Beautiful night

Finally, after Luna calms down, Kevin takes Luna for a walk on the beach.

Luna still doesn't talk much and looks sad but Kevin doesn't want to let Luna slowly get away from him.

The waves swept their feet and felt very cold let alone the wind blowing very strong

"Come closer..." Ask Kevin, he was worried if Luna will get cold because she wears a short dress.

"Nope..." Reject Luna.

Kevin can only sigh, this girl is still sulking apparently, Kevin then approaches Luna slowly until their shoulders touch and make the incident in front of the restaurant this afternoon again remembered.

"Do you mind if I embrace you?" Ask Kevin, making Luna turn around, she is too embarrassed to answer Kevin's question even though she feels cold at the moment.

"I don't mean that. It's kind of cold, I'm afraid you're getting sick." Said Kevin, because Luna staring at him suspiciously makes Kevin misbehave.

"Okay, but this is because we're just being coldly and nothing more."

"Sure."

Kevin then slowly touches Luna's open shoulders, Luna's skin feels cold making Kevin tighten his embrace.

"You still mad at me?" Ask Kevin carefully.

"A little bit." Answer Luna briefly.

Kevin becomes increasingly agitated, he is very close to Luna but Luna feels very distant.

"You're going to stop?" Ask Kevin again.

"I don't know..."

"What do I have to do so you don't stop?"

"Nothing."

Oh my God, it feels like Kevin wants to cry now. He's afraid that Luna will stop.

But suddenly Luna opens up, "You and Mr. Smith look close, have you known each other before?" 

"We were very close, he was my senior when I went to college in America." Said Kevin, but it makes Luna confused if they've known each other why Smith complicates cooperation between them.

"If Kevin and Smith are so close why he gives such terms and not just agree?" Luna can't find the answer to her question and expresses her curiosity. "Then why does he make it harder for you?" Aks Luna can't help but wonder.

"In business, there is no word brother or close friend, if it does not make a profit even you will not be invited to work together," Kevin replied straightforwardly, the business world is cruel Luna thought.

"I see," murmured Luna, she has long been secretary but when she became Kevin's father's secretary the relationship was very important, having a close friend of a businessman would be very profitable because it can facilitate cooperation agreements but why not with Kevin.

"The shortcut is fun but won't make your business strong and last long. That's what I learned from Smith, so as soon as I graduated from my college, I decided to take over the company. My father has worked hard all along but the path he took sometimes wasn't all right. I don't want to be like that, our company could be suddenly destroyed if those we've been making as backups suddenly break up their partnership. We must be strong with our abilities, although many difficult things await ahead of our path of success."

Kevin replied explaining that he impressed Luna, "so this is what made Mr.Wijaya retire early?" Luna said in the heart now clearly Kevin is a great businessman, in the space of 2 years Kevin can solve the problem of the company that was almost bankrupt at that time, even now the company is more advanced.

"You're so great." Luna's praise flatters Kevin. "Really?" asked Kevin sheepishly.

"Of course, you're great because I'm your secretary." Luna laughs before finally running to the beach.

"So you're not going to stop?"

"I'll rethink it."

Oh finally, thank God.

Kevin ends up running after Luna, but Luna is very nimble and can always dodge when Kevin is about to catch her, even he can splash the seawater with his feet towards Kevin making Kevin get a little wet.

They kept running around with laughter until they felt tired and finally decided to sit on the sand of the beach.

"The full moon above the sea is very beautiful," Luna said that her face sparkles in the light of the full moon, making Kevin unable to turn his eyes to Luna.

"Yes, You are beautiful." Kevin's voice is heard very close to Luna's ears making Luna turn around, Kevin is very close to her now and she keeps staring at Luna intensely making Luna blush.

Kevin looks at her lips now and brings his face closer to Luna, while Luna just stays glued. The distance between their faces is only a little more and Kevin even looks Into Luna's eyes and then his gaze drops on Luna's lips as if signaling if she is going to kiss Luna, but Luna just shuts up not budging that means Luna agrees.

When Kevin has grasped Luna's hand and their lips barely touch, Luna suddenly turns her face to make Kevin bow down disappointed but the man is not angry however they have not been at the stage of clarity of the real relationship.

"I'm going to clean your hands," Luna said, she doesn't know what she just did to make things more awkward now. Luna carefully grabs Kevin's hand and starts removing the nail polish on Kevin's hand one by one gently. Kevin is happy at least Luna wants to hold his hand without hesitation now.

"Look at your nails are so beautiful, red matches your clean skin." Praise Luna smiling.

"If you like it then it doesn't need to be removed," Kevin said.

"No, I don't like someone staring at you flirtatiously even though he's a man."

Luna was unaware of what she has just said, whether she is starting to like Kevin why she says such a thing. She's not even sure about Kevin's feelings for her which are sometimes very sweet but sometimes annoying.

Kevin often declares love to her but all his love statements sound like jokes so Luna is so careful she doesn't want to be played by Kevin.

"Luna, I love you..." Kevin whispers in Luna's eyes which suddenly makes her heart shake. This isn't the first time she's heard a declaration of love from Kevin but it's the first time Luna has felt pounding.

Does Kevin love me or is he playing with me again? Luna just silently looks at Kevin while guessing while Kevin waits patiently for Luna's answer, his feelings are unbearable anymore.

Kevin can no longer disguise his feelings for Luna, being with Luna all day and not being in the shadow of work makes him feel confident if he loves Luna and Luna may have the same feelings.

"It's almost midnight, let's go back to the hotel." Luna finally chooses not to answer Kevin's declaration of love and leaves Kevin who is still sitting on the side of the beach with disappointment.
