Jode's Ruthlessness And Intelligence!!!

Cramped! That's the word that described how Jade felt when he opened his eyes and saw nothing but the wooden sides of a container all around him. He had no idea how he got there, but it wasn't something that surprused him too much. The last thing he remembered was running into a group of 5 gang members before everything went dark. He figured that one of them must've said the magic word and forced his counterpart, Jode, to come out.

Whenever that particular personality took over, Jade felt as if he was entering a state akin to sleep, fading into the background. He never knew what happened while this personality took over or when he would come back, so he learned to accept it and whatever situation he found himself in after returning.

"God damn it Jode, what the hell did you do now?" Jade asked as he pressed the palms of his hands against the top of the wooden container. "Its bad enough that you exist, but you also gotta go out of your way to make my life more difficult."

He pushed with all of his strength and the top came off pretty easily, a bit too easily in fact as the top flew and slammed into something. What he saw when stood up though confused him, 2 scruffy looking adults in strange clothes. There was a third one but he was lying on the floor, appearing as if he was asleep.

Jade blinked, unsure of what to think as the two strangers stared at him. One was rather tall with blonde hair while the other was marginally shorter with brown hair and a snake shaped tattoo on his right shouler. What really drew his attention however were the swords strapped to their waists.

"Who are you guys? And whats with the swords?" Jade asked as he hoisted himself out of the wooden container. "You guys could cut yourselves if your not careful."

"Who are we? I think we're the one's who should be asking that question." The short one said, reaching for the hilt of his sword. "Wanna tell us why you knocked out our friend?"

Jade looked down at the chubby guy who was lying on the floor, apparently unconscious. "I didn't knock him out, but if he sleeps like that he'll catch a cold, so you should probably wake him up. Anyways, that aside, where am I....also if I offended you guys in any way before then I deeply apologize."

"Oh your gonna be sorry," The tall one said, also reaching for the hilt of his sword. "You should know better then to mess with vicious pirates such as us. We'd easily be able to kill someone as weak as you."

Jade lowered his head, his ears twitching at the sound of the word, his heart rate increasing and his breathing getting slower. He felt himself slowly losing his consciousness, everything was fading rapidly. "If you guys want to live, I would suggest not making Jode angry." With those words the world blacked out.

The two guys, swords drawn, looked at each other before bursting into laughter, clearly amused at this weakling threatening them. The shorter one took a step forward and placed the tip of his gleaming silver sword beneath the kids chin.

"What was that boy? You say something about making you angry?" The short male asked, his eyes glued to the boys face whose eyes were obscured by his black hair.

The young man stood there for a full minute, neither moving nor speaking. A small smile began to slowly spread over his face, but it wasn't one of happiness, but one that screamed of cruelty and amusement. The young man lifted his head, showing his now cold red eyes to the two pirates. However, the young man blinked and the coldness faded, leaving only a curious stare.

The short one took a step back, taken aback by the brief bloodlust that had emanated from the boy in front of him, lowering his sword slightly.

"Kill? Is that what you were saying earlier?" Jode asked, a cold laugh emanating from his lips. "Do you really think that you have what it takes to do that? Tell me, what makes you think that you'd be able to murder someone like me?"

Jode began a slow walk forward, the sharp sword pressed against the side of his neck, drawing a small line of blood as he strode forward. He stopped in front of the stunned pirate, his smile once again cruel and void of an ounce of kindness.

"I'm standing right here mr. pirate, aren't you gonna kill me?" Jode whispered into the short male's ear, causing him to shiver. "If you wont kill me then trust me.....I willl definitely kill you." After uttering these words, Jode's hands darted to the mans neck and gripped both the top of his head and the chin.

The man was too terrified to move but he still managed to utter out two words, one's that he normally would never have uttered. "Have mercy!!" He didnt know why but he got the feeling that this boy would kill him without a second thought, without so much as blinking.

"Sorry, but I don't know what that word means," Jode said with a whisper. He gave his hands a hard pull, yanking them in opposite directions from each other. The sound of the mans neck snapping resounded out through the small room which was followed by the thud of the man's body.

The room was silent as the eyes of the tall pirate standing by the door with sword in hand flickered between the now dead body of his comrade to the young boy, who was looking at his hands with a large smile. Then, without so much as a warning, the tall man turned around and darted out the door, leaving behind his unconscious friend.

