Ch.137 Forgotten Something

It has been a few days since Ryuu has gotten back his emotions, well for his friends and family at least.

Although hectic at first it has mostly calmed down, and they have somewhat gotten used to it. Though Sora always stares at his face, getting lost in her own thoughts.

She seems to have something in her mind, that she is currently trying not to say. As for what that something is, well only Sora may know.

Today was quite a special day, as for why.. well, Miyamura was going to propose to Hori and news had already spread.

As for the culprit of spreading the news, well you can blame a pink-haired detective. Though most were acting as if they didn't know anything.

Miyamura, oblivion to this continued to practice his confession, as for Hori she was a nervous wreck as Miyamura had called her.

When the fated time finally arrived, Ryuu and his friends were sitting on the rooftop of the school building as they watched the scene.

Most students were looking at it from either the class or from far away. Some were even hiding in the trees nearby.

"Wow, how did you get the rooftop keys."

Aki asked as he looked at Ryuu, after all this space is prohibited for students to enter.

"Asked the principle, being the top grade in the country has its advantages I guess."

Ryuu replied back as he looked at the place where Miyamura would confess. Chika next to him was wearing a cheerleader outfit and cheering for Miyamura.

"I raised that boy, You can do it Miyamura."

She shouted with tears of joy falling from her eyes, it seemed all of this was her plan. Also, Ryuu was wondering where she got the outfit from.

Sora was looking at the skies not minding the current situation. Yukino and Utaha were silently staring at the place as Kaguya was sitting on a bench drinking some juice.

Finally, the star of the show arrived as Hori and Miyamura approached the place from the opposite side of the school building.

The surroundings became more silent, and all of the people in the school quieted down as they anticipated what was to come.

Normally this situation wouldn't have blown this much but with Chika putting flames to the fire it reached this point.

And although Miyamura actively tried to hide his good looks, he is famous in his own right. After all, he always hangs around with Ryuu.

All of them are quite a famous bunch, and their reputation spread throughout the country. In fact, currently, there shouldn't be any schools that don't know their name.

This has also become a headache for Hikigaya as he always complains about it to god before sleeping.

Although the atmosphere was awkward Miyamura confessed as Hori accepted, the school erupted with a cheer as they became a blushing mess.

Hori grabbed Miyamura's hands and both of them ran away, seeing this the cheers became even louder.

"The show finished quite early."

Yukino said as she broke her gaze for the newly formed couple and stared at Ryuu.

"Well, it was somewhat entertaining."

Utaha said as she also gazed at Ryuu. Her thoughts are hidden but also shown by her eyes.

"Well, no need to waste time here anymore."

Kaguya said as she stood up, walking toward the door she stopped and looked back. All of them started to follow her starting with Sora.

"Hey."

Hikigaya called Ryuu as he grabbed his shoulder.

"Yes?"

Ryuu asked as he turned his head back confusion visual in his eyes, after all this isn't standard Hikigaya behavior.

"It's your turn now. Don't keep them waiting."

After saying that he also left leaving Ryuu alone, confused by his words for a while, after all this was the first time he had seen Hikigaya talk like this.

He grabbed his head as a surge of pain was felt, for some reason, he felt like he had forgotten something.

'True Sage, Did I forget anything?'

Ryuu asked just to be sure, after all even if it is impossible for him to forget with his memory power it doesn't hurt anybody to check.

[Scanning.... No memories have been lost, Master. Do you wish me to repeat this process?]

True Sage questioned perplexed by her master's question, after all, she keeps a copy of his memories and nothing is missing from her copied pile.

'No need must have been a wrong call.'

Ryuu said as he looked toward the door, Sora was staring at him lost in her own thoughts, smiling at her he walked toward her.

...

'Brother....'

Sora thought to herself as she looked at her brother's face, for some reason she had a gut feeling that something had changed.

 So she has finally decided to ask Yukino, Utaha, and Kaguya about this matter. After all, if she felt it they must have felt it too.

Kaguya seems worried these days, must be due to this reason.

'Hmm, I hope I am wrong.'

She hoped as she held her brother's hand, it was warm as always. Her body relaxed as she leaned her body close to his.

"Sora, be careful, you may fall."

He said in a worried voice, hearing his worry a sense of joy filled her heart. After all, she had thought she had lost this forever.

"You will protect me, won't you? So why do I need to worry."

Hearing her words he smiled as he gave her a bonk, Sora pouted as Ryuu pocked her pouting cheeks.

"Even if that's the case, you still have to be careful."

Ryuu said in a lecturing manner as Sora nodded her head, as well as for if she would follow his words or not. Only she knows.

"Brother, are you facing any problems these days?"

Sora asked as she looked at him, her voice cuter than before.

"Not really, why do you ask?"

Ryuu questioned back hearing a weird question from his sister.

"Just wondering."

Sora said as she leaned her body towards him again and became silent, seeing this Ryuu sighed but didn't say anything.
