Chapter 274 The World Is Too Big

I picked him up and walked back to where we were before and packed whatever that belonged to me in anticipation of Ben's arrival.

   He placed his head on my chest and I checked to see the state of his face and he was sulking. I was clueless on what to make out of his behaviors, this second he is happy, next second he will be sad.

   "Jeff darling, I am sorry I shouted at you but auntie did not want to you to get injure alright"

  I said, trying to make him see the reason behind my action. He wiped his tears and stared at me. I saw a child who looked lost and shallow and I was taken back. Jeff is not meant to go through anything that will make him look lost. He is just a boy,what is his story?.

   "Really, that means you love me that's why"

I heard him say that and I returned my attention to him. The once shallow look in his eyes was gone, replaced with hopes and expectations. I sighed,

   "Of Course I love you that's why I would not want anything to happen to you my darling"

I said and his full smiles returned. He waved his hands up in the air and danced on me. I was laughing so hard, how can he forget that he is in someone's arms and is jumping like this. What if we fall?

   "Auntie loves me,Auntie Loves me"

He sang happily.

  "You are so good at this, no doubt you are going to be a great mother"

I heard Ben's voice and I turned to see him smiling. I felt joy seeing him, if not that Jeff was in my atm, I would have done something crazy at this moment, I guess I have to wait for a little privacy.

   Jeff struggled out of my arms and ran to him.

   "Uncle good day, you are the friend who is here to pick us?".

   Ben bent to his level and kissed his forehead and I knew right there that Ben is going to be a good father too.

   "I am, boy, what's your name?"

He said after he pulled away from his forehead.

   "Oh that's really nice, I am Jeff. I can't wait to go with you both."

He said and Ben laughed.

  "Well we are almost going immediately"

Ben said and picked him up.

   He looked at me and beckoned me to come closer and I did after I had looked behind to see if I was forgetting something. I got to him and pulled me into a hug after he pecked my cheeks which gained a blush from me.

   "How are you darling, you look good"

He asked and complimented me at the same time and I could not stop blushing.

   "Thanks Ben"

"Let's go then"

He said and grabbed my right hand and we began walking towards his car.

Writer's point of view….

   In the distance stood a woman in a black cloak which hid her face from the sun. Her aura emanates anger and deep hatred.

   "I see you both have gotten lovey dovey with each other. Don't you think you are supposed to watch your back Nora. If I were you, I would not have been so relaxed. You know why because troubles loom around you and I am that trouble. You would not see me coming Noralla, when I get you this time around, I would make sure you never get reborn. Just get ready for me,I have a lot to dish out to you, foolish witch"

She said, turned back and start walking away. 

   As she left, the little boy appeared and smiled. He shook his head and thought for a while.

 "When I said I was a step ahead of you, I meant it, my jungle witch. Don't mess with her for the second time or else you will have me to contend with. I have got my eyes in you"

   He watched as she walked away and after he could not see her any more, he disappeared with a knowing smile. 

   Lady D is so sure that she would deal with Emery for the second time. 

   You are living does not mean someone else should die. The world is too big to contain everyone but what happens when people are jealous of the life you are living. Your every breath causes them sleepless nights and your end will be their gain. 

   But we forget that offending someone who is destined incurs wrath from above and Lady D does not know that heavens regret her existence and would do anything to make sure she lives no more but they are giving her a second chance to see if she would change because everyone deserves a second chance. 

   Nature folds hands so does the earth fold hands. All eyes are on her to make the wrong move then boom!.
