Chapter 2-[LET ME TELL YOU SOMETHING!]

The citizens of Jump City were enjoying their peaceful city sometime after the alien invasion, the workers with the help of their resident hero had been rebuilding the city.

However, someone was willing to change that, at one of the construction sites a battle was underway.

In a small explosion, a large body flew until it collided with an industrial crane, which was destroyed.

"Come on out you damn freak, I'm not done yet!" From the origin of the explosion a rather large man came out screaming.

He wore a green industrial suit, a pair of gloves, boots, and a carmine belt, his face was covered by a mask of the same color leaving his mouth exposed.

In his right hand, he carried a metal bar which gave off small electrical charges.

As the crane began to move, a voice responded, "Gartwaite, I suggest you give up before you hurt someone." A green hand was the first thing to come out, quickly followed by a body.

When the being came out, his appearance was visible to the few nearby civilians, he was some humanoid made of some mineral, four-pointed crystals stood out on his back, and his face was angular, presenting a large jaw and yellow eyes.

"I TOLD YOU, MY NAME IS DEMOLITIONING!" The proclaimed demolishing ran towards the being with the bar raised, as soon as he was close he tried to deliver a blow, failing in each attempt.

Releasing a small sigh, I transformed my two arms into a shield and mallet. "You're not leaving me much of a choice right now." Dodging his next blow, I attacked him with the shield. He received the blow with his face. However, he was quite resistant since he only stumbled a little.

"Fortunately Diamonds are just as resistant" When he returned the blow with his weapon I countered it with my sword, unfortunately, Diamonds are not strong enough to resist him, since my sword was destroyed.

[T/N: Yeah...because the Petrosapian species are silicon-crystal based, Ben was just a kid that could think of anything better than diamonds to compare a durable creature to.] 

"Die freak!" Dodging his next attack I regenerated my arm, when his weapon hit the ground it caused a small earthquake which made me stumble.

"This is getting dangerous, we better finish it Garthwaite" Without allowing him another movement I put my hands on the ground and a second later large diamond pillars emerged stopping him in the air while his weapon fell to the ground.

[T/N: F*ck it! Diamonds are so weak in DC that basic superhumans can break them.]

Seeing that he was defeated I returned to my human form as I walked towards his metal crowbar "This technology is very powerful, I hope the police can find out where you got it from" Taking it I began to walk towards the police officers who had just arrived.

[T/N: OOOOOoooo! APOKOLIPS]

"Omnaz, I see you took care of the problem" The officer who dealt with these types of problems was one of the oldest in the force.

Letting out a sigh I responded "Yes officer, this weapon seemed to give him his powers, at the moment he seems just as powerful as any other human, the diamonds will disappear in twenty minutes" Giving him the lever I said goodbye to him after shaking his hand.

[T/N: Ok nevermind APOKOLIPS tech makes that understandable]

Greeting some people I walked towards a small parking lot, my goal was the vehicle that I had created for myself a few days before.

"-I still can't believe I found a Harley Davidson Iron 833 among so much garbage-" In front of me was said motorcycle, only with several changes to a normal one.

[T/N: Anyone got a pick? My dad has a Harley Davidson but I never got into the brand]

Instead of gasoline, that beauty worked with an inexhaustible source of energy, it was incredible what one could do with the right subjects.

A few seconds later I was leaving the parking lot, it was time for a break, or at least that was the idea until the communicator integrated into my Harley rang.

"Omnaz here, what's the situation?" In a flash J'onn's voice answered me.

"Omnaz there is a raid in progress, I'll send you the coordinates" As the coordinates appeared on a small screen I grimaced a little.

"I understand, I will try to get there as soon as possible, Omnaz out." Finishing the call, I thought about the fastest way to get there finding a single solution.

Parking I touched the Omnitrix, I knew the right alien.

In the blink of an eye, a black semi-liquid metal being with green lines was sitting on the motorcycle.

