"If anything, leave the storm singers to me. You need not get involved any further. The directions you have provided will suffice." Eidon still debated Neveah's decision.
"Splitting ways will be faster and more effective than you would take down all five by yourself and you know this."
"I understand your concern for me, Eidon. But this is more important than my safety at this time." Neveah insisted as she rose to her feet.
"Menarx would not agree." Eidon replied blankly.
Neveah had no words to counter that, but she would not give in on this one.
If the storm singers were not taken care of in time, even Menarx would possibly be in danger.
If she was truly to be a rider on the king's guard, Neveah knew she would have to make the dragon lords understand that there was a difference between a princess and a rider to a battle dragon.
