Flame Baby Fruits

"What's the connection?" Asked Qin Jia.

"Then, Qin Jia, you must have heard about the Flame Baby Fruits?" Seeing that Qin Jia hadn't figured it out, Lan Yue asked another question.

"Flame Baby Fruits, those tiny fruits resembling a baby's fist! They're fire elemental 5th-grade spirit fruits. Did you come here for them?" Qin Jia immediately asked her, his eyes becoming focused. As a fire elemental cultivator, a rare 5th-grade spirit fruit like the Flame Baby Fruit could help him immensely. 

"Yes, our sect sent us here to collect them." Lan Yue replied to him.

"Is this matter not known to others? I haven't heard about it from public or from my hunting gang." A 5th-grade spirit fruit, especially a rare one among them, and yet he hasn't heard people discussing it in his gang, nor are there any rumours among the public. It feels strange to him 

"Looks like you have only just heard about it and don't know much about the Flame Baby Fruit. It takes between 180–250 years for the Flame Baby Fruit to ripen. Therefore, common people here don't know much about it. Additionally, you've joined what seems to be a relatively weak hunting gang, so they might not have known about it either. This matter is recorded in many big clans, sects and higher authority records. Only during the few days before the fruit ripens does this information spread among the public. As the people can't experience the importance or effects of the fruits, they will eventually forget about it. Gangs like yours won't stay together for long." Lan Yue explained to Qin Jia.

"Okay. Where's the Blazing Parasol Tree? How can one reach it? Do you have a map recording its location? And can other people reach the tree?" Qin Jia asked Lan Yue, as he contemplated that other people would also be searching for the fruit.

"Yes, we do have a map. Others might also have one. Some people simply follow the spotted Fire Grass and reach the tree." Lan Yue said to Qin Jia about the way to reach the tree.

"Okay. May I ask you about the purpose behind sharing all this information with me?" Qin Jia asked her.

"Brother Qin, I want to ask you whether you are willing to accompany to get the Flame Baby Fruits?" Lan Yue immediately asked him, there's a hint of nervousness in her tone. She saw Qin Jia's strength when he saved her from a 3rd level beast with a single slash of his sword. With Qin Jia's strength, he can join them and help her them a lot. She can also have plenty of time to spend with him.

"I am willing to accompany you, but I can't leave Liu Ye alone. I am responsible for his safety." Qin Jia said. "I need to talk with him and decide."

"How about I let one of my junior brothers look after Liu Ye? I can guarantee his safety." Lan Yue suggested immediately.

"Sorry, but I need to discuss with him." Qin Jia rejected her assistance.

"I want to go to with you." Liu Ye said loudly as soon as he heard Qin Jia mention the Flame Baby Fruits. Liu Ye was also interested in the Blazing Parasol Tree. He wouldn't miss a chance to get to it.

"No, it is not possible." Qin Jia refused without even thinking. "I am asking to discuss ways I can leave you safely here. Endangering you isn't an idea that we are discussing."

"I just want to go there. I don't want to join in the fight." Liu Ye said seriously.

"Where should I leave you when I fight for the fruits?" Qin Jia asked him. "I want to keep you safe. I also need the Flame Baby Fruits. Let's discuss an idea in which you can be kept safe."

"You should have left to get them without mentioning. Why are you discussing with me now? I will be safe in the city. I can also stay with Su Maoxian." Liu Ye said in dissatisfaction.

"It is a three days trip, and you will know about this sooner or later." Qin Jia answered. "I have to know if you are safe. We can consider your stay in Su Maoxian's home."

"Okay." Liu Ye said in a low discontent voice.

"I don't know how to answer about this to brother Qin." Su Maoxian said nervously. "I think we shouldn't have come to this forest."

"This behaviour is called foolishness, it is something you shouldn't worry about." Liu Ye said.

"Don't joke Ye, we might die." Su Maoxian said in irritation.

"When I said we should go, you responded positively. And now you are filled with negative thoughts. You made your decision, just follow me quietly, you will be safe." Liu Ye assured with a grin.

"What are we going to do when we face a wild beast?" Su Maoxian asked angrily.

"Eat it." Liu Ye laughed.

"The beasts or us, who's going to get eaten?" Su Maoxian asked in a loud voice. He was exasperated with Liu Ye's answer.

"Use your Qi to shout, we can know the answer soon." Liu Ye mocked him.

"I want to go back." Su Maoxian spoke through his gritted teeth.

"Get lost. Bye" Liu Ye said with a grin.

Su Maoxian exhaled while controlling his irritation and asked, "Liu Ye, do you really have a map to get to the tree? Let's go back, the map alone is not enough." 

"I have it. I know it is not enough. We are still going." Liu Ye replied.

"Are you crazy, Liu Ye?" Su Maoxian asked exhausted.

"You are stupid, Maoxian, you should have thought carefully. We have come this far, don't shrink back."

"You didn't give me enough time to think. And where's the map? I haven't seen you looking at it even once."

"I have memorised it." Liu Ye said while looking at the image on the screen in front of him.

"Are you supposed to memorise a map? Did you really not bring it with you?" Su Maoxian was upset with the answer.

"Just believe me, idiot." Liu Ye persuaded him.
