15 Chapter 15

Atticus POV

Once I was sure Cain made it to her room I got up and went upstairs to take a shower. I wasn't trying to listen to them talk but they were right next door. 'She wants to leave because of you!' My wolf growls at me. 'Shut up! I know. Your smarter then me with this kind of stuff. What do I do?' I question him. 'They're going to get food. Follow them.' He tells me.

I rush out of the shower grabbing boxers and jeans and running downstairs. I casually walk into the kitchen trying to make it not seem like I ran. 'They know you ran dip shit.' My wolf is howling in laughter. "Hey bro. Would you like a towel?" Cain asks with a smirk on his face while Zara's trying not to laugh. "Why? What's wrong?" I question. "You have soap in your hair." Zara whispers trying to hide her face.

'Shit. What the hell? You could've told me I had soap in my hair dick.' I yell at my wolf. 'I'm in your head. I can't see what you look like unless we're in a mirror fuck twat.' He says back. "Uhh no that's okay I'll be right back." I say with a blush. 'Nice one brother. Super classy.' Cain says in my head laughing.

Zaraphine's POV

"Uhh. That was weird." I say as I burst out laughing. "Yeah it was. I think he's trying to impress you." Cain chuckles. "With soap? What is he trying to prove? That he knows how to shower?" I joke. "Okay so he's not off to a good start."

"What do you want to want to eat? Atticus has pretty much everything." He tells me. 'Chicken!!' My wolf screams causing me to laugh. "What's so funny?" Cain questions. I point to my head and explain "she wants chicken." Cain begins to laugh hysterically. 'Hey don't laugh at me. I'm starving and at this point I could even eat wolf, so if I were you I'd just agree to the chicken.' My wolf scowls out. "Yeah. Yeah. I heard. I'll start making the chicken. He says.

Atticus' POV

I run upstairs to my room and can't help but stop and look into her room. 'Maybe we could take her shopping. Get her some stuff of her own.' My wolf offers. 'Good idea. I'll ask her if she wants to go.' I reply before jumped back in the shower to finish rinsing my hair. Once finished I climb back out and dry off putting my boxers and jeans back on.

Making my way downstairs I hear her sweet laugh. 'God she's so beautiful.' I just hum in reply. Walking in the kitchen Zara and Cain are sitting at the island in the kitchen laughing. 'That could've been us ya know.' My wolf huffs out. 'Shut up. I'm gonna fix this.' I say before shoving him to the back of my mind.

"You look clean." Her delightful voice whispers out. I chuckle looking at her and nodding my head. "Sorry. I was hungry and I just wanted to get down here before the rest of the pack members get back." I lie. "But hey I wanted to ask you something." I say nervously. "Umm. Okay. Are you gonna ask or am I supposed to guess what it is?" She chuckles. "Right. Umm.." 'dude just act normal. You're even making me uncomfortable.' Cain says in my head. "Wouldyouliketogoshopping?" I rush out.

'That was not normal.' Cain chuckles. "What?" Zara questions. "Umm. Would you like to go shopping?" I say now feeling extremely nervous. She looks up from her hands with a shocked expression. "Umm you don't have to if you don't want to. I just thought it'd be nice. You know since you don't have clothes that actually fit you here." I reason. "Sure. Yeah that'd be nice. Thank you."

Cain finished cooking while Zara and I sat in what I felt was an uncomfortable silence. Not knowing what to say I mind link Cain. 'Can I get some help here. What do I say. How do I start a conversation without getting her upset with me?' "Atticus wants to know how he can start a conversation with you without you getting pissed at him." Cain says casually causing my head to snap towards him with a low growl.

"Ummmm... what is something you want to talk about. I'll tell you if it's a good topic or not." She whispers. 'Holy shit. Cain actually worked magic. She's not scowling at us.' My wolf howls with joy. "What's your favorite color?" I question. 'Okay that was lame dude. Im a dog and can do better than that.' My wolf huffs.
