Prologue

Marcus Huang is a famous entrepreneur and extremely rich, is also known for his arrogance and coldness, perfect aloof vice-president of Huang Goon International Corporation... the richest 2nd heirs in City-X but... only toward one person.

The Huang and Goon were billionaires having their own business empire to take care of that holds the most powerful clans in this City-X. The Huang business were handled by Mr Mathew Huang, Marcus's father and Marcus himself while the Goons, solely by the only daughter, Ms Goon WieShan (Mrs Huang) and her older son, Mervyn Huang. Mabel, still pursuing her Business and Finance Administration in one of the top 5 colleges in City-X.

Mrs Huang was the best friend of Ruby's mother, Han SuLing, a half Korean-Chinese bloodline. She met Ruby's mother while pursuing her studies in Korea and since she couldn't understand Korean well, SuLing assisted her mostly and they became best friend within 1 year.

After Ruby's mother visited City A for a short holiday, she met Gordan Tang, Ruby's father during a charity function held by the Goon's family. Mr Gordan Tang was a small mid-entrepreneur at that time. Father Tang and Mother Tang met few times after the function and got married after 5 years of friendships. Both the Tangs and the Huang's couple travelled to and fro between City-X and Korea for holidays. Because of this, their family (Huang and Tang) became close with each other, and this marked how Marcus and Ruby met.

Ruby was beautiful with an innocent soul. Her heart was as pure and as kind as can be. Ruby's life takes a spin when she meets Marcus Huang. She was the quiet type and didn't like mixing around but on the hand, Marcus was the playful, like to teased her alot when Mother Tang brought her to visit the Huang's family. After lots of Marcus's teasing and coaxing over the years, they got closed and ended up being a couple 3 years back. The Huang, especially Mother Huang who treated Ruby like her own daughter was delighted and looking forward to this young couple's relationship in marriage.
