Chapter 37

"Fine! I don't need a two timer to save me anyway. So, fuck you!" Henko yelled as he hung up the phone. In anger, he threw it across the alley way, smashing it into the wall. At the point Henko didn't care. The cold was getting to him. Even though he was in anger, he shouldn't have thrown his phone against the wall. It may no longer work. He really fucked himself over this time. Wanting to try to reach for the phone, his body wouldn't move. His body had stopped responding to him. The skin that was hit by the rain drops were no longer felt. Was his body starting to shut down on him? Was this the last of his life that he was going to see? There were still so much that he wanted to do. It didn't take long for his finger tips and toes to go completely numb. Henko used the material to cover his feet, which didn't help as much. Curled up with his legs against his chest. Henko would breathe onto his hands and place them between his stomach and legs. His eyes were becoming heavy. Sleep was trying to kick in. He couldn't allow that to happen. The drowsiness was starting to win out his determination of staying awake. If he wasn't able to stay awake, then death would soon come.

The sound of a car door was heard. Henko was unsure if he was hearing things or if someone had noticed him down the alleyway. Footsteps echoed down that alley. The splashing sound made it seem there was more than just one person. Was he going to be saved looking like this? The footsteps stopped in front of him. Henko looked straight ahead at the black slacks that were in his view. It was a man. The man crouched down to get a better look at the naked and soaked Henko. Henko used what little strength he had to see who his savor was. His eyes went wide.

"I…va…" Henko spoke out his savors name before he passed out. Ivan barely caught Henko as his body fell to his side. He felt the chill run through his hands as he felt how cold Henko's body was.

"The hell happened?" Ivan questioned more to himself.

"Sir!" Devan spoke out in concern.

"I'm fine. Get me something dry and fast. Also, make sure that the car heater is as high as it can be." A man nodded and ran to the car. Mark stood next to Ivan who was holding an umbrella keeping the man dry. Ivan pulled Henko into his embrace so he was shielded from the rain that fell onto his body. The man was blown back at how cold Henko was. If he didn't get here sooner, the smaller man would've frozen to death.

"Sir. I got something dry and the car is toasty warm." Ivan stood up holding Henko in his arms.

"Give me the dry material." Devan handed Ivan a long white shirt that was twice the size as Henko. Ivan tried his best to wrap Henko's body in it without having to put Henko down. Ivan followed his men to his car. Carefully making his way inside, he was welcomed to an oven he called his car. It was so hot, that Ivan had to loosen his tie and unbutton the top of his shirt. He didn't mind too much. He knew that Henko needed this warmth. "Mark." Ivan spoke out to the man sitting in the front seat.

"What is it sir?"

"I want you to call the house and tell one of the men to start up a bath." Mark turned around to look at Ivan for a moment. Ivan's eyes were staring down at Henko. He turned to face the front again.

"Yes sir." He pulled out his phone and made the call. Ivan held Henko's body as close to his as he could. The smaller man shivered in Ivan's arms and pulled himself closer to the warmth that now surrounded his body.

Henko became conscious to what was going on when he felt his entire body being submerged into something warm. He slowly opened his eyes and saw water surrounding him. Henko looked around to see where he was and realized that he was being held by two arms.

"I see that you have woken up." Henko turn his head around to see the person that had spoken to him. It was Ivan. Henko turned his face forward and tried to pull out of the man's grasp. "Don't think you can leave. It would be best to just relax." Ivan held onto the squirming man, who finally settled down. The water was filled up to his middle chest. For two men in the bath, there was still room for another person. Henko was sitting in between Ivan's legs that were on both sides of him.

"I…I somewhat remember you showing up. I thought it was a dream."

"It wasn't." The arms around Henko tightened. "Why didn't you tell me what had happened?" Henko was quiet. Ivan must know everything. He looked down at his body. With the lights being bright, he could see all the black and blue bruises. Some were turning red and purple.

"You said you didn't care." Henko's voice was low.

"When did I ever say that?" Ivan questioned.

"You said it on the phone." Henko's voice got louder.

"You started it. I just quoted what you said."

"Ya but…" Henko stopped himself.

"What is it?" Ivan questioned. He hadn't moved from his spot.

"You…. Don't you have someone else that you should be with right now?" Henko questioned.

"Who do you think I am supposed to be with?" Ivan questioned back.

"You are married are you not?" Ivan started to move his body so he was hugging Henko from the back.

"Where did you get that information from?" Ivan questioned Henko as he kept hold of the smaller man.

"So, it's true." Henko spoke. He could feel his heart breaking all over again. Why would the man that had someone else keep giving him hope?

"I asked where you heard that information." Ivan questioned again.

"Why does it matter? Was it supposed to be a huge secret or something?" He was getting irritated at the fact that he was being interrogated for knowing about that. Was it something that he wanted to hide from Henko? Would it really matter if he knew about the marriage or not?

"The reason I ask, is because it's a lie. I want to know who is spreading rumors that I am married."

"Wait…What?" Henko tried his best to turn to face Ivan.

"You're not married?"

"No. I am not. I want to know who told you that I was." Henko looked downwards as he spoke.

"I got the information from your henchmen. It was the day that you saved me. They said that they had no time to be saving me. They said that you had an engagement that you had to be at." Henko heard Ivan take a big sigh. He leaned backwards against the bathtub side bringing Henko down with him.
