Chapter 98 magic proof

    I was so lost in thought when Tiana came into the living room with a tray,I had forgotten that I was supposed to meet her in the kitchen to see what I could have for semi dinner.

  My love for food is indescribable.

  "What do you have over there?"

I asked, rising up to meet her half way

"Something you will never imagine,One of my recipe though"

She replied, creasing her brows.

 I almost chuckled because of the look she has on her face. Still no matter how hard I tried not to laugh,I ended up laughing.

  "you,what is funny?”

she asked, wrinkling her face and I even laughed more

"Nothing,I ...."

I said in between laughter,I could not even bring myself to finish my statement.

"Well it just that you look funny when you do your face like that."

I said and took the tray she came with

"mtcheeew, you sure have away to laugh at little things,for your information it was not funny "

She said and wrinkled her face the more

"What's not funny?"

I asked, raising a brow

You actually want to know?

She asked me back,

"well I don't have an answer to that question,so take it like that."

I shook my head,I actually thought she has something to say and I was looking further to hearing it. Then I thought of something,why don't I use my ability of reading mind to read hers but it's unfair to invade into people's privacy. What if I try and I find what I am not supposed to know,well I am not feeding my curiosity this time around so I am blocking my mind from reading Tiana's mind.

 "Okay,forget it then. What do you have here?..You made mention of your recipe"

I said trying to uncover whatever that is on the tray

"Don't dare"

Tiana said, stopping me from opening the cups that came with the tray. I creased my brow at her. I have been doing more of brows creasing lately.

"why"

I asked

"Don't be too inquisitive"

She said and opened the tea cups.The content was browny but the fragrance was mellowing. I exhaled and inhaled on it

"What's this tea" 

I asked 

"It has no name,it's a tea I learnt to make for your way back then each time you feel restless. Its bring serenity to your soul."

She answered. Wow!She learnt to make it because of me.

"I will give you the recipe and you will try it,it refreshes the body and soul"

She said, tapping my shoulder. Its really so kind of her to give out her recipe to me,what could I have done without them.

"Okay"

I replied. I pulled the cup to my lips and drank from it. it tastes so good and about the serenity stuff,it was true. My body relaxed immediately the liquid got to my system,it was somewhat refreshing. But wait!? Is it only the tea she brought?

 Tiana are we taking only this tea?

I asked and she shook her head

"Mtcheeew...I thought maybe after a century, your love for food will reduce but rather,it gets bigger. I am microwaving the main dish"

She said and I calmed down,it seems my appetite returned after taking this browny tea and it's a good thing. I don't want Chris to return and find me skinny.

 "You can't blame me,I don't joke with my stomach. So why microwave it when you could have use magic to make it hot"

I said and took another sip,she picked her cup and did the same.

"This place is not magic proof,people will get to notice something extraordinary. you know we can't let ourselves be known until South is safe to return to"

     She said and I understood why. She relaxed on the couch and closed her eyes, savaging the taste of the tea on her lips. I use that moment to admire her feature. Witches have extraordinary beauty and it's true in every aspect. My feature changed once I realized that I am witch,it became more appealing.

     I could remember a book I read when I was little;The main character happened to have an extraordinary beauty and the people started suspecting that she is not a human and it was true,they found out that she came from the ocean.

     Nosey humans,they are very clever and any creature other than human has to be careful if not, it will stop existing even before it start existing.

   She has fine jawline,her skin is pale and flawless. Her voices can calm your trembling heart,it sounds like music when she speaks and she has a kind nature. I kind of notice that White witches are kinder.
