I walk into my beast training class remembering the conversation I had with my teacher last night

"you maybe thinking why should you do that well you can get even more resources then what you get for just being a elite student"
"and you get personal lessons from yours truly" I sounded like a amazing deal but I felt as though something was not touched upon
"what is the cache on this" it seems like I was right as her mood changed instantly
"well instead of having the winter and summer breaks you will be given a handful of quest to do and the more you do the better the rewards"
that was not bad as during those breaks I would've been training so I agree with her deal becoming her representative
"oh before I forget the information I wanted to give you was that your alpha spinel snail has person or thing that they chose to worship and it seems yours has chosen you"
"that is good and bad as they will be loyal to a point and will defend you at all cost bit it is bad as when monster mating season comes around they will jump you"

"well hello there my lovely students it is good to see you all but I feel like we are missing something ahh yes your pets aren't here"
"well let's go to the feald to summon them ok" we exited the room from a door in the back bringing us to a large open feald
Ms Blackflame summoned her pet it was a hell fire spirit in all its sulfuric stench and after her all the other students started summoning their pets
they ranged from normal animals to even undead it was crazy to see all these different types of summons in such a closed in area
"today we'll be going over the basics that being teamwork as if you can't work with pet then what is the point of even having them"
"some of you might have a advantage as your pets are deeply loyal to their master for different reasons" when she was saying that she looked at me directly as Syn was hugging my side
"and some may have trouble controlling your pets for different reasons" she was looking at a boy who was arguing with their tamed orc
"so for today you and your pet will be doing three teamwork exercises the first is a trust exercise as your pet will guide you through a maze
"the second will be a fiscal test as you have to command your pet to do different attacks"
"and last will be a test of understanding as you will be given random tasks for you or your pet to do and you must find out what you pet won't want to do even if you ask"
"now as for our first person to do it will be miss Dawn can you and your pet come up to the first test"
as me and Syn walked up to the maze I could see that their was a mist covering most of it making almost impossible to see a thing then I was given a blindfold and Syn was given a map of the maze
we started to walk into the maze felling the cold mist on my body and holding Syn hand as they guided me

these are fire spirits born from the leftover emotions of a person that died in a fire so the most of the time take the shape of a burnt corpes
the have the power over not only their flames but the ashes and embers their flames produce
there was a tale of a giant and a hell fire spirit that fell in love with each other and from that love birthed a disaster that ended many kingdoms
