swatted the house away.

"Relax, Longnose-kun. I am here with you." Robin spoke reassuringly, bolstering Usopp's confidence.

"Radical BEAM!" Franky's nipple lasers flashed at Doflamingo, forcing him to dodge again.

These ants grouping up together to face him was royally pissing Doflamingo off. So much so, that an important detail had momentarily slipped his mind.

*boing*

*Boing!*

*BOING!!!*

*BLAM!!!!!*

Doflamingo felt like he just got hit by a second boulder, only he knew the giant was currently not a threat to him so that wasn't the cause.

*boinboinBOING!!!*

Doflamingo saw it coming this time and raised his arms to block. A large, black fist collided with him and sent him careening into the ground with a crash.

Luffy landed next to the resulting crater with another boing. He was barely recognisable, looking more like a barrel chested gorilla who skipped leg day.

"BOUNDMAN!" Luffy announced, needing his enemy to know the name of the move that would defeat him.

*Slash*

A claymore ripped through the ground where Doflamingo's neck had been only an instant before. The hybrid Axolotl, Kyros looked disappointed but not surprised that his attack failed.

Doflamingo wasn't a man to take a beating lying down, so he quickly got to his feet.

"Tsk. You've forced my hand." Doflamingo said.

He didn't want to waste this on some small fries, not with two admirals lurking around somewhere. However, he didn't have much choice in the matter now.

A pulse of power and his will took hold of the surrounding buildings. They stretched upwards and transformed into huge masses of strings.

Like massive spears, the strings pierced towards Luffy and Kyros. Luffy bounded out of the way faster than his size would suggest.

Kyros wasn't fast enough to dodge, so he raised his sword to block. That was a terrible mistake, as the strings bypassed the sword altogether and stabbed through his chest.

"Cool Statue Guy?!" Luffy exclaimed.

On a distant hill overlooking the battle, Ex-king Riku grit his teeth. Rebecca gasped and clasped a hand over her mouth in horror. Others who knew and respected Kyros were similarly distraught.

"Fufufufufu! I should have done that a long time ago!" Doflamingo laughed maniacally.

Kyros spat up a mouthful of blood and collapsed. He felt like he was drowning due to his punctured lungs.

Doflamingo moved his strings to deal a death blow to Kyros, but he was interrupted by Luffy's charge and moved them to intercept him instead. Beneath his notice, Kyros was swapped with a cobblestone.

Well outside of the battle, Law and Cherry stood over Kyros' form. Law set to work immediately doing triage, only his focus was not saving Kyros' life. His only goal was putting things back into the correct placement, then stepped away for Cherry to move in.

Back at the battle, Luffy hammered away at a spider web shield that Doflamingo created with a shout "KONG GATLING!"

The web of string was taking a real beating, but in the end it fell beneath the onslaught. Unfortunately, the web still lasted more than long enough for Doflamingo to reposition himself away from danger.

Still, Doflamingo was sweating this a lot more than he anticipated. The goofy appearance Luffy had had given him a false sense of security and now he was paying for it. His years of experience told him that this couldn't be kept up for long, though; it had to have a large impact on his body. So he would survive until he's vulnerable, then kill him in one fell swoop.

"More power…" Luffy muttered, but his words still reached Doflamingo's ears.

"That's right, foolish boy! You're not strong enough!" Doflamingo bluffed.

Luffy bit his arm and blew his arm up to epic proportions. "KING KONG-!"

"Ah, fuck…" Doflamingo tried to get the hell out of dodge, throwing up three webs between himself and Luffy even though that sapped a lot of his stamina.

"-GUN!!!" Luffy pressed his fist forward with all his might.

The King Kong Gun shattered the first, then the second, and finally stopped at the third web barrier. Luffy was breathing heavily now, he could only maintain Gear 4th for so long and the more he exerted himself the shorter that would be.

Doflamingo pulled together all the string that he could handle, coating it with the densest Armament Haki he could produce; then he sent it all stabbing towards the panting Luffy. "God Thread!"

"Speed and power…" Luffy abandoned all reason. This next stunt was liable to cripple his arms from the strain alone, but he trusted that Law and Cherry could fix him up good as new.

He cocked his arms, folding them in on themselves like his regular kong gun; but then they began to twist faster and faster, pushing their limits far beyond what he's ever tried to twist them before. The skin of his arms started to break and bleed from the combined pressure of the twist and his Gear 4th form.

The God Threads were upon him and he has neither dodged nor prepared to block them.

"KONG FIRING SQUAD!" Luffy shouted and met the God Threads with his own technique that combined both the quantity of his gatling attacks and the quality of his rifle attacks.

Each of the sixteen hyper dense string spears was individually obliterated, and Luffy didn't stop there. Doflamingo hastily threw up more shields, even using Off White to create great masses of string to get in the way. All were torn asunder.

When the last of his defenses fell, Doflamingo's life flashed before his eyes just before they tore him apart as well. Luffy's destructive barrage ended only when his arms would no longer move. At the same time, Gear 4th came to an end as his stamina could no longer support it.

Luffy heaved great breaths, unable to even scream in pain from his mangled arms.

"FUFUFUFUFU!" Doflamingo laughed.
