"Why does that Shining Ignition Stone look different?" asked Qin Jia. When he saw the stone thrown by Liu Ye, he noticed that its design was slightly different from his memory.

"I improved the Shining Ignition Stone, it works better than the previous design and wastes fewer materials," Liu Ye replied. Although he could make Shining Ignition Stones, their quality was still a little worse than the stones produced by the system. Now he had access to his system space, Liu was more willing to use system products. His own Shining Ignition Stones could be used on inferior formations, so as not to waste them.

His entire body turned azure green in colour, and green smoke was leaving his body. He looked like a radiant zombie.

Liu Ye had broken through the 6th and 7th layers of the Body Tempering realms within the first week he stayed at the Blazing Parasol Tree. 

The toxins in Liu Ye's body also started to riot. After a week of absorption, there were a lot of toxins accumulated in his body. Meanwhile, the dense Wood Qi in Liu Ye's body disintegrated into thin strands of Qi after assimilating into Liu Ye's body. 

A 5th grade Life form is similar to a True Qi realm cultivator. They use True Qi, a purer and more powerful form of Qi.

True Wood Qi helped Liu Ye in controlling the toxins within his body.

However, after the assimilation the large number of toxins amassed from a 5th grade material, rioted against the diminished form of Wood Qi.

Green blebs slowly covered Liu Ye's head, the gaps between his hair also showed them when the hair danced in the air. These poison filled blebs slowly spread all over his body. If Liu Ye inspects inside his body, he could see the blebs covering his organs.

Qin Jia passed a Vitality stone to Liu Ye when he saw his condition.

Liu Ye started to absorb the vital energy from the extremely rare Vitality stone. He circulated the vital energy according to the Emerald Essence Scripture. The toxins were then circled by the vital energy and wood qi.

At the 7th layer of the Body Tempering Realm, Liu Ye started assimilating the toxins and the wood qi. 

He wanted to improve the harmony of the toxins and wood qi while building his spirit root.

In four days, Liu Ye's body returned to normal colour, although there were small scars on his skin.

Liu Ye stopped tempering his body and asked Qin Jia to take him into the tent. His body became dull with no stamina.

"Why are there still some scars on your face? Didn't the vitality stone work properly? Or is your cultivation technique faulty?" asked Qin Jia with a frown. He didn't read the technique of Liu Ye. He couldn't ask him about that. However, the procedure of the cultivation technique was harming Liu Ye. Although Liu Ye confirmed that there were no problems with the cultivation technique and the abnormalities were due to the direct absorption of Qi from a life form which had negatively reacted with his body. However, Qin Jia was distrustful about the technique. "Is this cultivation technique really better than the thousands of the techniques we had in our sect?"

"After my next cultivation session, these scars will be gone, and I will look the same as before. This technique is more unique than all the techniques we had at our sect, there will be some concerns when cultivating techniques like these. Isn't the small inconvenience I had just now better than the drawbacks of other cultivation techniques?" Liu Ye answered in a low, tired voice.

"If there are no vitality stones, you won't be able to show your face in the future. I am not going to believe this cultivation technique has no negative effect on your health. Your face looked similar to those poison cultivators," Qin Jia refuted him. "One of these vitality stones could heal them. Don't you think you had used a bit too many vitality stones?" He nearly suspected that Liu Ye was cultivating a poison cultivation technique, but after checking that there were no toxins in his body, he relaxed. He wouldn't allow Liu Ye stepping into that vile path.

"Their health won't be healed by one vitality stone. Moreover, they won't be willing to heal themselves and get rid of all the toxins on them. There won't be any lethal poisons for them to use, which idiot would choose to extract them?" Liu Ye replied. "Although I had to use so many vitality stones, the benefits of this cultivation technique will be shown in a few days. Wait for it."

"Why can't you wait?" asked Liu Ye. Although the Evergreen/Emerald Essence Scripture had the possibility to form a wood spirit root, it was still a gamble. Without results, he shouldn't be saying about his expectations. 

"I will wait. That's what I am doing every time," said Qin Jia.

"I am glad I haven't promised you anything, otherwise you will be roasting me when I fail to deliver on it," said Liu Ye with a low laugh.