"Well it's time to work" In one thought my body began to melt as it began to engulf the motorcycle which began to change.

In a few seconds, it looked more like a mini Jet than an old motorcycle. "Well, let's see the speed of this beauty." In the blink of an eye, the vehicle left the ground and began to disappear into the sky.

Several minutes later, alien incursion site.

As I approached the coordinates I could hear the sounds of battle, when I finally reached the origin I found some big red guys fighting with Flash, Hawkgirl, and J'onn.

As soon as I hit the ground I separated from my motorcycle to run towards the first subject, he tried to stop me with his electricity baton however my body became semi-liquid falling all over his body in a second.

As he fought I came to an interesting revelation, he was not wearing armor.

The entire body began to change color when I finished coupling, in a second a body a little larger than his appeared while his friend's back was turned as my eye appeared where the face was.

"I was wrong, it's not armor, it's a body" When the closest one tried to touch me I sent him flying with one blow, the second one hit me causing me to slide a few meters away from him.

However, before he could attack me again, Superman arrived. "Back off," in a display of strength, he hit him into a building where they began to fight.

"Omnaz, is that you?" Looking down I found Flash and Hawkgirl both on guard.

"Yes Flash, although in this form you can call me Upgrade, these guys are robots and I can control them" Before anyone could say anything we heard a scream and an explosion.

Superman was in trouble and J'onn was joining the fight again.

"Less talking and more fighting" Hawkgirl flew in Superman's direction to support him while Flash and I went with J'onn.

The fight that had already been going on for a few minutes began to escalate in destruction when Superman was sent flying into a gas station, when we were going to counterattack a wall of green light prevented us from doing so.

"Enough!" Green Lantern had arrived, as he landed he approached the two red guys, surprising us.

"Green Lantern, your John Stewart?" that seemed to be Lantern's name.

"Yes I am" raising his hand the being spoke.

"Your ring" Looking up he looked at me "And our partner" I raised my hands which were transformed ready for fights, however, they stopped me.

"Boy, leave your partner, they're just doing their job!" As he handed over his lantern ring he looked at me, returning his gaze I strolled, once I was close to them I separated myself from the red being who stumbled a little before looking at me.

"Hey, what are you doing?!" It seemed like Flash had reached his limit.

"Don't get involved" While two of them were handcuffing him, the third guy spoke.

"You will come with us" It was at that moment that a yellow light surrounded them we could only watch without knowing what to do.

A second later they took off towards the sky, in a green flash I returned to my human form "Any idea what happened."

"Not at the moment, we better go to the watchtower" While we all obeyed Superman I remembered my motorcycle.

"Superman, a favor, could you take my motorcycle to the ship, I would waste time waiting for the Omnitrix to charge" Superman gave me a yes while he asked me what it was.

"Easy, a Harley Iron 833, it has the Omnitrix engraved on it" At my words Flash whistled in surprise while he asked me questions and Superman took off in search of my motorcycle.

A few minutes later…

While we were all wondering what had happened to Lantern, J'onn looked into space very focused.

"I sense confusion, a heavy heart" J'onn's words did not give good news, however, Flash tried to be funny.

"I could have told you that" While looking at him annoyed Superman walked toward J'onn who continued talking.

"Look at the stars" flying towards a console Superman asked which ones, and as we all approached J'onn indicated the place on the space map that had appeared.

"That's where he is, Ajuris 5 " Looking into the distance I couldn't help but ask a question.

[T/N: Yes...that is a real planet in DC.]

"Will our ship be fast enough?" As we walked to the hangar it was Superman who answered me.

"Yes, Batman helped with the design," accepting the words of the being from a very distant planet, I calmed down.

[T/N: ...Guys, please, he does not know about the DC Multiverse.]

Several minutes later the ship was traveling through space in the direction of Ajuris 5.

As we entered the atmosphere Hawkgirl asked the question that was on everyone's mind "Why would he give them his ring like that without a fight? It doesn't make any sense."

