Chapter 411 Don't Stop Smiling

When I got to my room, I took out the original necklace and put the replica inside the box and left my room again to Gracie's place. I found her in the room staring at nothing in particular with the rabbit, sitting beside her. I don't think they were talking this time around.

  "Hello my friend"

She turned and rolled her eyes.

"You again? When I say you are homeless, I am definitely right. What are you doing here, fang boy?"

   I had the feeling she was going to send me back to South so I had to act fast.

   "You don't have to keep sending me back each time I come here. I am here because I really want to be here. I want to be your friend, I am not harmful and you know that"

She sighed and closed her eyes.

 "I am not friendly. I don't know how to make people feel at home so you might as well go and don't give back"

And there she said the word I was afraid of. What else? I withered away like always.

   She can't keep doing this to me. Why would she have control over my being?

I returned back to her room and this time I was standing in front of her.

   "See, I don't care how you do that but stop it. Stop saying that word, if not, I will keep coming back."

  I was getting angry and she saw it.

I calmed down a bit and sighed.

   "Can't we be friends, you will really like me if you get to know me. You might fall for me, you know?"

I winked at her, she shook her head and stared at me.

  "You don't have to be so full of yourself. I am just going to accommodate you for a little while but don't cross your boundary or you are…"

  "Don't say it"

I quickly said, cutting her short.

   "Whatever"

She huffed.

"Well, I have got something for you. Since the necklace I brought here is for someone else, I made a replica of it and I want you to have it."

  "Why would you want me to have a necklace that looks like your bride's own?"

"I really don't know why but I just want you to have it. Maybe because the necklace likes you so I thought of making a twin of it and giving it to you. Please don't reject it"

I said and brought out the necklace from my robe.

 She stared at it and something flicked in her eyes. She blinked and looked up at me then turned her back and I wore her the necklace.

  She turned after I had put it on her and she was smiling.

   "Thanks so much, it's beautiful"

As much as I am happy she likes the necklace, I felt there is more. Suddenly, she is smiling.

   "I am glad you like it"

I said and she nodded her head.

   "I have not had a necklace before and it's very thoughtful of you to give me a necklace. You are not so bad after all, although I don't know why I am suddenly excited"

  She said thoughtfully.

"Well let me tell you something, you look breathtaking when you smile so don't stop smiling"

  I said as I made her face me. I don't know but Gracie suddenly looks like she belongs with me. Could it be the Necklace and if that's the case then, I am feeling good about it.

"Are you insane?"

My mind screamed at me and snapped out of it. 

   "Why do you suddenly become handsome, fang boy?. You have got a bride don't you? I am late already, I guess?"

"You are late for what?"

"You know, like becoming your bride but you have got a bride already and I am sad"

She said, shying away. I know Gracie was not herself. Whatever that is happening to her has to do with the necklace but why. I would say I like this side of hers but I prefer the other one. 

  "What if I ask you to be my bride instead?"

I asked her and turned her around to remove the necklace but I could not find the hook. I know there was a hook but the question is where did it go.

   "I am not wicked, I can't suddenly become your bride. It will be unfair on the poor girl"

She said while I was trying to figure out how to pull the necklace off her neck. It could not go up.

  The rabbit stood in front of Gracie and watched her, I was getting confused. I did not know what to do.
