"What are you even doing Emma?" Ivan brought Emmeline to the side and whispered in her ears in a stern tone. This girl had certainly gone mad.
Who was that person with golden hair and eyes? He was the ruthless crown prince who only knew his own profit. He might have looked like an innocent fourteen years old by his behavior now, but he and Alex knew what kind of person that prince was.
He was not a person to be trifled with. And here, this girl was asking him to play games with him? What were they, kids?
What if the crown prince got offended and ordered executing her right on the spot? Did she even know she was playing with fire?
"It is all under control brother. Did you not see how excited he seems? His whole face is gleaming. I reckon he badly wants to make friends. He sits at the highest seat in the kingdom after his parents, I don't think he has real friends," Kim Su Won replied with an assuring smile.
To be honest, she really wanted the crown prince to have some good memories from his childhood. He became a tyrant because he did not trust anyone. His family never made him feel that he could trust anyone.
She was in the same boat in her original life. She had already changed hers, why could she not help her favorite character a bit too?
She had declared she was going to marry him but that was not her destiny according to the novel. If the next transmigrator was to end up with that jerk of third prince anyway, she could at least help the future Emmeline with a powerful ally and may be, change the fate of not only the crown prince but her future self too.
"He is not a person to make friends with Emma! Why do you not understand? I am already reluctant for you to compete in the crown princess race. But now this?" Ivan grabbed her shoulders forcefully and shook her tiny body a bit.
Kim Su Won did not understand what the problem with Ivan Whittemore was. Why was he suddenly so worried for her? Had he finally realized that there was an intelligent girl in the house? But her becoming the crown princess was going to benefit him as the heir of the duke. Why was he behaving in the opposite way?
"I am sorry big brother but I don't think that is for you to decide. I will do what I want and you cannot stop me," Kim Su Won suddenly became serious, her cheerful aura disappeared.
Aaron Chadbourne felt the chills from behind and turned his head towards the brother-sister pair. He had already taken the seat on the sofa and was sitting in anticipation. The maid, Anna, had brought quite a few interesting looking things, including a few cardboard stacks, a giant wooden stack and a few folded scrolls with wooden pieces.
He had thought they were going to play something like chess. But these things looked completely different. There were weird colorful symbols everywhere too. He was intrigued. She said it was to pass time but he was looking forward to spending time with the whole group.
He sensed there was something wrong there in the corner, so he got up from his seat and headed towards them.
"Is there a problem?" he asked, a slight hint of concern in his eyes.
"No your royal highness, everything is great," Kim Su Won went back to her cheerful self. She had been playing these games just with Anna and Chris since the time she made them which was right after her stressful exam.
In this era, where none of the electronic devices existed, how was she to entertain herself? Thus, she 'invented' the games including Monopoly, Jenga and Uno. She was going to develop more board games as she progressed but for now, these three were enough.
She could also gauge the potential of marketing these after playing them with these three boys.
"Let's head to our seats. Let's start the game with the cards. We can also include Sir Timothy, Chris and Anna. Your highness, do we have your permission to include everyone here?" Kim Su Won grabbed the hand of the crown prince and brought him back to his seat.
Prince Aaron, who was not very fond of other people touching him, was very surprised. The hand was so tiny and soft that he wanted to keep it in his palm. But by the time he realized he was being dragged by a puny girl, he had already been seated.
He nodded towards her, giving her the permission. She clasped her hands, squealing in happiness.
"Alright people, this game is called 'Uno'. There are different types of cards here," she started explaining the rules, everyone listening to her with keen attention. They had a practice round and then started playing the game, laughing and chatting, as if, everyone was equal here.

"What the heck? Why is it so loud here?" Katherine asked as she neared the entrance to Emmeline's living room. There were two guards stationed outside the room for no one was to disturb the party inside. There was an intense game of Jenga going on.
"I am sorry my lady. No one is allowed inside by the orders of the crown prince," one of the guards stopped the two ladies and their maids from entering the hall.
"Do you not know who I am? How can you treat the guest of the Whittemore house and the crown prince like this?" Katherine stomped her feet.
Cecilia did not say anything because these guards did not belong to her family. These were royal guards and she did not have permission to look down upon them. She had to give it to this girl who could still flaunt her status. Did she not know that everything would be reported later to the prince and the royal family?
"I am sorry sir, but could you please at least let them know that we are the ladies of Richmond and Whittemore houses. I am sure, they would let us in once they know," Cecilia politely tried to convince the guards with her best behavior.
"We are sorry but these are royal orders. Unless they come out themselves, no one is to disturb them," the other guard replied stubbornly.
Another laughter came from inside making the two ladies even more curious. They had to get in and see what was happening. There was no way crown prince was inside for the atmosphere could never be this happy with him around.
"What is happening here?" an authoritative voice from behind the two girls shouted as a full adult group halted in front of the door.