"John is strange that's for sure, but even he must have his reasons" Hawkgirl's next comment made me laugh.

"I'm beginning to believe that all humans are strange" When she felt Superman's gaze she continued "No offense to those present" While Superman calmed her down I couldn't stop laughing causing Flash to laugh with me.

"You can see that we don't take it as an insult, it's more of a compliment" While Superman touched the console he spoke out "Start landing procedure" However some shockwaves shook the ship surprising us all.

While Flash took care of communications I checked the damage to the ship.

"They don't respond to our calls!" Checking the stability of the ship, I noticed that the damage was minimal but was accumulating.

"It's very clear what they want, I'll aim the guns" I heard how Superman stopped Hawkgirl from shooting.

"Superman, if we're not going to shoot we must do something, the damage is accumulating, and the ship won't be able to hold on forever!" Getting up he left the controls.

"Omnaz, you and Flash land the ship, and the rest of us will stop the shooting." As I watched the three leave, I got up to get to the controls where Flash was trying to figure out how to operate it.

"Do you have any ideas?" Flash responded nervously as he tapped buttons like crazy.

"Of course not, I've never flown!" Letting out a sigh I held up the Omnitrix quickly choosing Upgrade.

When Flash looked at me because of the green glow I barely heard him "Hey what...?!" I quickly began to merge with the ship and in a matter of seconds, an elegant green ship began to fly around the planet.

"I'm looking for a landing zone, hold on" Out of surprise Flash sat up quickly as the ship moved quickly.

"A...Are you okay, I mean, are you the ship now?" Finding a place thanks to the lack of shooting, I answered.

"Yes and no, Upgrade allows me to combine with all technology, I manipulate it and improve it but I am still me, so I am not at risk if what I possess is destroyed" Accepting my words Flash prepared himself when the ship began to land.

As soon as I touched the ground I separated from it, standing in front of Flash "Perfect landing" A moment later he ran towards the exit hatch where he was greeted with gunshots.

"We are not alone!" While he was returning, I looked at the console and found several guys who were fighting with the others.

Touching the Omnitrix I became me again "The others are taking care of it" In a matter of seconds everything was over, so we both left the ship.

"Now we just have to find Lantern" Luckily J'onn had that covered.

"Lantern should be over there," following his gaze we saw a large building in the distance.

"Come on, we better get moving." Superman carried me while J'onn carried Flash, and Hawkgirl followed us.

Superman was fast so in a matter of a minute we were in front of the building where he cut a hole with his heat vision.

The place was full of beings, and while the handcuffed Lantern was in front of a screen with three faces, our entrance seemed to cause a commotion.

While we were listening to the order being called, we noticed that we were in some kind of trial.

"Take out the intruders!" two beings obeyed the order as they tried to hold Superman, being sent flying with ease.

As the red robots were getting ready to attack Superman spoke "Wait, we apologize for interrupting this process but John Stewart is our friend" one of the faces on the screen spoke.

"This is a public trial," another continued.

"They can very well stay, but they will watch from the gallery, but one intervention, and they will be judged." Accepting, we began to move to go up to the gallery.

Having found seats a few minutes later we paid attention as the trial continued.

When the witness who turned out to be a pirate recounted the crime I was quite surprised by the damage that Lantern's power could do.

One bad shot and a planet was destroyed.

After the testimony, a break was ordered so we could approach John to talk to him.

Flash arriving first spoke "I understood everything, you wanted to clear your name that's why you turned yourself in" However Lantern was upset.

"I told them not to intervene," Hawkgirl ignored him as she watched the witness leave.

"It's obvious that this criminal is lying, give me five minutes with him and he'll shout the truth" John's voice sounded annoyed again.

"Hawkgirl, everyone, listen to me! He didn't lie, you've seen it." Following his gaze we saw a large number of inert asteroids. "I did it, I'm guilty." They weren't asteroids, they were the remains of the destroyed planet.

