12 LETS GO FORWARD

Ash was going to school in a few days and this was her last year before she passed out to the higher level of education. Isabella was already a pass out and studying for magic sect. Ash was pretty sure that Isabella would be with her till the end of her time in school, but that was to be seen in the future.

Ash then went to see Cloud for the apprenticeship, which they both were going through together by walking all the way to his home. Throughout the walk to Cloud's home, Ash kept thinking about the certain dreams that kept her tired and cautious from sleeping. 'Is there any meaning to these dreams? Were they really an actual person and all this happened with them in actual?....I'm pretty sad if this all actually happened with them....'

Ash shuddered with the thought of someone close to her betraying her, 'How could they actually keep their sanity after that is beyond me!! Well some of them didn't I could feel but ....aish!!!!' Soon Ash reached Cloud's home and knocked the door. The door opened and the head butler welcomed her in. She was sitting in the drawing room while waiting for Cloud.

Soon Cloud came , a wooden practice sword in his hand, and greeted Ash. "AH it looks like I caught you at a bad time. You were practicing."

Cloud just waved off her apology and said," Nah I just finished my practice and was about to go to your home only. You beat me to it."

"So my parents have agreed to let me go with you!!yohooo!!" High fiving both exclaimed "COOL"

"So we'll both be going to the capital. My uncle lives there. And There is so much to see and damn we'll have fun alright!!!!!!"

"Oh we'll be going there? I thought your uncle would be coming here. I guess that's not bad. ...oh and umm...will Luna be there too?" Asked Ash shyly.

"Ahuh and why are you asking that?? Hmmmmmmm i sensing something here.....oy looks like someone likes someone ahuh ahuh ??"

Ash flustered 😫 "nooooooooo i dont. Stop that. I was just asking don't go digging. Idiot!"

A sound of door opening and heels clicking interrupted the two friends. A figure then emerged from the corner and Cloud exclaimed," Ma! You're back. When did you get back from the capital?"

Cloud just upped and ran towards his mother and stopped where she was standing. His mother then slightly chided him," Cloud now where are your manners? You have a guest. And i came back just now."

Cloud scratched his head and sheepishly said," Sorry Ma. She's my friend Ash. You know, the one who's going with me to Uncle's."

Ash then stoop up." Hello! Ma'am. Im Ash Merchant . It's nice to meet you. Im sorry if i intruded in your home like this."

"Oh! Non sense dear. It's good to meet you. Cloud always has something about you to say. Welcome dear. Think of this home as yours. You're always welcome. Now you kids continue im going upstairs. Should you need me, you'll find me there. Have fun, kids." She just ruffled Cloud's hair and went up the stairs.

"Pssst hey Cloud, you never said your mom was this beautiful?"

Cloud then looks speechlessly at Ash..." HEY ! Thas my mom right there!"

"So …..i just complemented her ….."

" you're impossible Ash."

Ash then bursts out laughing "damn Cloud you should've seen your face…..chill chill I aint gonna do a thing. Chill i was just messing with you! ….anyways i got to go now. I'll meet you tomorrow ok?"

Cloud then placated a little bit huffed out and dismissingly replied a yea yea see you tomorrow.

Ash just shook her head and started her way back home. Just as Ash was walking in a near by alley there a couple of figures standing and observing every move made by Ash . "this is boring ...why do i have to tail a kid...tch its all your fault we got stuck with this assignment!!" one of the figures complained.

"would you shut your trap for GODS sake .....keep your croaking voice down . they can hear you.....IDIOT" the other said irritatingly.

"So what I don't care !"

"Well you should! Fucking idiot! didn't you know I got this assignment after so many tries and this is for our promotion. HELL WHY AM I STUCK WITH AN IDIOT!? now shut the fuck up and pay attention. you ass."

Luckily Ash was busy in her own thoughts and didn't pay much attention to her surroundings and this played as an advantage for the pursuers as they could bicker and still get away with it.

"This was going to the top partners and you little shit are throwing a tantrum.....get your lame ass here....." at this the complaining figure stopped its grumbling and stood quietly and did the other person's bidding. " Finally some quiet"...

Ash unaware of what had transpired near her, was in deep thoughts whether her decision to go train under Cloud's uncle a good one or not kept going forward to her home where her parents and a new sister waiting for her. ' Only a few days are left till my school once again starts .maybe I should go and visit Isabella ...we might not meet much since she might get busy with her studies soon...yea I should go.'

Soon Ash reached home and she could see her father talking with some people outside their home. Her father was looking quite glum and hints of an argument could be heard from a distance.

"...will not go in with you . You people have no control over what they can or should be doing ...leave them alone. For god's sake THEY HAVE LEFT IT ALL BEHIND..."

" We are sorry, but orders are from above. We cannot help you in any way... we will give you some time and come back later."

Her father looked like he has lost all his hopes and hung his head down, for he was tired negotiating with these men. Ash approached her father just as the men were leaving. She then glanced at them and made eye contact with the leader she presumed, as he was the only one talking with her father. Just for a few seconds and Ash could see that this person was dangerous and one not to be trifled with. The group then went away and Ash hurriedly walked towards her father, who was standing there dejectedly.

"Father, are you Okay? Did something happen? Who were those men?" Ash kept firing questions on questions.

"Ah its nothing to worry about, kid. Just some work related things thas all. Go hurry up your mum's been waiting for you .now go don't make her wait for more. Go"

Ash then went ahead then looked back again at her father. At this, her father just made a shooing motion and smiled assuringly at her to show that it was nothing to worry about.

Ash went ahead in the house, her father kept staring at her back and sighed,"IM SORRY ASH."
