Likewise, I looked up at Gabriel to know if he's cracking a joke, but I was wrong. He looked damn serious. Yet, I had to confirm what I just heard, perhaps I heard wrongly.

"I met an investor of my company." He reiterated as the elevator opened and we walked out.

"Your company? When did you own a company?" I asked with amusement as we walked down the passageway.

"Ohh, I don't own a company, I mean the company I work for as an intern. My bad, I didn't tell you that my internship program has commenced?" He asked me with a grin, which I didn't much appreciate, as I don't see anything humorous about not telling me that detail.

"Well, apparently, as a good friend you are, what are friends for if not to keep secrets." I said and rolled my eyes before walking to my door, I inserted the card, and it opened wide, and I walked in and left it open.