Minutes after John's confession, the five of us were analyzing the situation.

"Three million victims, I still can't believe it" Superman was just as incredulous as Flash.

"Me neither" Walking away he continued speaking "I want to investigate in detail what happened."

"Why? John admitted his guilt, no one says it wasn't him." I was a little surprised by Hawkgirl's simple way of thinking.

"Maybe I do," returning to us Superman approached J'onn and me "J'onn, Omnaz I want you to come with me" Seeing no problem I accepted.

"Flash, Hawkgirl, try to buy some time." Flash didn't see the point of the simple request but he accepted.

Minutes later the three of us were returning to the ship.

"What do you hope to find on the moon?" J'onn asked, apparently Superman had suspicions about him.

"I don't know yet, but something is bothering me…I think" he sounded a little like Batman.

"Your intuition" 

"Exactly Omnaz" Returning the smile I couldn't avoid my last comment as we boarded the ship.

"I learned from Batman" A moment later the three of us shared an amused smile.

While the two of them went to the controls I decided to take my designated place as a passenger, I still hadn't completely learned how to fly.

Thanks to the speed of the ship we reached the moon in a matter of minutes.

"I'm surprised that Batman created a space suit leaving room to use my Omnitrix" My suit had an opening to place my watch without letting oxygen escape.

"Batman is very meticulous with what he does, come on we must hurry" J'onn and I followed Superman as he began to walk on the moon.

A few meters away from the ship Superman stopped. "Don't you notice something strange?" I could only look at the ground. The truth was I had no idea what he meant, but J'onn did.

"Yes, how is it possible that the moon is orbiting a planet that does not exist" That caught my attention.

[T/N: ...the moon does take some time to change orbit, especially if there are no other astral bodies close to it.]

"Wait! What do you mean, please explain to me." Superman looked at me before speaking.

"The moon must have exploded when the planet was destroyed" which made me understand.

"And since it's still here, it means something very strange is happening." Superman rose a little from the ground.

"Let's separate, Omnaz, you stay close to J'onn, although your suit has thrusters I don't want you to get lost in space, look for anything strange," agreeing to activate the thrusters of my suit while J'onn began to fly.

Seconds later we had separated from Superman.

"I wonder how you keep a moon in orbit when no such orbit exists?" looking at the sky J'onn replied.

"That's what we're going to find out" It was time to explore the entire moon.

Sometime later, while we were passing through a crack in the moon, J'onn detected something.

"Omnaz wait, I think I saw something, follow me" Following him we went down to the crack, finding a huge machine attached to the wall of the moon.

"That's not natural." J'onn looked at his intercom when Superman's voice rang.

"J'onn, did you find anything?" looking at me and then at the machine he responded.

"We found something, but we don't know exactly what it is, I'll activate the suit's signal." A minute after turning it on, Superman arrived flying.

"What do you think that machine is?" As I approached I listened to the conversation between them.

"When I was a kid we had little toys called illusions, they projected images onto objects and empty spaces." That technology sounded pretty impressive for a toy.

"Do you think it's a bigger version?" playing with the machine I heard J'onn's response.

"The engineering designs seem similar, which would explain why this moon is still intact." Listening enough I started to choose Upgrade.

"If you don't mind, I'll check." A second before touching the Omnitrix, a shot hit J'onn, hurting him while Superman and I looked at the sky.

The next shot hit Superman so I quickly transformed, it was at the right time since a third shot caused rocks to fall on the three of us.

As I started to get out of my Upgrade-shaped suit I heard Superman yell "Omnaz! Are you okay?!" Coming out between the cracks I stood in front of him.

"Yes, I barely had time to transform, I will join the machine to prevent it from being destroyed" Without waiting for a response I threw myself on the machine, however, I was surprised when I noticed that it took me a bit of work to join the technology.

