44 Chapter 45 - Time passes

A whole two months had passed since he had told the truth to Mitsuri and accepted her as his new lover. They spend that time getting to know each other and developing themselves while improving their skills. 

He had helped improve Shinobu's [ Aura(Rwby) ] in hopes of helping them unlock their own Aura. Ryuu wanted to acquire it for an extra boost in strength and defense. 

The two women had joined the train and were trying to acquire magic much to their frustration. Despite deciding to quit the demon slayer corp, Kanae wanted to assist her sister in the future advantage that would soon come. 

Ryuu already explained that the possibility of fighting and going on adventures to explore other worlds had made interested to see the wonders along with Mitsuri. 

Now that they've spent a whole year inside the dimensional room where they've been improving their relationship. It was entertaining since Kanae always teased the two girls causing them to cling to Ryuu sides. 

He already got closer to Kanae to treat her as his unofficial fourth lover. Ryuu was living the life but hadn't crossed the line, deciding to take things slow. 

"Ryuu-kun!! I'm finally done it!?"

Ryuu was doing his own spar with Kanae who gave pointers in the Flower breathing that he wanted to mix to the singular breathing style. He had decided that it was far simpler to just make into one.

He called it [ Breath of the God eater ] as majority his technique and magic was in the form of devouring flesh. Ryuu found the name was closer to home for an unusual reason. 

It would become stronger once he visited Kamado family and learned how to breathe the Sun breathing. Ryuu halted his spar to flash towards Shinobu who had been meditating along with Mitsuri.

"Me too!!! I learn magic!!"

He was a bit surprised to hear Mitsuri gain magic the same time as Shinobu yet was way far ahead when she started. Shinobu frowned that Mitsuri was faster than her and slightly disappointed. 

Ryuu felt something was wrong and quickly understood her emotion. He quickly smiled before caressing her head and kissing his cheek that made Mitsuri slightly jealous before receiving her own.

"You look disappointed. Don't worry, the reason was quick because the magic method we use tied in emotion which strangely enough is Love."

He find it stupid that in the world of Fairy tail that the Origin of all magic was simply Love. It was the ultimate power of friendship that made him annoyed where the plot armor is thicker than a bowl of oatmeal. 

Importantly, the dimensional room doesn't have any thicker Mana and had the same as the one outside therefore her speed was comparable to a genius. 

Shinobu calms down, feeling the affection that Ryuu gives by embracing her. She's happier that she was receiving this treatment than Mitsuri where she looks at her and smirks.

"Ryuu-san me too!! Pat my head and kiss me!!"

She was pouting that made Ryuu warily smile before doing as she was told while Kanae giggled seeing him struggle to keep up with them. Reap what you sow. 

"Fufufu congratulations, Shinobu-chan. Tell me what kind of magic did you gain? Ryuu explains that it is based on our compatibility in certain elements.."

Kanae was curious about what the outcome was and witnessed Shinobu making liquid from her hands that floated in the air where it dripp into the grass causing it to die. 

"A poison magic? It fits you perfectly. Can you make any kind of poison? Or is it just to fix one? Also can you make an antidote for your poison?"

"I don't know but I'll try."

Ryuu nodded, letting her run experiments with her newfound magic hoping that she would be able to quickly grow proficient in using them. He turned his attention to Mitsuri and found what kind of magic she gained. 

"What about you, Mitsuri?"

"Well I saw those lights you've talking about and look at this!"

She showed her a small particle dust shining from her hand and popped her chest as if saying 'praise me!'. Ryuu recalled in the anime what kind of magic she gained.

"Fairy Magic? I've seen it before and the ability is quite simple. The magic user produces a peculiar substance from their body: thin, light and shiny dust. Such matter or light is placed under the person's control, with them being able to manipulate it to their every whim, making it float in the air in wide arcs. Through its use, the user is capable of carrying out a variety of Magic attacks. The dust is shown to possess explosive properties, with a relatively small amount of it being capable of producing fierce explosions. In addition, larger amounts of it can be shaped into objects of various sizes, again usable for offense."

Ryuu explains the majority of how it functions that made Mitsuri incredibly excited to train her newfound magic along with Shinobu still testing out the limits of her magic. It took sometimes until she was able to fully test what her magic was capable of.

The magic would be extremely versatile if she is able to make poison that counter other poison which essentially makes the antidote. 

"Ryuu-kun, it seems that I'm able to make a counter poison that is able to act as an antidote."

"That's amazing! Maybe you can also mold it into a shape like I do."

Ryuu showed his magic receiving a nod from Shinobu who tried training in molding the poison and tried molding it into her sword. She is able to make corrosive poison that cuts through any organic materials. 

"Look! Whoa!! I can fly!! Ryuu-san! Ryuu-san!!"

Mitsuri was flowing an inch from the ground before flying through the air and Ryuu was surprised at how easily she was using her magic.

Shinobu didn't want to be left behind and tried molding wings from her back making sure the poison wasn't potent. It took several moments before flapping her wings. 

"You can fly too!? Amazing!! Magic is a lot of fun!!"

"Careful, you might run out of magical energy if you overuse it."

Ryuu is afraid that they might fall and get injured by accidentally overexerting themselves. Even if they hardly feel the pain, he dislikes the idea of his lover suddenly falling and getting hurt. 

"You worry too much, Ryuu-kun. Just let them have fun. Anyway, I'll also try my best to get magic!"

Kanae giggled seeing Ryuu's troubled face before embracing to calm him down who looked at her a bit embarrassed since it was just his nature. 

She's a bit jealous that his sister's were ahead of her but still happy that they achieved what they wanted knowing how hard they were training for. 

"Oh right, Shinobu, can you help me with something?"

Shinobu heard from above quickly descended and dispelled her poison. She kept in mind that her poison could accidentally affect other people since it doesn't give her control who is affected. 

The best she could do is place the poison into her blade to have a single place to put her magic. 

"What is it, Ryuu-kun?"

"You've already gotten used to [ Aura(Rwby) ] and wondered if you were able to unlock our aura."

Shinobu nodded before listening to Ryuu's instruction to try spreading her Aura around him in hope to seep into his soul. It was slow but she was able to feel his soul that slightly made her shiver.

"What is this? I-I feel something but I'm not sure what it is?"

"That's probably my soul or my Aura. Try speaking these words."

Ryuu held her shoulder to calm her down as he could feel something seeping into his body that was difficult to describe. Shinobu memorized the words that Ryuu spoke and began to incant.

"For it is in passing that we achieve immortality. Through this we become a paragon of virtue and glory to rise above all, infinite in distance and unbound by death. I release your soul and by my shoulder protect thee."

She said before a bright blood red with darkness burst from Ryuu's body like a vicious flame burning around his body. They were mesmerized by his aura as it drew them in and somehow made him more attractive. 

[You have unlocked Aura(Rwby) ]

"Are you alright, Shinobu?"

"I-I'm fine but I feel exhausted for some reason."

Ryuu could see her feeling sluggish and without hesitation carried her in bridal carry much to her embarrassment but rolled with it and wrapped her arms around him enjoying being spoiled much to Mitsuri frustration.

"No fair! I want to be spoiled too!"

"Ara~ are you making us jealous, Shinobu-chan?"

Ryuu wondered if after a whole year of being together had made Mitsuri more bold and demanding but shrugged it off only making a sweet smile as they headed into the cabin.
