Chapter 148 - Jeju Island Raid 2
Ryuu spun around like it was an attack on Titan slicing the ants to pieces. Everyone was able to eliminate a large chunk of the ants army within a few minutes after the raid had started. He watched as Nezuko incinerated the ants with her extremely powerful flame that even Choi Jong-In couldn't compare.
Jin woo and Trese compete in getting more soldiers to their army and the difference between the two is that the latter didn't spend mana as most are ghosts and linger around her instead.
Not mentioned, her magic allows her to control shadows turning them into sharp objects like Pride from full metal alchemy. She easily wins against Jin woo in terms of versatility as a shadow user.
When everything seemed going smoothly was when the whole island shook from the magic that was just released. Hae-in's face became pale, unable to withstand the amount of mana coming. She may have improved but certainly there's still a limit. Kei, the Japanese hunter with similar condition as Cha Hae-in had already passed out because of the intense mana smell.
He can see the disbelief on their face as it was something they hadn't felt before.It was a mental attack that would affect those that are weaker than the user of the spell even Jin-woo was affected by this
'The monarch obviously did something. Everyone, be ready! Help the other hunters retreat!"
Ryuu relay his message with Kie using her magic to ease the pressure helping the weaker hunters to withstand the attack.

He yelled out shifting his vocal course to increase its volume and they all started running away at the top speed. But the black blur appeared in front of Hae-in trying to kill her.
Ryuu frowned, then used [ Space Shundo ] to appear close to Hae-in and tried to attack the Ant King but it managed to evade.
And he wasn't fighting me head-on, rather ran away from him and attacked others and wanted to bring down the numbers, this time he went for Tawata.
"Annoying…."
Ryuu had been holding back since he didn't want the monarch to see his power but now it changed. He blitzes close to the Ant King and strikes it with immense force that crack the space like white beard breaking its exoskeleton where its guts fell out yet manage to heal itself.
'Now this is personal, everyone don't help me.'
Ryuu told the girls who went closer to watch the fight while the other hunters fled the scene.
The strength of the Ant King was amplified by several folds and at least close or above a Grand Marshall strength. The Ant King screeched once again causing the hunters that were running fell because of it. They were struggling to breathe while Jin-Woo stood up and Hae-in stood back after him. With Tawata struggling to stand up as she was on her knees.

It said in monster language before the ant king rushed to attack him with its Claws and swiped it on his head. He stepped back and dodged it then used his katana to attack him with a Horizontal swing. He cut off his arms and left a cut on his chest, spraying blood into Ryuu's face.
The Ant King jumped back as he regenerated his lost limb almost instantly.
This time he used his wings to speed and attack him with a punch head-on.
'Now that is the last you should be doing in front of me.'
He thought as shifted his muscle and punched the incoming fist head-on causing a powerful shockwave pushing everything even the nearby building but the sheer force blew off the ant king's arm which he regenerated immediately.

He shouted again as he used the wings on his back to increase his speed and attack him with full power from different directions. He was deflecting his attacks with his swords while also cutting off his limbs and leaving deep cuts on his body while controlling his breath to make it look like he was getting tired.
"RYUU!!"
He can hear Hae-in screaming behind while trying to come here. Jin-woo and Tawata were the same. The Japanese huntress was surprised that Ryuu was fighting that monster on equal footing.
The shockwaves from their fight cause the S rank hunter to struggle to even watch the fight. However, they saw Ryuu's group and everyone was built differently.
"Aren't you going to help him?"
Tawata asked, glancing at Justine and the others who were helping by eliminating the other ants.
"Nope, we understand his strength and he is holding back. Watch."
Justine said as Tawata jawdrop doubted her words then heard Ryuu shouted.
"Stay back there, don't come here."
When they heard his voice they were gritting their teeth as they couldn't help him at this moment but trusted his abilities since he wasn't even taking any action.
Then the ant king attacked him with his stinger that was full of poison and it landed on his body.
'Hmmm, it's nothing special, did you even try.'
He thought as he let the poison spread a bit while making his breathing heavy. Ryuu was the master of plague and this nothing when the nurgle can concoct even stronger one inside his [ Plague inner world ].

He shouted in delight seeing Ryuu on his knees. Ryuu could feel Klavigar Orok being offended and ready to strike his enemy but told not to.

He vanished before the Ant King could even react and was sliced where he couldn't even regenerate, placing his parasite that eats away flesh.

Ryuu had improved it and now the potent was enough to eat away like the current Ant King.

A tanned man with long hair appeared behind Hae-in and attacked her with his hand that was like a beast's claw. Everyone except the Ryuu group who caught a glimpse and immediately prepared was stunned as this was too sudden and they weren't even able to react.
'Am I going to die? Is this going to be my end? We haven't even...'
She was looking at the approaching Beasts claw she saw familiar back in front of her. And she saw him swing his sword towards the tanned man. And as he was about to attack the Tanned man. She was able to react when she saw a man with blue skin and white hair appear behind him and used his dagger towards him.

The blue-skinned man grinned as he twisted the dagger making a deeper wound.
"NOOOOOOOOOO"
She shouted as tears followed out her eyes. But Ryuu felt their weapon dug into his body. However, this was enough as Ryuu pushed them with his [ Daemon Blood Emperor Magic ] since they use their physical body.
"Everyone, retreat!"
Ryuu spread his power then used spatial teleportation taking all hunters into the boat outside the island while the Monarch stepped back watching their new enemy. He was running out of mana because of it but didn't care as everyone of his members stood beside him ready to strong hands against their enemy.
"Spatial lock!"
He then sealed the entire island in order for the monarch not to escape, shocking them a bit then calming down.

The Tanned muscular man said releasing his magical energy that sends waves through space that manifest as a massive beast. This was the monarch of the beast.

Spoke by an old man with long pointed ear and long white hair wearing a ragged outfit released a powerful wave of magical energy as well as freezing the mana around him.

A beautiful woman wearing a carapace outfit with long black hair and red eyes summoning a small insect was also releasing her magic.