"Any problem...?" creating an eye I looked at J'onn, Superman seemed to have gone to help the ship that had appeared to defend us from the attack.

"You can call me Upgrade J'onn, and it's taking me a while since this technology is quite advanced, but I'll make it." In the blink of an eye, I returned to my task.

[T/N: A Galvanic Mechmorph can tamper with the Omnitrix, they can tamper with Galvin Tech, but DC can not be that much harder.]

Several minutes later when I was in the middle of work, Superman returned with the witness from John's trial, the ship that helped us turned out to be piloted by Hawkgirl.

While I listened to the conversation my work was still in progress.

When she explained who was behind everything I was a little surprised.

"J'onn and I will return to our witness" Superman took the alien before looking at Hawkgirl "Stay with Upgrade, when we give you the signal, tell him to turn off the machine, don't destroy it, it will serve as proof" Seconds later the three left.

"Is it difficult to assimilate?" Almost crushing the machine I responded.

"It's like a puzzle that you've already completed once, it's tedious but not difficult." I hurriedly continued my work.

Sometime later, when the machine was in my control, I dedicated myself to studying the plans while waiting for Superman's signal.

"Upgrade, it's time to turn it off!" Listening to the signal I turned off the machine with a thought, a second later a blue planet appeared where there was a large group of rocks before.

Finishing my task, I separated from it to move towards Hawkgirl's ship where she was beginning to hover.

"Come on, we should go get some people before we go help the others" Entering my suit I returned to my human form.

"Ok, let's go" When we returned to Ajuris five I waited in the ship while she left, when she returned I was surprised to see her surrounded by some green lanterns.

"They will help us" Showing them the signal from Superman's communicator, the Lanterns cheered up, very surprised by the coordinates.

"Come on kid, I'll take you" The biggest Lantern wrapped me in a sphere of light to follow his companions and Hawkgirl.

The lanterns were equal to or faster than our ship, in a matter of minutes we found ourselves arriving at a planet that was in battle.

As we approached, I managed to identify our companions who were fighting against the red robots. "Hey big guy, is there oxygen in the atmosphere yet?" He blinked at me before answering.

"My name is Kilowatt dwarf and there is already oxygen" Smiling I chose the heavyweight of my aliens, and in a flash, there was no longer a human next to Kilowatt.

"I apologize Kilowatt, my name is Four Arms, I'm not a dwarf and I would like to go now" Without saying anything the bubble disappeared so I prepared myself for the fall.

The robots below never stood a chance as a red giant crushed them easily.

Fighting the robots was no problem for Four Arms, however, there were too many of them so no matter how many he finished, more continued to arrive.

When I saw Flash stumble and about to be attacked from the sky I opened my arms "Don't get up Flash!" Fortunately, he obeyed me since in a double clap a powerful air current destroyed his attackers.

I jumped up to him to see how he was feeling. "How are you feeling?" Releasing a groan, he slowly stood up.

"Good, but there are too many of them, this will take us..." an explosion silenced him while a large being left the main building, preparing to attack. I could only blink as I saw how it disappeared.

"That was anticlimactic" seemed to be the end of the battle since the robots were finished, all that was left was to wait for John.

Meanwhile, Kilowatt approached me "Boy, I don't know what you are, but there's no doubt about your strength." A moment later he offered me his hand so I smiled and accepted it.

"Likewise Kilowatt" I let him go back to his friends while I went back to mine.

Minutes later John returned to us after finishing talking with the other lanterns.

"Are you okay?" Lantern looked at J'onn before speaking.

"You believed in me when even I didn't." approaching the Flash spoke.

"That's what friends are for" Lantern surprisingly smiled at Flash, a moment later he looked at his glowing ring before pointing it at the sky.

"Let's go home!" A second later the sphere rose into the air, disappearing into space.

Days later, Jump City.

Jump City was having a quiet day, or at least it was until a huge pillar of ice attacked a money truck.

