"I love you," Damien whispered against her forehead as he stroked her hair gently.

Elena smiled up at him before replying softly, "I love you too."

They lay there in silence for a few more minutes before Elena remembered something important. "Oh no," she exclaimed suddenly, sitting up abruptly.

"What is it?" Damien asked with concern etched on his face.

"I forgot to buy the missing prenatal vitamins today," Elena replied with a frown.

Damien chuckled softly before pulling out his phone from the nightstand drawer. "Don't worry about it love," he said reassuringly while tapping away on his phone screen. "I'll order some online right now so we don't forget again."
