Arc 2: Part 8

Kyle sat down beneath a tree. He watched four groups venturing further to explore the forest more while the rest would keep in touch. His teacher had informed the students who hadn't faced monsters yet to participate in the exploration. Kyle had not yet fought the monsters, but he wasn't on the list of those who needed this experience urgently.

"Why are you sitting here alone?" Friena approached and sat beside him.

"Just relaxing. Oh, I heard you fought a monster?" Kyle mentioned casually. He hid one bit of the truth while sitting here. He was letting out his mana string toward the depths of the forest.

Friena scoffed, "That wolf was too weak." She was dissatisfied. With a single simple swing, she killed the dread wolf.
