Sue Vs The Stranger 2

Sue's mind stirred hearing this, since that day she has paced the badge away and never looked at it again and now being forced back there again was not something she was willing to do, but it seems this situation has nowhere around it.

"I'm not a hostage negotiator and who are these people to ask me specifically."

"We don't know yet, but they mean business and you are to be there in two hours or they start shooting".

"So why did you not wake me up when you got her".

"Like I said you looked peaceful and I did not want to disturb..... haha what's with that look I was only joking. I got here 10 minutes ago and we still have a lot of time before they expect an answer".

She did not find it funny and from the look of this guy he did not care about the situation at all, it was more like he was forced to be here and was making up for the time he lost in her house. Covering herself with a badsheet she went into the bathroom, her face still looked tired and her hair was all messed up. Looking at the mirror she had a white face, an oval face, pretty eyebrows, pretty nose and deep green eyes that made her stand out everywhere she was. No one but herself could know why she had chosen such a carrier with a face like hers.

Coming on out of her bathroom, she had already put on her service uniform, on her it looked like the new clothes in style and her long legs were a desire of many of her friends. She could be said to be the only female cop to look that good in a uniform which has also gotten her in many situations. The stranger in her room had already left so she took her service weapon by the window and left the apartment.

Out of her apartment was one black SUV with two patrol cars from behind and front with the man in black already in the car at the middle.

"Are the escort cars necessary?"

"Officer Sue, you are wanted by a group of armed forces that is holding a company with the most powerful members of society in this country, belief me it is necessary".

"First time being in such a situation..... you never told me your name". She gets into the car and the patrol cars starts ringing their sirens.

"I'm John Haig director of national intelligence and yes this is not something we would make a move for but the weapons they are using are something we have been tracking for a while now. All we need you to do is be the negotiator between us and them".

"I have a feeling it's not that simple though, as a director for National Intelligence you know everything about me so except for the position my father has in the government there is nothing worth mentioning about my life".

"We looked into any known enemies of your father or anyone that would have a grudge against him or you but these guys are like ghost they just appeared and if not for the people they have your father would not have agreed to this"

Sue looked at the outside view as she recall if she had done something to course this but nothing come to mind. She wondered why she choose this path, was it to please her father who wanted a son but got a boy or was it that boy she meet at the orphanage who put the idea in her head and wanting to meet him again in the same career path.
