Chapter 223 - Interview?

Reading the content and openined the Chat group while his other self brought Styx to the other girls began to chat with the others. He went to his Divine realm throne room and read the message. He was a bit surprised that he'll be the only one allowed to do the mission and read the content. 

[ Exhibitionist: From the way I see, this mission basically says have another woman join your harem, am I wrong? ]

He could see that she was teasing him and just chuckled reading the message and saw Lucifer message that read.

[ Pancake Lover: I don't see any problem with that, I've seen many men having thousand of woman and it's natural a strong man to have a lot of consort. ]

Lucifer having a different point of view in how the relationship works while Ryuu shook his head while he saw Erza's message.

[ Titania: Well, we wish you the best of Luck, Ryuu. ]

He nodded and saw Iroh's message.

[ Tea lover: You have an ever growing group lover huh? I do wish for you to not fail any of them as it is a tragedy to break a maiden's heart. ]

Ryuu nodded at Iroh's words and said

[ Simp for Makima: I will not fail and it will be the last thing I want. I've been busy building the perfect personal world using my power for everyone that is important to me. ]

Iroh read his words from the other side of the screen and hoped at least his niece would fall for a man like him who seemed to give his all for them. He hadn't met personally and wished to do so if he got the chance and rightfully judged him. Rias then said.

[ Exhibitionist: You're making me miss you even more, Ryuu! Hope we can meet soon! ]

He chuckled reading her message and said

[ Simp for Makima: I am too, and if I ever come to your world the second I get the chance then I'll propose to you.]

Rias blushed at the other side of the screen and forgot that she was not alone where her friend noticed it and playfully smiled and said.

"Ara~ are you talking to your boyfriend, Buchou~?"

She blushed even harder, making Akeno more curious about her boyfriend since she had changed ever since that person came.  She would be lying that she wasn't jealous that her friend had someone to make her smile and genuinely happy everyday. Rias composed herself and said.

"Stop teasing me, Akeno. And yes, I am talking to him and what is it to you?"

Akeno smiled even more and said.

"Ara~ no need to be jealous, I am just curious that's all. Wait, don't tell me you're scared that I might take him from you~?"

Rias rolled her eyes and crossed her arms and said.

"Of course not and feel free to try flirting with him once you see him."

She didn't feel jealous since his women were fun to be around and being from the older era, Shinobu and kimetsu no Yaiba girls taught her more about Japan culture. Akeno was caught off guard by her words and was now dying to know who this mysterious boyfriend that her king has a relationship with. 

Akeno knows that she has grown stronger but hasn't found a concrete answer and is just based on her womanly intuition. She teasingly smiled and said.

"If that's the case then don't back on your words once I meet him."

She giggled while walking away while Rias just rolled her eyes and returned to the chat group and saw Ryuu's message.

[ Exhibitionist: Be honest with Ryuu, are you also planning on getting the others to join your harem? ]

Reading her message made him rub his chin feeling guilty for taking advantage of what he knows about their life and the trauma that comes with it. Ryuu feels that he is unfair to them if he suddenly tries to flirt with them using what he knows. 

He had read many fanfic who felt guiltless and entitled that what they are doing doesn't have any evil in them. Every intention, even how small, has evil in them and this is the reason it is rare for Ryuu to find a person who is pure of heart. Ryuu decided to be honest and said.

[ Simp for Makima: Frankly, I do like everyone but it would be unfair of me to take advantage of what I know to get closer to them which is why I am unsure about it. Regardless, I am willing to help them if needed because they are your friends. ]

Ryuu perhaps did in the past when everything seemed fake and when he slowly understood they are people felt guilty if he used his knowledge in taking their trauma to his advantage.

On the other side of the screen, Rias smiled softly at his honesty and how despite his power along with everything still remained humble and considered others rather than feeling selfish. She felt that now that her fate changed the other would as well and won't be able to be happy like she does.

Rias won't be lying that she's worried of losing to her friends but that quickly wash away knowing what kind of man Ryuu is. He can be flawless if he wants but chooses to be flawed and that makes it better than being flawless. She looked at her friends who were training and doing their best to better themselves, began to took deep breath and replied with.

[ Exhibitionist: I think now that you've change my future then it likely change theirs and as their friends and king, I want you take ehem and shower them with the love you give me. ]

Ryuu was a bit a surprised when he read her message and was worried that she was doing this because of him and saw the next message.

[ Exhibitionist: If you are thinking that I'm doing this for you no, I want my friends to be happy and move on and the only way I see it is through you that's why I want you to make them fall you. ]

The others just read it and Erza seems to start to consider Ryuu since she also has feelings for him because of how dependable he can be and never acted as if he knows them. Erza understands his character and wants to try to open her heart to him yet always tries to avoid it because there's still things holding her back.

'One day…perhaps I can be like them.'

She had failed many people and now she wants to prove herself if she could truly be happy once her burden is lifted. Meanwhile, Iroh saw the text and could help but laughed and said,

[ Tea Lover: Young man, you are truly a kind child. I believe the love that this woman gives you is well earned. Perhaps….you can change my niece's path? ]

Ryuu dumbfounded and wanted to jump from the cliff seeing that at this point they are giving message interviews! 

He matured from his old self who was delusional in having harem but now that he has achieved it, Ryuu doesn't want to lose them and bring them sorrow. Ryuu's only option is to do his best for them without forgetting his mistakes. 

His other self is already being beaten with a tsinelas when he mentions that he is going on another mission and warned by his mother to avoid taking too many which is impossible. 

[ Simp for Makima: you mean Azula? Are you sure about it? I do understand her story and life but I'm afraid to take advantage of her. ]

[ Tea lover: No need to worry, I know once she falls in love with you then I can rest in the right hands. Oh, it seems I need to go. Hope to meet you soon, young man. ]

After a while, they left the chat group and Ryuu stood up from his throne cracking his neck and began to open the portal to his next mission. Ryuu decided to give one last remark before he departed and said.

"Guess it's time to….let it go…hahaha"
