CHAPTER 1

It was the worst day of the week that Thursday in Oklahoma as John who works as a firefighter woke up that morning with a heart full of joy with thought's that his day would go well.It was 7:30am when John left the house for work in his newly acquired Chevy Camaro at a normal speed of 50km/hr.After a 30mins road trip The whether began to change and the environment was covered in fogs.what terrified him the most was the great Willis bridge that stood in Oklahoma totally covered,he could barely see incoming and ongoing vehicles so he reduced speed as he drive past the bridge,he began to look by his side just to avoid an ambush and just then he hits a dormant vehicle parked with the driver inside the parked car,John then opens his dashboard and brings out a crowbar,as he steps out of his car and advances towards the parked car he began to hear screams and quick approaching steps from the other side of the bridge so he holds his fist high and gets ready to defend himself with his crowbar.As the picture becomes clear he noticed that it wasn't an enemy but drivers,passengers and pedestrians fleaing and screaming at the top of Thier voice so he takes a bold step and moves faster into the fog to know what made the people flea as he gets closer to the other side he hears the cry of a man "help me,help me"the man cries out in pain so he rushed quickly towards the man and as the man See's John,he quickly grab him with a pleaing face"please sir,my wife is trapped,help her please"the man cries out to john,john then looks closely just to understand the cause of the man's frustration then he finds a bus with a damaged front part on the left side of the bridge with no passenger inside and on the other side he finds an SUV hanging partially on the bridge with a woman in the car and the cars only support was a rod that pierced it's rear ends and the car was slowly loosing it's grip,john then makes a quick calculation then he moves towards the car and finds the woman terrified"Hey miss what's your name"he asks."anna,my name is anna"she replied."now Anna,take a look at me,you have to trust me on this you're gonna be ok"john says to the terrified woman,he then strikes the back glass with his crow bar and the glass broke to shred but just then the car lost its grip again and goes out of the bridge with just the back hanging on the rod that was about to break,john then takes a quick look around and finds a rope in the bus by his left then he said to the woman who had already lost the will to live"hey Anna hold on tight I'll be back"he then runs towards the bus picks up the rope then runs back to the cars that was about to loose it's last standing chance.John quickly ties the rope to the bridge protector and ties the rope around his waist then he looks down at the woman,"anna take a quick look at me,now you have to trust me and climb up to me"he said giving Anna hope
