CHAPTER NINE

After everything that happened yesterday, I had to find out the truth.

It was wrong but I had to know the truth.

I went to Takato's elementary school with excuse that my company had a kind of special program that was for children and that I needed to take an inspection of the school.

The school wasn't the best, it was cheap and tacky compared to the elementary school I went to which was prestigious and huge and their teaching was so economical, it was annoying but I couldn't complain.

"It's an honour to have the CEO of Takken groups. We really hope that you enjoy your visit." The principal said before she lead me to the senior classes.

I maintained my composure with the sixth grade who greeted me with respect before I talked a little to the teacher who wouldn't stop releasing her pheromones shamelessly.

I wasn't interested and for the first time, I was glad to actually wear my wedding ring.

Finally we got to the first grade and I saw Takato who was happily chattering with his friend who nodded slowly every once in a while to his excited conversation.

He didn't even stand to greet like his classmates because he was still talking about his favorite cartoon when his teacher shouted his name and everyone faced him making him to blush in embarrassment and then stand and bow.

"It's okay. He is still a kid." I said before his teacher sighed and gave me a gentle smile.

"His really a hyperactive child and he always gets in trouble for it but that's why his so popular among his seniors." The teacher explained before they all sat down.

"Do you mind if I have a moment with the class?" I asked before she nodded and respectfully left me and the class alone.

"Hey kids, I'm Mr Haru Aizawa but you can call me uncle. If you have any questions you can ask me." I said before everyone kept quiet. A girl with pigtail raised her hand.

"What do you do for a living?" She asked before I hummed.

"I'm a businessman. I plant my money in a shop and make it grow big for a lot of money."

"Like a tree?" Another kid asked before I laughed and nodded.

"Similar but not quite. When you get older you'll understand." I said before we all laughed again.

A boy with black curls and black eyes stood up and then looked at Takato before facing me.

"Takato likes to play with Kairi, his an omega. Takato is an alpha but he doesn't act like one."

"Yeah and he acts like his better than everyone just because the teachers like him. Plus his hanging out with the poor omega."

"My mom said that he doesn't have a daddy and we shouldn't learn from his mom." Another kid complained making me grit my teeth as I tried to control my temper.

I was about to yell at them when Takato banged his desk and then he laughed.

He kept a serious face and looked at all his classmates that started talking.

"I don't care about what you say about me but don't talk about omegas, Kairi and mama any how or I'm going to beat you up like superman! It's not Kairi's fault he is an omega and it's not like being an alpha or beta is special. For me, omegas are the special ones so don't talk like that especially since some of you have omegas as your mama!" He shouted making everyone in the class to keep quiet and then face their front.

Takato was outspoken just like Yuki when I first saw him.

They were afraid but they always enjoyed challenging that fear and that's what made me smile.

"Now mind yourself and read your story." Takato said as he blew raspberries before his friend, I believed to be Kairi held his hand and shook his head making Takato to sit down.

"How about we play a game?" I asked before everyone forgot about their argument and agreed to play the game.

When I heard the bell, I saw their homeroom teacher walk back in before they all stood and rearranged their tiny desk so that they could sit with their friend before they went and collected their lunchbox or bento.

I saw as Takato collected his friend's lunchboxes.

I observed as he placed the box and opened his before he gave a side of his meal and then shared his cupcake with Kairi who fed him back.

They were acting like old married couples.

"Weird isn't it?" The teacher whispered to me as I walked out of the classroom with her.

"What?"

"How sweet Takato is. Kairi Asirigen is a shy but sweet kid, his father is having rehabilitation for addiction. He really loves his son that's why he dropped him in his grandma's care and she's pretty old and can't do much. So when Takato moved here, they became friends quickly. Takato always brings extra lunch for him and keeps on saying that his going to marry him. I just hope that happens, I can feel like their a fated bond." She explained before she stopped halfway.

"I hoped you had a nice day Mr Aizawa. I have to go back before those children start causing trouble." She said before she bowed and then walked back making me to smile.

Takato was really a great kid.

He was an alpha like me but he was just like Tomoki. Loud, outspoken, cheerful and willing to help.

I entered the car before I put my hand in my pocket and brought out the samples I took from Takato.

I needed to be sure even though what I was doing was illegal because I didn't have consent.

I took a bag as I put the saliva in a cup into the bag and a few strands of Takato's hair. If that kids weren't so naive, getting this would have been a task.

I drove to the hospital where I gave them my sample as well as Takato's.

All I had to do was wait for the results and everything would show in the light.
