CHAPTER 46 Do You Love Berserk?

  Margaret's POV

I lost control in front of Ellie and didn't know how to face her or explain myself, so I quietly attended Scott's funeral outside the crowd in the afternoon.

He was probably a child my father had saved before, so his funeral made me think of my parents. They had become fertilizer for the flower field, nurturing rose after rose.

I didn't sleep all night, and my spirit was on the verge of breaking. I needed a change of scenery; this room now felt far too oppressive.

I walked to the garden and wandered around, unexpectedly discovering a rose garden that I had never seen before.

"Good morning, Luna," a passing plump middle-aged male servant greeted me.
