Ch.140 Yukino(3)

As the days went on their school life continued, as usual, except for the fact that the coming election and the camping trip were being widely disguised nothing out of the ordinary happened.

So with that, the day the students had waited for finally arrived, a cheerful mood spread throughout the school as students gathered around.

All of them were wearing out clothes and had a bag on their back, they were prepared for the camping trip and were just waiting for the teachers to get the vehicles ready.

"So, the day finally came."

Hachiman muttered lazily as he stretched his body and looked at the cheerful students from the side acting like he wasn't going to go camping.

Bam!

A punch hit his head from the back and he fell to the ground, glaring at the attacker he shouted in anger.

"What the hell are you doing?!!"

Hearing his shout his attacker Chika made an annoyed face as she glared back at him, holding his ear with one of his hands she started to shout back at him.

"You ask me what am I doing?!! Let me ask you them, What the hell are you doing here?!! Did you forget the plan or something?!! Huh, idiot, We have been waiting for you for two hours by now."

Hearing Chika shout and hearing his words he closed his mouth, he knew that he was in the wrong here but still didn't want to lose to her.

"You could have just called me then, there was no reason to hit me!!"

Hachiman fought back, hearing this Chika gritted her teeth as she glared at Hachiman and Hachiman glared back at her.

They have always been like this as if some kind of natural enemy, if Ryuu didn't act as a bridge there was no chance they could have been friends.

Hearing them shouting at each other all the students nearby focused on them, but they didn't care neither did the students as it was a normal sight from them.

After studying with them for so long they had already known that these two were like cats and dogs, always fighting each other.

"Hey what are you doing here fighting, let's go they are waiting for us."

Aki's shout came from the side as they stopped glaring at each other, giving a "Hump" at Hachiman Chika went toward the group and Hachiman also followed with a sigh.

After a while of walking they arrived at their group's location, all of their friends were present there.

After they arrived the group was finally completed as they nodded at each other before moving toward a certain location.

Their group was quite a high-profile one, having people like Ryuu, Kaguya, and Yukino in the front, followed by Sora, Utaha, Ai and Chika just behind them.

Behind them were Miyamura and Hori who were walking while holding hands, some girls cast a jealous gaze at Hori.

After all sometime after they started dating Miyamura trimmed his hair and let his natural handsomeness sign through.

Behind them were Aki and Hachiman who were walking while talking to each other, those being in the spotlight bothered Hachiman he was already used to it by now.

After walking for a while they arrived at their location around the lake, sitting on a secluded corner they formed a circle as they sat on the field of grass.

"So why were you late?"

Ryuu asked the question casually as he looked at Hachiman, feeling his gaze Hachiman scratched his head as he let out his words.

"Sorry."

Hearing his words, Ryuu didn't want to continue the topic but it seemed Chika had other plans.

"Hey, why didn't you say sorry to me?"

Chika asked as she glared at Hachiman, hearing her words he glared back at her, and just as he was about to say something a voice stopped him.

"Stop, we don't have time for your quarrel now."

It was the voice of Yukino, hearing her voice both of them closed their mouth, Chika gave a sound less sorry and Hachiman also apologized.

"So, I suppose everyone has bought what we needed to bring?"

Kaguya asked and they nodded their head, after which she gave a satisfied smile as she looked at Ryuu.

Ryuu nodded his head as he continued the topic.

"As you all know we will be separating from the main group, and also have a side of the mountain for ourselves for this three-day trip."

"So, I hope you guys have already told your parents about this, also since I have become responsible for this group if you face any problems there you can ask for my help."

As Ryuu continued his words they listened silently, he told them about their general plans and what they needed to watch out for in the mountains.

"Also your training will be stopped for four days."

Hearing his words most of them breathed a sigh of relief as their expression became happier than before.

Even Hachiman was grinning, after all, they won't have to go through that hellish training for these four days.

Due to being members of the "All-encompassing Sword Style Club" they had to follow the training schedule prepared by Ryuu.

This did bring them great results as all of them were more physically fit than ever before, even Hori the weakest of them could beat up a group of more than ten students if he so wanted.

But the mental and physical pain that came from doing this training, 'Torture' in their words was way too hellish.

They asked Ryuu why they needed to do this training he just replied, that they needed it to protect themselves.

As for whom they need to protect themselves from he didn't answer.

Even with this vague situation and their own thoughts they still followed this schedule, after all, Ryuu doesn't do things without a reason.

Most of the time, he can be mischievous sometimes. Though they hadn't seen that side of his currently after he had regained his emotions.

In fact, they had felt an invisible wall being created between them, they had said anything as they knew that the four girls were making some plans related to that topic.
