Luffy and Alvida were running side by side.

"Faster, Alvida! If my theory is true, then that egg should hatch if we run long enough!"

"That's no problem, Luffy. I can run for the whole week!"

Luffy wasn't sure if an egg worked like in the Pokemon Game. In the game, you had to walk a long distance until the egg would hatch, maybe it was the same for the One Piece World. Luffy and Alvida decided to test it out and combined the hatching plan with their usual training.

Suddenly they stopped because a hurricane appeared out of nowhere. After that, a figure appeared in front of them. She was Nami, and if you judged her mood with the terrible hurricane that appeared, then the navigator was angry at this moment.

"Luffy, we don't have time for your training! We have to depart for Yuba. Come with me."

After that, a strong current of wind appeared and Luffy and Alvida started to fly away. When the wind finally stopped, they were on the Merry.

"That damn Wind Logia. How dare you, Nami! That was an unpleasant way to bring your captain on his ship..."

The crew was already waiting for Luffy. Even Smoker, Tashigi and Ace were waiting for him on the Merry.

Vivi sent her duck away to inform her father about her return and the plan of Barque Works. They set sail for the green city Elumalu.

"Luffy, who is this guy?", Usopp asked and pointed at Ace.

"Oh, he is my brother."

The crew was shocked. Ain looked towards the tattoo on Ace back and frowned.

"Well guys, let me explain you our next plan.", Luffy smiled. "I already told you that, but on Alabasta, I won't take part in any fights. This little Crocodile isn't worthy for me to take action, so you will lead the mission."

"LUFFY!", Vivi screamed. "How can you underestimate him! This is not a joke, this will decide the destiny of my country!"

"Don't worry, Vivi. My buddy Gible will take care of Crocodile."

Gible walked towards Vivi with a proud face. After that, he stumbled and rolled on the ground like a bowling ball.

Vivi was not convinced.

"Nami will not fight on this island, her power is too strong. It would be too easy for her to kill this little organization. Ain, Hina, and Nojiko will take a supporting role, every one of them has a task assigned to them, so they won't take part in the fight. Robin can't take part in this, too. It would be cruel for her to kill her previous crew"

He looked towards his remaining crew members.

"Zoro, Sanji, Baccarat, Usopp, and maybe Alvida. You will be the main fighters in this mission. Gible will take care of Crocodile alone, so you will defeat his strongest followers. Alvida will only interfere if you screw things up. Of course, I will give you some support. A little group of Pokemon will be at your side for this mission."

Vivi was freaking out.

"Only five people? You will defeat Baroque Works with those five?"

She couldn't understand why Luffy was so unreasonable. But Luffy wanted his crew to improve, and for that, he had to make it more difficult for them. If he would send out Nami and Ain, then this mission would end too quickly and no one had to fight for his life.

"Vivi, don't underestimate them. I've trained them with secrets from the New World, if they can't take care of some pirates at the beginning of Paradise, then that would be an embarrassment", he looked at her with a stern look and Vivi was quiet. She knew that he wouldn't change his opinion about that.

"Alright, for everyone who takes action on this island, I've made a special uniform and mask for you. Nobody should see us, in the end, we are fighting a Warlord, and they are allied with the World Government."

Smoker couldn't understand why Luffy was attacking a Warlord. He thought that Garp's grandson was becoming more and more like a pirate. Why would he attack the Warlord? He was a hero on this island.

"Smokie, Tashigi. You have to see for yourself why we are defeating Crocodile. You will understand when you learn more about this kingdom."

Both of them nodded.

"Alright, everyone has something to do. Can I go now? Why do I even ask, I'm the boss on this ship! See you later, friends!"

After that, he ran away. Alvida and Ace followed him.

"Hey, wasn't Alvida supposed to fight with us? And where are the monsters that should fight by our side?", Usopp yelled.

Their captain escaped without answering and the crew sighed. They looked at the uniform their captain left behind and couldn't help but frown. This was a strange set of clothing...

Luffy was on Alvida's back like always. After a short while, they were surrounded by strange creatures. They looked a little bit like a turtle.

"Kuooo!", one of them said.

"Kung-Fu Dugong?", Luffy asked. The group surrounded them and challenged them to a fight.

"We don't have time for you, we are trying to hatch an egg!"

After that, the group was knocked out by Alvida. They continued their journey, but after a while, they saw the strange Dugongs again.

"What are they doing?", Ace asked. "They are following us."

After they followed them for an hour, Luffy stopped and summoned Chopper. The Kung-Fu Dugong stood in front of them and kneeled.

"They want to be your students", Chopper translated. "They see you as a master and want to train under you."

"I don't have time to train a group of turtles!"

After that, they continued to run. But the Dugong's were more stubborn than his little dragon Gible, and they ran after them for the whole day. No matter how fast they were, those Dugong's would follow them.

"Beat them up!"

Alvida was cruel when she had an order from Luffy. All the Kung-Fu Dugongs were defeated.

The strange thing was that the Dugong's found the group again after some time and started to follow them. They were too stubborn and Luffy couldn't do anything against them.

He stopped again and those turtles looked towards him with puppy eyes.

"Alright, you stubborn fools. I let you follow me for now, but if you can't keep up, I will abandon you!"

The crew started their journey through the desert and it was a hard one. The desert was one of the hardest places for a human to travel. After a while, they heard strange voices and all of them looked in the direction the voices were coming from.

They couldn't believe what they were seeing.

A strange group was running in the desert. In front of the group was a chubby woman with sweat on her face, and on her back a young man they all recognized. In the sky was a bird man who had wings with vermilion feathers. He was flying above the group and laughed from time to time.

Behind that group ran a huge horde of turtle-like creatures. All of them smiled and they all sang a strange song. They ran through the dessert like madmen. Sometimes a turtle collapsed and was left behind. A strange Egg Pokemon appeared and healed that turtle, and after that it ran with the group again.

This group that consisted of a bird, humans, and turtles were so fast that they couldn't see them anymore after a couple of minutes.

The crew scratched their heads.

"What is Luffy doing all day?", Sanji asked.

"Who are those strange turtles that follow him? Why does he always find strange monsters?", Nojiko laughed.

"Those are Kung-Fu Dugong's, but what they do with Luffy... I have no clue", Vivi frowned.

"Why are they even running? Isn't there a better way to train?", Zoro was confused.

"He said something about... hatching an egg?", Baccarat smiled.

"How can he hatch that egg when he runs through a desert the whole day?"

They all decided that they wouldn't question the strange habits of their captain anymore. They knew that they would never understand what was going on in the head of this guy. They focused on their mission and tried to forget the strange scene that transpired a few minutes ago.
