Chapter 112 - Chairman

As the group were having their meal, a car stopped in front of the BBQ restaurant surprising the people when a man wearing a suit and shades exited the vehicle and he then went inside sensing the person he was looking for and find the room where he spotted Ryuu who was eating with his group as the man slowly walked towards them.

"Excuse me, are you Ryuu Cinco?"

He asked staring at the young man who he couldn't pinpoint his power as it already confirmed that his an S Rank Hunter but seeing him up close made him as if something was crawling under his skin even more interesting is the people around him sensing their power having a group that are easily A rank with only weakest being a B Rank which was Kie. 

Kie is more support type that is why her power isn't the greatest but she is still someone not to mess with especially how she can increase her power by buffing herself with spells. 

"That's my name, who you might be?"

He stared at him that made the man flinch since his entire vibe is different as if he's primal urge telling him not to fight him but manage to keep his composure and bow before introducing himself. 

"I'm Woo Jinchul, an inspector from Hunter Guild association."

Woo Jinchul finished introducing himself to Ryuu who just silently ate his food. He knew that this is eventually going to happen and this exactly what he wanted to do. 

"Then what does someone like you want from me? Does the news already reach you?"

"I'll be brief, someone wishes to meet you up with you."

He didn't try to hide his intention and gave his answer. Ryuu sighed when he was just enjoying his meal and everyone decided to just go.

"Alright, you girls can go ahead and go back home before me. This might take a while."

Ryuu stood up receiving a nod from the girls as he went with Woo Jinchul entering his vehicle before leading him to the Hunter Guild association. Woo Jinchul stopped in front of a room, He opened the room and said.

"The chairman of the Korean hunters Association Go Gun-Hee is waiting for you inside."

"Why so serious?" 

He said to him as Ryuu went inside and saw an old man who by no means looked old. Go Gun-hee is a muscular old man with gray hair, greenish-gray eyes, and numerous scars on his body. As he was a high-ranking government official, he was usually seen wearing a three-piece suit.

The S-rank Hunter called "The Sky Above Skies", Go Gun-hee. Discovering Ryuu, Go Gun-hee rose from his seat.

"Ryuu Cinco?"

"Yes, my name is Ryuu Cinco." 

He said, showing a slight smile while seeing his [ Aura ] that could only be described as Bright. A light that shines even on the brightest day. It was not blinding, rather comforting. 

'Even while being so powerful he has a humble personality. He is the reason the guilds are kept in check. But…' 

He activated his [ Byakugan ] and saw his body on the verge of falling apart. 

If it was someone else they would have died years ago but he is still working despite that condition, this is the consequence of using a Ruler's power and being a Ruler's vessel. He looked at his right hand. He was surprised when he saw him looking there and he smiled.

"You can see my situation at a glance. I'm impressed," 

He said, smiling brightly.

"I just have good eyes that's all,"

He said, shaking my head. He nodded. And Jin-Chul who stood behind Go Gun-Hee.

"So what do you think about my situation?" 

The old man asked.

"You don't have much time. The only thing holding your body together is pure will and nothing else."

He said plainly without beating around the bush. Jin-Chul was gritting his teeth while looking down.

"Hmm, well everything comes to an end, isn't that right? Hunter-Nim"

He said, smiling softly.

"I am not a hunter yet,"

He said since he still hadn't gotten his license yet beside his girls since A rank is much easier to be created. 

"Oh, That's just to buy some time for us to meet the hunters before the guilds do."

He said without hiding anything.

"Ok then, what would chairman Go would like to talk to me about?"

He started talking about the guilds and the association's purpose like he did with Jin woo. While that was happening, Ryuu was analyzing if it weren't as possible to save him somehow. 

"Do you want to join the Association? The salary won't be as high as the guilds can offer. But you will have my Backing. What do you think?"

He asked. Go Gunhee's face turned very serious,

"Most importantly the Association needs Hunter Cinco-nim."

'A man wielding a powerful strength like you.'

The elder's eyes became keen, sensing something great despite his dreadful atmosphere.

'Well, time will tell what kind of a man you are…'

As long as Ryuu said "yes", the association president had no qualms about supporting him with everything he had. That was the value of the S-rankers.

"I refused."

Which shocked Go Gun-Hee thinking that it was the same as the other.

'Is it about money after all?'

"Why did you refuse?" 

He asked wanting to know the 

reason behind this.

"I would rather fight magic beasts," 

Then leaving him dumbfounded he continued since my words didn't explain what he wanted properly.

"I would rather be on the frontline than argue with some old bats. who only think of their profits and measure their dick as if little children, not seeing the bigger picture."

Ryuu said as he sent him my message. He was shocked at first and then…

"HAHAHA, Old bats looking for personal gains. An accurate description. AHAHA,"  

He felt his heartbeat vigorously like 

He was a young man again.

"Ok, I understand," 

He said as he understood what the kid 

wanted to convey to him. As an elder, he can see the look in the eyes of this kid that he isn't lying.

"Actually, there are things I want to talk about with Chairman Go privately."

Ryuu glanced at Woo Jinchul with Go Gun-Hee nodding telling him to wait outside. He reluctantly agreed as Ryuu was now alone with Go Gun-Hee. 

"We're alone, feel free to tell me anything and I'll try my best to do it. I am deeply grateful for reawakening my youthful heart."

He smiled, doing his best to make Ryuu comfortable. Ryuu nodded and said.

"Firstly, everything that I'm about to tell you is to remain secret since it regards the future of humanity in this world."

Ryuu showed a serious expression, making Go Gun-Hee nod curious about what he meant by this world. He was willing to share this because Go Gun-Hee is one of his favorite characters and how he could be explored a little better. 

"I swear that whatever you are about to tell me, stay in this room."

Go Gun-Hee firmly said, receiving a nod from Ryuu.

"Then can please take my hand and make sure to relax as it would be difficult to bypass your resistance."

Ryuu said since he is unable to use [ Hypnosis ] as Go Gun-Hee. The old man did as told and soon received the memories and events in the future. He was shocked to see how his death would have played out if he hadn't met Ryuu. 

"My word, this just made things quite interesting. To think you're willing to share this knowledge with me means you trust me quite a lot."

"Yes, but I'm surprised you're willing to accept it."

"I know what a lie is and what you've shown is not one of them."

Ryuu nodded as Go Gun-Hee processed what he just witnessed.

"Now, that's not the only thing I'll do for you."

He took out [ Rebellion ] surprising Go Gun-Hee who felt the sword was truly out of this world. 

"What is this sword?"

"It's called [ Rebellion ] from one of many worlds. This weapon's main ability is to unify something, a counterpart to its other half. Hope you trust me enough to stab you because once I do that then the fragment in your soul will completely fused allowing you to reach your true potential and fight again."

Go Gun-hee taken aback by his words and now eager to retain some power to become a Hunter again to enjoy the thrill of it. 

"I trust you because you trusted me."

He nodded as Ryuu stabbed him in the chest with Go Gun-Hee accepted it without hesitation.
