Chapter 3-BB (Edited)

"Unfortunately, Li..." Orange was interrupted by Alexion before he could say Alexion's wife's name.

"Not a word about it," Alexion frowned.

It seems he doesn't want to continue to talk about it.

"It's a shame Alexion is so stubborn; he's still waiting for a degraded system to reappear, when it was considered dead," Orange thought to himself.

"What is the reaction of your clan about your decision?" Orange inquires

Alexion replied, "Same."

"Alex, if you continue on this path, I don't know what will happen to you. You need to remember you have a son now." Orange can help but feel helpless witnessing his stubborn best friend destroy himself.

Alexion is a member of one of the most powerful weapon forge clans in the System Link. Alexion is the direct only son of the clan head's leader.

Alexion, on the other hand, exiled himself after discovering that his clan was one of the reasons his wife went missing.

Meanwhile, back in the warehouse.

"Do you have a souvenir for me, Sister Claire?" BB inquires

"Here," Claire said, handing BB a book.

"Thank you so much, Sister Claire!" BB exclaimed excitedly as he spun around.

Claire is cold and unresponsive to others, focusing solely on her job of assisting Mr. Orange. Claire is a native Subsystem member who is linked to Mr. Orange.

A subsystem is the lowest class system in System Link. They are either descendants of systems lost in the Fate War that happened millions of years ago or commit a crime or system that is deactivated.

Claire is a system history loser's descendant. Mr. Orange Ancestor defeated her Ancestor, forcing her to become a subsystem.

Claire's response to BB surprised many systems. It was strange for her, but she found BB interesting for some reason.

Claire knows that her status is different from BB's. She knows that, no matter how close she is to him, it will be useless.

Being friends with BB is enough for her. She did not know why, so she was attracted to a newborn system that was only in OC form.

BB, on the other hand, likes to be around Claire, but he does not understand why subsystems need to exist.

He felt pity for her. A good system like her can have a host and only work under the system to survive.

He knows from his father, Alexion, that Claire had a powerful system of knowledge. It was a pity that she was born a subsystem.

Mr. Orange left with Claire after receiving his order. Alexion asked BB to rest rather than exert his limited energy.

Then he locked BB inside his Control Room to allow him to recharge. The Control Room is a system permeate space, also known as Soul Space.

There were two types of forms in all systems.

Origin Core Form (OC Form) An object form, such as the BB OC form, is Black Box, whereas the Alexion OC form is Crystal Anvil.

Materialized Form (M Form) is their physical form, which is usually based on their previous race.

They can alter their appearance. However, this is unusual because they usually retain their original appearance.

Others are unaware of it. Through BB, Alexion was reminded of the younger version of his wife's personality. He places BB in the energy room inside his Control Room.

The Control Room of BB, a 3x3 meter wide room. Although his control room is all white, his outside appearance is a small black box.

Since she is always in isolation due to successive failed activations, BB enjoys collecting books.

Normally, when a system is in its OC form, it has 360-degree visibility, but in isolation, it's like being locked down in your own home.

Everyone had no idea what BB's M form was, but he did. Because BB is unisex, Alexion and others assume he is a boy.

BB isn't bothered by it, but she does sometimes mistake herself for a female, especially when he's alone.

Height:5'9 ft

Race: Human

He appeared to be more of a pretty boy or gender-neutral.

Meanwhile, in his Control Room, BB is reading a book. Unfortunately, Claire's books are so disjointed. BB prefers to read either nonfiction or fiction.

BB is so frustrated that he realizes she must be activated or he will be deactivated.

The system's deactivation is a sad fate. It has a 90% chance of becoming a subsystem. When a system becomes a subsystem, it is a dead end from which only a few can escape.

BB knows that he needs to face reality. Many newborn systems failed to activate themselves and were forever deactivated for good.

He was close with his new family, and he wanted to show his M form to them, but he could only do that if he was activated.

But he knew he had no choice but to continue waiting to be activated and try to enjoy life until he could.
