THE MEET

Mom came running towards me and shouted "OV come out right now !"

I heard her so I got ready and came out.

Mom asked "who did you meet today?"

I said "The guy that you sended ."

Mom asked Cukie "cukie I kept you there to keep a watch did you see her meeting him. "Yes Aunty, "Cukie replied"

I went near mom and calmed her down .

"What happened mom?,

"The guy who was supposed to meet you today was busy so he didn't make it up!" Mom replied.

"Then who was the guy who met you in the restaurant?" Cukie asked.

"How would I know? duffer! You were standing their on the gate or I would have already ran away." I replied irritatedly.

But one question was still keeping my mind irritated,

Who was the guy whom I met today !

Mom and Cukie were already in a shock about the guy, also I forgot to ask him for his number so what I know about him is just his name and hobbies rest all became a mystery for us.

What we had to do was just ignore the topic as nothng bad had happened .

Next morning,

Mom prepared breakfast for Cukie and me, we were discussing about some good locations for Cukie's wedding. I was not in the mood to attend office today so I asked Cukie if she is free, so that we can go for shopping together.

But ; she said no, she had a date with Ricky.

After an hour I got a call from office, and Stella was asking me about what has happened ? Why are you on leave? Boss is angry the file you submitted has lots of mistakes so better come to office today... ( I heard the chaos happening in the office, boss's voice was pretty clear in my ears)

I said, " yeah I will be there in an hour."

I got ready to go and as I reached, the first face I saw was no one else but boss, although I know, what is going to happened, but I also knew that it's nothng good.

He shouted at me ( I would call it yelling)

He said I have no brains and I have created a mess.. blahh blahh..

I just kept quite and said sorry as usual, but this time he was quite serious and the result was he fired me...

Before saying or asking anything,

He just said me to getlost.

I had a new mission in my list.

Well do you remember all the missions throughout the story..

And now one more

4) Job hunt

So the most important one is finding a new job,

I had applied in many companies but because I am just a graduate no one takes me seriously, my mom said that I need to complete my master's to find a better job but I am short of money and that's really hard for me.

I have to apply for a scholarship also dad is been working hard, mom opted me, may be I should ask him if he knows anyone who can arrange a job for me. I always had an easy life due to my parents.

But now I wanted to do something on my own so I started thinking if I should apply for a scholarship.

I was thinking really hard.

I had 82% in my graduation but the university that I was checking was only allowing students with more that 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, so I was worried because although I fit in criteria the chances are very low. May be attaching some good certificates will work.

I called Sadi my classmate she was also applying in the university admission for her graduation,

We were together since childhood we studied in same school, although we called eachother friends but we were more like close friends, helping eachother and supporting eachother throughout.

I had no experience of job because that old boss fired me too soon.

After applying for the scholarship, we were waiting for the results.

May be they will select us, it was a long procedure but we were praying for good results. (Selection for Interview)

After a week.

Sadi came running at my home she was very happy I asked her, " what happened ?"

She said that she got selected.

I was surprised, I almost forgot to check mine.

I started checking on my phone for the selected students list...

Sadi stopped me and said "don't check."

I asked her, "why. ( It felt like I was failed )

My mom came out of the kitchen, asked sadi about my result, (she looked worried) Cukie was at my home too asking for result.

Everyone was worried because Sadi was creating tension.

Sadi went into kitchen and brought sugar in a bowl.

And started laughing..

She said , " OV you cleared it ! "

Yepppieeee !

We gonna fly to South Korea.

We both got selected..

She said me to have sugar as Indians usually eat something sweet when they get a good news.

Mom hugged me and said "congrats my sweetheart, you did it, now work hard and goodluck ."

We were so happy and the university informed us, that we have to be there in Korea around 13 Feb as the college sem will be starting soon.

We were so happy and eagerly waiting to start a new life..

A good time to look forward...

After such good news , it was hardly possible for me to sleep.

The only thoughts running through my mind were,

"How will I reach there?"

" What should I pack more?."

"Isnt it too Early to pack"....

My excitement was at high peak.

Mom was so happy and now atleast People won't brag me anymore for now having a good college degree.

So much to say , so much to feel, what not to enjoy, why should I sleep....

My thought process works so efficiently that its hardly possible for me to stay quite .

Mom shouted ,

OPEN THE DOOOOR !!!
