CHAPTER 54 Many things in a single day.

A new day arrived.

My day was divided as follows:

  1. Breakfast with my whole family (I realized I may have gone a bit overboard with the women).

  2. Going to greet the people I helped yesterday.

  3. Visiting my newly arrived in-laws.

Breakfast was one of the most important moments of the day.

We all gathered at 8 in the morning to have breakfast.

Although some of the girls arrived at different times during the day, the house is so full of rest-related concepts that even with just 15 minutes of sleep, you feel like new.

The kitchen turned into a battlefield to win the favor of the mother-in-law, but not all the girls were skilled in the kitchen, and with so many of them, it was obvious they would create a disaster.

After breakfast, I went to greet the people I had helped yesterday. Most of them were feeling depressed and sad about being away from their families.

As I didn't want to see them like that, I kicked them out of my house...

Mansion guards accompanied them, and their mission was to find supplies and help the kids find their relatives.

Komuro and his group, on the other hand, decided to go to Saya's house. Why? I have no idea, because this place is much better than Saya's mansion.

Of course, I accompanied it with the best alcohol their mouths have ever tasted: beer, sake, soju, makgeolli, tequila, vodka.

We had a great party, and I got the approval of most of my in-laws.

The ones who still didn't approve put me to the test by watching how I treated their daughters.

I treated them so well as a form of apology.

The truth is, I didn't worry about their safety during the zombie attack; I forgot.

Some of them arrived as zombies or died, and I simply healed or revived them while erasing that part of their memory.

If they were lucky enough to have younger siblings, they were saved from the start due to my sacred zones, like Asuna's parents, Mikuni, and Teacher Kiryu.

The party with my in-laws lasted until late at night, and the girls were tired too.

It was time to relax with a movie.

Well, Megumi's mother and Satomi's mother, Ayako, are here. It's only because they are trustworthy people, and Megumi is my primary mother-in-law.

It wasn't much, and I gained too much.

During that time, my body learned to adapt to living without time and space. There, I gained immunity to time-based attacks; they can't accelerate, slow down, or alter time or space in my presence.

The next part begins: a hero discovering the truth.

"Fear floods the minds of weak humans when they discover the existence of beings who can erase them from existence with a single thought."

It's an important moment in my decision-making that I can't avoid showing them, and I don't want to.

The human mind doesn't have the strength to endure for eternity. It's designed to last a maximum of about 300 years, even for the strongest-willed human.

I have to drive them a little crazy to get them to join me on this journey.

The next scene shows me lying on the ground, gazing at the endless stars with empty, lifeless eyes.

This continues until Clarion arrives to encourage me to continue the journey for the people I love.

Just in case it's not clear enough, I'm portraying my story as that of a noble hero seeking power to protect my loved ones.

I didn't mention how I stole someone else's fate to enter the library. Clarion is also gaining a positive image as a wife always ready to support her husband.

I didn't narrate how she views other humans as trash and only helps them at my request or due to their fate.

All of this is designed to improve our image while making them understand everything.

I feel no remorse for that. It's a truth of the world: "The powerful dictate the story."