The truck was left with its engine running while a person approached the rear doors.

The attacker was a man dressed in a blue and white winter suit, in his hand he carried a gun from which ice seemed to emanate.

"But look what we have here, easy money" As he shot at the doors freezing them he destroyed them with one blow "It's nice to have a job without that annoying loose mouth Flash."

"Flash would be offended if he heard how you talked about him." Turning quickly, the subject fired his pistol at the origin of the voice, causing a powerful blue beam to hit him squarely.

When he looked at his handiwork he and some civilians found Heatblast encased in a rather thick pillar of ice.

"HA! Just like Flash, all words" Ignoring his work he did not witness how Heatblast's body began to glow causing the ice to begin to melt, a moment later all the ice disappeared in a giant column of fire.

"That wasn't very nice...Commander cold? I don't remember your name" The guy turned around annoyed while listening to me speak.

"It's Captain Cold freak!" Seeing that he was pointing his gun at me, I raised my hands at the exact moment, his freezing beam collided with my flames.

The clash of attacks caused a large amount of steam, however it seemed that the ice weapon was beginning to win over the flames.

"That weapon is quite powerful, unfortunately for Cold so am I." Concentrating, I caused the flames to grow in power and in a few seconds they surpassed the beam.

As a result, the weapon exploded into ice freezing Captain Cold's hand and making him scream.

As I watched him kneel I began to get closer "Okay Captain, it's time for you to go back to jail" Reducing my temperature to a minimum I gave him a backhand that knocked him out.

Having finished walking towards the block of ice to touch it with my flaming hands, I slowly began to increase the temperature.

The result was that the block began to melt little by little, in a matter of a few minutes the truck was on the ground with a giant hole where the engine should be.

Returning to my human form in a flash I approached the cabin of the truck finding the two knocked out guards.

While I began to take them out I heard some patrols approaching, when they arrived at the area they were both outside the truck.

"Omnaz, what a joy to see you here" Looking at the officers I could only point to Captain Cold.

"His name is Captain Cold, he is a villain from Central City, I don't think he would cause problems without his ice weapon" As he spoke they began to help with the guards.

"We understand, we'll take care of it, you can go in case there are more emergencies." Accepting his words, I began to walk towards my motorcycle while talking into my communicator.

"Omnaz to Watchtower, I need communication with Flash" To my surprise it was Batman who answered.

"This is Watchtower, communication in progress." Before the communication was cut off, I decided to ask what he was doing there.

"Thanks, Batman, by the way. Where is J'onn? He usually handles communications." For a moment I thought he wouldn't say anything, but he answered me.

"J'onn, Superman, Lantern, and Wonder Woman responded to the call for help from a Nuclear Submarine" A moment later the communication with the Watchtower ended leaving me in the process of talking to Flash.

"Hello there, Flash speaking! What's going on Omnaz, do you want that race?" Listening to his comment made me roll my eyes as I drove around town.

"No Flash, I just want you to know that Captain Cold attacked Jump City, the police already have him but I don't know if your city will come for him or you" That seemed to surprise Flash.

"Wait Captain Cold's in your city, that just hurt my feelings! I thought what we had was personal" At those words I couldn't help but agree with a little.

"You tell me, I don't have personal villains, only those of one of the League members come here, well forget it if you can, please take care of him, a few days ago I unlocked an alien and I need to train with him" at that revelation Flash got excited.

"New alien! Great, I hope to see you soon, Flash out." Finishing the call, I began to drive towards the city garbage dump.

A few minutes later I was inside the dumpster selecting a new image in the Omnitrix.

"It's kind of ironic who I'm facing considering what I'm going to become." In a flash, my form disappeared.

A week later…

I was taking a short break after saving some people from an earthquake when I heard a police alert that made me let out an annoyed sigh.

"Attention all units, the criminal known as Bane was seen near the city dock, he is not there, just be careful" I now had a little regret for having linked the police radio to my Harley.

