He decided to put it aside and headed his way to a nearby forest. Soon enough, Ryuu finds himself in an open area in the forest far away from civilization.
After pondering for a while, Ryuu contemplated ways to utilize his magic. With a focused intention, he opened his palm, causing a strange, mucus-like substance to ooze forth.
'Woah, this is my magic?'
He found the sensation of his mana and small amount of his blood that molded the magic. Ryuu has a hard time describing what it is like to wield magic that he currently possesses.
Each attempt to reshape it proved more challenging than anticipated, with stubborn resistance met at every turn.
Despite his efforts, the object adamantly refused to conform to his desired form, requiring an exhausting expenditure of mana to maintain even a semblance of the shape he sought.
'This is a lot harder than memorizing algebra….still it's a lot more fun though.' Ryuu felt the sudden drill imagining how far he'll be able to make the magic grow.
It was rapidly consuming both his Health and Mana. A small part was his real blood while the majority was Mana. He soon surrounded his hand with a thick layer of blood turning into armor that soon reshaped back to liquid form.
'It's quite hard to remain visualizing its shape. If only I had a Molding magic type that would make it a lot easier. Wait, what if I could do it!?'
Ryuu thought about Gray from Fairy Tail who used Ice magic combined with Molding magic that helped permanently shape the object.
Molding Magic allows the user to mold or create something by concentrating their Magic Power into their hands, like an element, into different shapes or forms.
If the user uses both of their hands in molding an element, they can create an accurate form of their element. Casting one-handed is easier, but it is a less stable form of molding, and may result in less powerful creations.
That is what the wiki page that he looked up. Ryuu nodded before trying to hold out his hand in hopes of forming blades and weapons.
At first, he made simple structures like spheres and triangles which made it easier to solidify using two hands.
However, Ryuu decided it was better to only use one hand to mold the blood to have more flexibility, which In turn, made the process much quicker.
After trial and error, Ryuu discovered a few things about his [ Blood Magic ] namely his ability to telekinetically control them and might even control other people's blood.
Furthermore, the maximum amount that he could conjure was roughly 10 to 30 soccer ball size blood before running out. Though it constantly increased every time he pushed himself similar to a muscle.
The reason why the magic needed a small amount of his blood was to recognize the material of what the mana should become. Mana in the surrounding is Raw energy with physical materials is needed to easily convert it.
Of course, Ryuu could mentally picture what blood is compose but it would take a lot more concentration than just using a piece of his blood.
'Let me try replicating it with the Kagune from Tokyo Ghoul.'
After resting for 2 hours, Ryuu stood up and concentrated on trying to create something. He soon produces fresh blood from behind his back while remaining unmoving and breathing in a rhythmic pattern.
He created roughly 4 spherical blood behind him that soon started to get elongated reaching several meters with a maximum thickness of soccer ball similar to Kaneki's Kagune.
The blood tail moved to point in front, having an extreme point tip that instantly moved towards a nearby tree and pierce it straight to the solid object.
"Nice, it seems a lot easier to control it, seemingly attached to me or closer to my body."
He soon experimented more with his ability having near endless application even created several arms appearing like an Asura God. The more he trained the easier it was to create more solid objects that could move far away from him.
Ryuu thought of something and gave deep concentration that slowly produced a large amount of blood from behind him that slowly reshaped and turned into Blood Wings.
"Oh damn! I always wanted to fly in the air. Let's see what this baby could do?"
He soon flapped the blood wings that created a powerful gust of wind that pushed him upward. Ryuu widely grinned seeing the outcome before flapping more until he flew straight into the sky.
At first, it was difficult to control and stir, taking roughly an hour and half before getting a hang of it. It was amazing how he is able to easily learn something that he only recently learned.
He is unsure how he fair to other mages that started but Ryuu was certain that he was above the minority due to how easily he was able to learn things.
"Wooooahahaha this is fucking awesome!!"
Ryuu gleefully said, screaming high in the sky, feeling the strong wind around his body. He was in an altitude that should have made him feel a slight discomfort yet none of it was happening.
In addition he was far above that there won't be anyone to see him, not to mention cities like Manila that had dense pollution made the sky darken making it difficult to see him.
He concluded it may be due to his newfound body strength after acquiring Mana that was enough to protect him. His physical body surpassed human limits and was capable of surviving harsh environments that no normal human could hope to survive.
His speed was relative to a speeding horse from just flapping his wings and gliding in the air. Ryuu could see the city scrape from below. He flapped his wings and glided through the sky conserving his energy.
'Hmm? Oh, Mom is texting me.'
He then felt his new phone was ringing and found his mother's name in the contact list. Ryuu had already placed his SIM card into the phone. Ryuu was ecstatic when he discovered that it had unlimited load in every service.
[ Ryuu: Sup mom? ]
[ Mom: Ryuu, I just want to check up on you since you didn't return home yesterday and today. Did something happened? ]
[ Ryuu: It's nothing, I just recently got a job and it pays quite a lot. ]
[ Mom: A job you say? What kind of Job are you doing? ]
[ Ryuu: That's a secret hehehe. Just trust me, Mom. And no it's not illegal like drugs and shit. You know how I despise that after what it did to my big brother!? ]
[ Mom: I know…just make sure to be careful and not be fooled, okay? ]
[ Ryuu: I promise. Well, I'll head home tomorrow since I'm still working. ]
[ Mom: Alright, see you tomorrow, Son, love you. ]
[ Ryuu: Love you too. ]
Ryuu hangs up while nervously thinking about how he told her about having a job. He didn't have any way of telling them to get the money but needed to eventually give them some of it. He just randomly decided to just lie about having a job.
What's done is done, Ryuu put it aside and just enjoyed the wind witnessing the sun setting. The sight was unbelievably beautiful that he snapped a photo of it.
Ryuu descended into a nearby skyscraper and just sat down relaxing. After a while, he found himself late at night and decided to call it a day. He descended the streets in a nearby alleyway where normally thugs would lurk.
Normally, it would be unwise to choose a suspicious place but this is exactly what he wanted. He needed points for the systems and beating up thugs gave him points as a Normal mission.
[ Normal Mission ]
[ Beating up thugs : 1x = 10 points
Sending them to jail: 1x = 15 points
Killing criminal: 1x = 20 points ]
He was walking around trying to find them and was using a map that the phone gave him when doing a mission. Ryuu thought it was best to hide his face in case some witness saw him.
'A simple mask would be enough.'
He soon molded a mask that was similar to the red hood giving a rather badass look if not for his clothes. Ryuu didn't care about his looks and decided to think about it later.
'Time to hunt some scum!'
