69 Chapter 69 - Scolding

While his lovers were having their time getting to know each other, Ryuu took the children to watch some television. They were intrigued upon seeing the small box that was able to let them watch people.

Ryuu played some old versions of Tom and Jerry which was the best. He vaguely remembers the time when he would go out of his way to watch some of them in his neighbor's home since at the time they didn't have the luxury to have one.

That show held a sentimental value in his life and wanted to share it with the children.

"Tanjiro, if you need anything I'll just be in the kitchen and call me when you need help."

"Alright, Ryuu-Nii!"

He nodded leaving them be after taking one last glance at the children who were hooked on the show. Ryuu smiled before heading to the kitchen to start cooking their lunch.

"Now I wonder what I should cook? Pasta? Roasted chicken?"

He rubbed his chin thinking of what would be good food as a welcoming feast. Ryuu leaned back pondering his decision since there were numerous dishes he could cook that it was difficult to decide.

"Oh! Hot Pot would be nice!!"

Decided their meal since a Hot Pot would be perfect for a large crowd of people. Ryuu created clones to help him cook and it was an opportunity that his blood magic didn't have any smell or taste unless it came from a natural source.

"Hmmm for dessert, maybe some Leche Flan and pudding. Shinobi does love Leche Flan."

Ryuu remembers her reaction when she tried Leche Flan and never before did he see someone finishing at least five of it in a matter of seconds. That's why he decided to only serve it on occasion since he's afraid of Shinobi dying from diabetes even if he knew it wouldn't happen.

He let the clone do the work as he's going to integrate with these new skills that he obtains after saving the Kamado. Ryuu felt his mind was rearranged and after a few minutes finally acquired the new skill.

[ You have acquired Mind Palace and Hypnosis. ]

His iris changes into more pulsating glowing mystic eyes. Ryuu's awareness and perception were enhanced to the point that he could see things similar to deja vu. This was a combination of Hypnosis, Intuition and Byakugan.

He was confused why it decided that his eye would be the focal point of Hypnosis and decided on their description.

Ryuu finds the ability to be useful when it comes to getting an answer or taking advantage of people.

[ Mind Palace ]

[ Description: The power to create/use memory palace. Not to be confused with Memory World Creation. The user can create/use memory palace, a method of memory enhancement that uses visualization to organize and recall information. The items to be remembered in this mnemonic system are mentally associated with specific physical locations. The method relies on memorized spatial relationships to establish, order, and recollect memorial content. ]

He smiled upon gaining a way to better organize his memories since it is difficult when numerous memories are being stored and never deleted. In this way, he would instantly recall those important details that he needs.

'Alright, this shouldn't take a while.'

Ryuu visualizes his memory manipulating them, imagining a large database folder to be organized, and using his [ High-Speed Thought Processing ] with [ Parallel Thought Processing ] to easily finish putting everything together.

He was too engrossed with fixing his memory and turned to see the time hadn't moved that much. Ryuu decided to let the clone do the work and went outside to practice his Shundo.

"Something seems different….i wonder if I mix Shunpo, Soru, and body flick what would be the result?"

Normally, when you move would leave a trail of dust but when using Shundo you're moving just to appear instant even though there is still movement in between point A to Point B.

'I wonder if I could share this skill with others?'

Ryuu thought about his lovers who would benefit if they were able to move this fast. He would have happily shared it with the other member-only if he was the same as in the past.

His action was so naive and careless that he was fortunate that they weren't horrible people. Though, he knew that there wasn't danger with his Intuition.

"Let's see if I added [ Death step ] with Shundo and Koku undo."

Ryuu took a stance placing his strength under his feet, adding [ Shundō ]. He made a terrible mistake only then that his intuition told him something was wrong when he took a step.

Crash!

His speed was too fast and didn't think to increase his perception to avoid crashing into the trees. Ryuu laid on a large boulder with his clothes all tattered after crashing into several trees.

If it weren't for his [ Rapid Regeneration ] then his body would have been permanently mangled. Ryuu wasn't even angry, just annoyed at what happened.

'Note to myself, if I get a new skill, try to think before acting. I need to hurry back before-'

He thought to himself letting his body heal for several minutes and tried to return before the girls arrived but unfortunately for his luck.

"Ryuu, are you alright!?" His woman went to checked what's going on.

'Just my luck!'

Ryuu warily smiled looking at Shinobu face popping veins and giving him a neutral smile but her aura appeared like an Oni mask.

"H-Hi, girls…." Ryuu nervously said.

"What happened here? Are you alright, Ryuu?"

Kie moved her way to him since she could see Ryuu stuck in the large boulder though his expression was completely different than what it should be. He decided to ignore Shinobu's terrified gaze and focus on Kie.

"I'm fine, I just made a little mistake."

"Little!? How can that be little when your body crashed in a boulder!"

Nezuko cried out scared that he may have gotten hurt, which made Ryuu smile that she was worried about him and a bit guilty, making them worried.

"Care to tell us what happened?"

Misturi asked, trying to calm the situation since Shinobu was full of scolding expressions.

"Well, I've tested a new ability but uhm…I didn't think I would be this fast that I couldn't react quick enough."

Ryuu was avoiding the insect Hashira wrath as she was glaring at him for not being careful. Ever since she became more open about her feeling return back to how she was in her youth.

"Ara~ good luck surviving Shinobu-chan's scolding."

"Uhmm…."

Kanae giggled looking at Ryuu who had a pleading expression but it was too late when he tried to escape as Shinobu grabbed her by the shoulder.

'Shiiiiiit!!!!!' Ryuu cursed.

"Ryuuuuuu-kuuuun."

Ryuu purposely sweating as if some yandere was behind him. In the end, he was scolded nonstop for several minutes, which made him like a defeated puppy while Nezuko and Kie felt sorry but they somehow understood where Shinobu was coming from.

"Shinobu, I think it's fine. Ryuu obviously understands his mistake." Kie said trying to calm her down.

'My Kie you're an angel!!'

He saw the light in the form of Kie's grace as Shinobu scolding could last for weeks on end. Shinobu was still frowning but sighed.

"You won't be as lucky next time. Just make sure to be careful next time even though we know your strength doesn't mean you would forget about us."

Shinobu wanted to show they weren't some woman to be treated as a gentle creature and are here to help him. Ryuu nodded since he planned to bring them to grow strong alongside him.

"I promised. But seriously, it's an accident since my stupid intuition only warns me at the last second." Ryuu said to her.

"Anyway, Ryuu, we've been told about a few things and we decided to stay by your side. So please help us gain magic and power."

Nezuko said, resolutely wanting to be like Mitsuri who can do unbelievable things and fight alongside him. Ryuu smiled nodding and was glad with her answer.

"I am the same as my daughter. Though, I don't want to fight but I still want to try."

Kie said not wanting to hurt anyone but desire to help them would pave way to help them. He moves closer to them and embraces the two tightly.

"Thank you, I'm glad you'd stay by my side and Kie you don't need to fight. Their magic doesn't focus on fighting."

Ryuu explained since he understood that magic is based on personality and Kie would likely have life or some enchanting magic.