As I headed to the area I decided to try and talk to Batman "Omnaz to Batman, do you hear me?" A moment later his voice responded.

"What do you need?" It was easy to talk to Batman when he was so direct.

"Bane was seen in Jump City, any advice" Batman's intercom was silent for a moment.

"He's strong, not at the level of Superman, but unlike him, he knows how to fight, be very careful" Well at least he thought he could beat him.

"Thank Batman, Omnaz out" A few meters from the docks I got out of my vehicle while touching the Omnitrix.

"-Let's see who's stronger.-" In a flash, the huge form of Four Arms was ready to jump.

In one jump I ended up reaching the dock, which was full of people dressed in black with white-painted masks.

"I'll ask you to surrender peacefully" Those who had not seen me had now heard me so they all began to shoot at me without hesitation.

Covering my eyes with one arm, I clapped, causing a shock wave that knocked down most of them. When I was getting ready to jump against a group, a voice stopped me.

"Stop it, I'll take care of the red chico!" Looking for the source I found a thin guy with a black leotard, he wore a black and white mask, the most interesting thing was the glove on his arm which had a red tube that went directly to his head.

"Bane I guess" Waiting for an answer that didn't come I continued "You know I wonder, why are the enemies of my companions coming to a city that they don't care about?" Bane didn't say anything he just smiled as he touched a button on his glove.

In a few moments, his body grew considerably, gaining a lot of muscle, a moment later he jumped towards me.

"Damn" Using two of my arms I stopped him in the air, however, the floor under my feet broke from the force of the blow, before I could return the blow he kicked me causing me to skid a few meters away from him.

"Good resistance, chico," jumping, he attacked me again, however, I moved, intercepting his attack halfway.

The crash caused a small wave, while holding his arms I left him open to a direct blow to the chest, lifting him off the ground, another blow raised him higher.

However, the third he stopped with his leg, although that did not prevent him from flying until he collided with a container, destroying it.

"What do you say about my strength?" A large piece of metal was my only response as I quickly dodged it.

A second later I had Bane running towards me quite quickly, so I couldn't avoid the blow he threw at me, the blow hit me squarely in the face, sending me flying through a container.

Witnesses were shocked to see Four Arms pass through three containers before crashing into a building, collapsing it.

As soon as I tried to cross the wall it lit up for a second and then gave me an electric shock that paralyzed me for a few moments while I screamed in pain.

When I recovered my body was releasing smoke, fearing that someone could enter I turned invisible to quickly escape through the clean door.

"Damn Luthor, he's almost as good as Batman when it comes to long-term plans" As I flew down a large hallway I heard a commotion, moving cautiously to the origin I found Ultra-Humanite fighting Grundy.

Looking at the room I found Batman under an illuminated machine, avoiding the giants I approached until I reached him "-Batman, it's me Ghostfreak, shall I free you?" He only made a small sign letting me understand that no when the elevator rang as it opened.

I quickly hid when I saw Luthor with his accomplice.

"Stop!" The two ignored Luthor as they continued fighting of course until he yelled at them again angrier.

"Morons will kill me faster than kryptonite" they both apologized like two children which almost made me laugh.

As they headed to the elevator Luthor went with Batman "This is your doing, right?! But it won't happen again" Turning around Luthor spoke to Cheetah.

"Take care of him, if our friend causes more problems, finish him off!" Said the woman only showing her claws at Batman as she growled.

When everyone was gone Batman surprised me by trying to talk to Cheetha

"I have a hard time figuring out what an Anthropologist like you is doing with Luthor, Miss Barbara." There was no doubt that Batman was the best with women. In a single sentence, he had captured the woman's attention.

Several minutes later I had already learned Cheetha's story, all thanks to Batman.

However, when he tempted her to kiss him, something in my blood bothered me a little... I hope it was Rath.