Jode looked up, his eyes a cool red with a sort of cruel intelligence emanating from them. "Coward, I thought you were a pirate.....arent they supposed to be cold blooded and have nerves of steel? That wasnt even fun!!! As for you kid, I know your hiding behind the barrel, your fear is almost tangible!!"

Jode turned around as a crashing sound echoed through the room and a small kid with pink hair, glasses, and an overall timid look appeared from behind the barrel. The kid backed up real quick to the wall of the room as he stared at Jode with wide eyes akin to a frightened rabbit.

"Relax kid," Jode said with a calm smile that held amusement. "I'm not gonna hurt you, you just gotta answer a few questions for me." He walked forward and kneeled in front of the kid. "What's your name four eyes?"

"My names Koby," The kid said, his eyes now squeezed shut. "Please don't hurt me." He was shaking all over and there were even tears in his eyes as he raised his arms in front of him as a sort of defence.

"Calm your tits Koby," Jode said as he stood up. "You answer my questions then I guarantee you'll live for many years to come. Now, tell me about where we are, you must know that much!"

Koby slowly opened his eyes and lowered his hands, a ray of hope appearing in front of him. He had been scared that this ruthless fellow who had killed without a second thought would turn on him next, but it would seem that he had a chance at survival.

"Your on a passenger ship carrying various passengers and cargo on board." Koby explained, his voice soft and frail, afraid of offending the man in front of him. "Its currently being overrun by a group of pirates calling themselves the Alvida Pirates. Its run by a female pirate known as Iron Club Alvida, a lady whose as terrifying as she is ugly."

"Pirates huh?" Jode asked as he knelt down and flipped over the dead body of the man whose neck he had snapped. He began taking off the sword attached to the mans waist, not caring about being rough with the body. "Seems a bit old school if you ask me, but judging by the fact that they wield swords and their clothes...I can narrow down what happened to me to a couple of theories."

"So which one are you Koby?" asked Jode as he stood up with the sword he just took from the body. "Pirate or passenger? I don't care either way, I'm just curious about how much information you have on the pirates."

"I've been their cabin boy for two whole years," Koby said as he slowly stood up. Though he was still beyond scared, he figured it'd be safe to stand up. "I know more then enough about them.....however, I never really wanted to be a pirate to begin with.....I want to be a marine."

"Blah blah blah," Jode said as he turned around to face Koby, who took a step back. "What I want to know is about the group known as the Alvida Pirates....you can inform me as we go towards the top of the ship. Let's go!!"

Jode gestured to the door with his head as he walked towards it, a small amused smile on his face. He didn't check to see if Koby was following as he was sure the dead body lying on the floor would be more then enough motivation to get him moving. Sure enough, the sound of hurried footsteps followed after him as they walked out the door.

"So tell me," Jode said, his cold red eyes staring straight ahead. "What is this pirate captain like? Is she strong enough to put up a good fight?" He was itching for a good fight, and also still in search of some more information about where he was. Finding someone who had any sort of power was usually a good start when it came to gathering information.

"No way, dont tell me your actually gonna try fighting her?" Koby yelled, but quickly clamped a hand over his mouth, afraid he had gone too far.

Jode however simply nodded as they walked up a couple of stairs before reaching a hatch that apparently lead straight up to the deck. "You may not know this but when it comes to gathering intelligence, its always best to seek out the foe with the most influence or power as they usually have the most information.....unless their idiots."

Placing a palm against the bottom of the hatch, Jode pressed against it, easily moving it and revealing a bright blue sky. "All I have to do to find out where I am is a bit of killing, a simple process that shouldn't be a problem."

-----------''---------

//I wanted to see the reaction of everyone else....Jode has no problem killing and there will be a LOT more scenes with him committing similar acts!! I need to see if people are okay with it....

Jode isn't a purely evil person, though he is portrayed that way in this scene. He's actually super intelligent (probably smarter then shikamaru) and can pick up on the emotion of others. He felt their bloodlust and decided to kill them purely because he wanted to. While this may sound ruthless (because it is) he will also show signs of caring for others later on in the story

This isn't the full chapter, but I wanted everyone to know that there will be death and Jode will be the one delivering it without even a BIT of hesitation or remorse....let me know what you think in the comments section below
