Ch.121 Returning home
"Wow, you are so cool sensei."
Kenya mutters with excitement as he jumps up from the sofa, takes out his sword, and runs to the training ground.
He seems to have gotten all the motivation he needs.
Ryota and Gale follow him as they give a nod to Shizu and Ryuu.
Alice and Chloe have fallen asleep on Ryuu's lap, Ryuu moves his body a little to make it more comfortable for them.
"Still kind as ever."
Shizu says looking at his behavior, with a smile on her face she giggles a little.
"Well, they are my students."
Ryuu says as he gently pats their head, both of them move their body feeling his pats, and embrace him even tightly.
After Shizu words silence follows, a comfortable silence as they enjoy each other's company, they have been talking for hours now so it is a good change of pace.
"Thank you."
After a while of silence, Shizu mutters as she looks at the kids playing and training outside with smiles on their faces.
"You know there is no need for that."
Ryuu replies to her words as he also smiles.
"I know, but still let me say it. After all no matter what you say, the gratefulness I have for you is unending."
After saying such words Shizu looks at Ryuu's face and Ryuu looks back at her, both of them stare at each other.
An ambiguous silence follows.

Ryuu's imaginary voice shouts out in his head, but Ryuu simply ignores it.
"You know Ryuu."
She voices her words out as her voice gets more gentler.
"Hmm?"
Ryuu tilts his head as he looks at Shizu's face.
"What will you do after you have finished your adventures?"
She asks him a question, a simple one, but a question with infinite answers.
"I don't really know. Perhaps settle down and have a family, Hahaha."
Ryuu answers her in a not-so-serious manner as he rubs his head.
"I see..."
Shizu hearing his answer simply mutters as she ponders to herself. Looking at the kids outside she mutters in a small voice.
"I can be your family."
"Huh, did you say something?"
Ryuu questioned as if he didn't hear her words clearly.
'<How irritating of an act you are pulling>'
The voice grumbles with dissatisfaction, after all, it knows what Ryuu is truly thinking. Plus someone as strong as Ryuu didn't hear those words, even a toddler will not believe such words.
Shizu also knows it, after all, she can feel how strong Ryuu is, saddened by it a little she says.
"Nothing."
Perhaps this was too quick, she thinks to herself as she gives a mental sigh.
"So, Ryuu how long are you going to stay this time."
She asks changing the topic, although she wishes for him to stay here for a long time, if he wishes to leave early then she won't stop him.
"For about a week."
Ryuu replies after thinking for a while.

She mutters her voice a little sad, but quickly changing her expression and thought she stands up and says.
"Then let's make it the best week possible."
She exclaims with enthusiasm as she exits the room, most likely to make plans for the week.
Chloe also closes her slightly opened eyes and lets herself fall into the land of dreams herself.

Gulping down a glass of beer I rest my head on the table, it has been a month since he left the academy.

The true sage replies as a dot appears in front of me, letting some energy flow into my legs I sprint toward the dot, well that was the idea first but seeing the city walls I simply jump and start to fly toward it.
After a minute of flying, I arrive above the great forest as I let my senses free, searching for the slime.
Feeling a giant poll of magicule radiating from a certain place, I smile to myself as I rush there.
As I arrive there I can see a small blue ball, bouncing around the forest, as if sensing my presence it stops and looks at me, well I can feel it staring at me.
As its eyes lay upon my figure it glows as if, a gacha player got a five star in their first pull.
"HELLO"
With a voice so loud that it will even put a microphone to shame, a kid's voice reaches my eyes. Not minding the sound I fly down near him as I stand next to him.
"Hello."
I reply back with a smile, I am speaking Japanese currently, and hearing that he jumps up in joy as he asks with anticipation.
"Are you Japanese?"
"Well, my home country is Japan."
I reply as I chuckle a little.