A few moments later the kiss broke when Luthor told the woman to come up.

However she did not leave without one last comment "By the way, tell your friend…Rath that I don't want to marry him" With those words the elevator opened allowing Ultra-Humanite to relieve her.

"-I want classes on those Batman techniques-" With a small laugh I floated away from him.

"Ultra-Humanite, how much does Luthor pay you?" Fantastic is another example of Batman's abilities.

Sometime later I found myself in an empty warehouse while I was in my human form, the time of use with Ghostfreak had run out and with our new ally I could leave Batman alone.

While I was resting I was very surprised to hear Grundy's voice next to someone drowning.

"Luthor doesn't want traitors, I must finish you off." Peeking out from my hiding place I discovered that Grundy's victim was nothing more than Cheetha.

"Ok, I blow my cover or save her... hell if I didn't know her story I probably wouldn't do this" Choosing Four Arms I activated the Omnitrix.

However, I got a surprise when I turned into Rath, growling I came out of my hiding place, earning the attention of the two villains.

"Let me tell you something Grundy, why don't you mess with a cat your SIZE" With a powerful scream I jumped on him causing him to let go of Cheetah.

My attacks hit him squarely in the chest, with each blow his huge body began to be lifted into the air.

However Grundy quickly recovered stopping my next blows, the effort of both of us making us grunt.

Unfortunately for Grundy, Rath knew how to fight so with a headbutt I made him let go.

Grabbing him by his clothes I threw him against the wall destroying it, while he was traveling my ears detected another sound, it seemed that the reinforcements had arrived.

Looking down at Cheetha who was still a little disoriented, I gently took her in. "Cheetha, Rath is wondering if you're okay?" Returning his gaze a little more recovered, she answered me.

"Yes, but that doesn't mean I'll marry you" That caused my eyebrows to lower but I ignored the feeling without noticing the change in Cheetha's eyes.

"Rath understands, I heard your talk with Batman" A moment later the noise of Grundy running caused him to growl in annoyance "Hide while Rath finishes off Grundy!"

Getting up I waited for the giant's arrival, when he got close enough I released a powerful roar that was growing in my chest, which caused him to stumble, which I took advantage of to jump on him and hold him by the face.

"LET ME TELL YOU SOMETHING GRUNDY, RATH WILL TAKE OUT ALL HIS WRATH ON YOU TO NOT…NOT OPEN…NO CARE RATH WILL HIT YOU!" Using all my strength I buried his head in the ground, lifting it and repeating the action several times.

With no resistance left, I lifted him before giving him a powerful right hook that ended up knocking him out. Seeing him unconscious on the floor, something caused me to put my foot on him and let out a roar that made the room vibrate.

Leaving him I started looking for Cheetha finding her hiding behind some boxes "Rath finished, ready to go?" She looked at me without getting up.

"I can't walk...I need you to carry me" Seeing no problems, I carried her until I had her settled in my right arm, making sure she couldn't fall, I walked to Grundy to take him by the neck and take him with us.

Minutes later first floor…

When the elevator opened what I found was the majority of the league with all of Luthor's accomplices defeated.

Superman was the first to notice my arrival "Rath I'm glad you're okay, I see you beat Grundy and Cheetha" When Lantern took hold of Grundy I left him however when Wonder Woman tried to take Cheetha I let out an involuntary growl stopping her and gaining attention of all the others.

"Calm down boy, you have to drop me, I'm not worth enough for you to get into trouble" Watching her jump from me to stand next to Wonder Woman my eyebrows lowered, and in a moment of lucidity, I touched the Omnitrix returning to my human form.

[T/N: AWWW! POOR BABY!]

"Rath, he's very difficult to control" Completely tired I sat on the floor ignoring the others.

When the police arrived for the criminals I decided to decline the others' offer to get to Jump City, with what had happened with Rath I needed some time alone, however, I knew that this would be an everyday thing with Rath, at least until I could control myself better.
