Richard 2.0

"You want us to what?!" Collin asked in disbelief. 

Elle had just told him that Laney wanted to go on a double date with them to an escape room. It was unbelievable enough that Richard supposedly cared enough about his contract wife to want her to stay with him. She had already told him about that as soon as Laney told her. 

He had been worried about this woman he didn't know even before his wife became friends with her solely because he did know Richard. So how had things managed to turn out like this?

He would have to see it to believe it. Going on a double date would allow him to do that but still…he wasn't the biggest fan of spending time with the guy. 

"Come on, it would make Laney so happy! I want to see for myself that Richard has gotten his act together anyway and that he isn't doing this solely so he won't be stuck with Karina by himself," Elle said.
