Chapter 14 Too much attention 2

kalaron walked into the cottage when he noticed that neither redpearl nor the young werewolf were coming out and it was getting pretty late what he didn't expect to run into was two creatures getting comfortable with each other. snuggling and cuddling, color run could see that the werewolf had some form of bond with the young human persons however it was getting really late and they didn't want to run into other rogue night creatures.

clearing his throat, he drew both parties attention to himself I do appreciate you guys getting together but you should consider that it's getting late said. red Pearl hopefully you will not hurt color runs a drawing his attention to the main reason he was here I apologize I was let an unable to protect her highness he bowed with great regret had he been here earlier, maybe his relation with the human princess would have gotten better.

"You do not have to apologize your highness Kalaron. I do appreciate your efforts for coming here. I'm fine thank you very much I do not know how to repay you." Redpearl said shyly looking at the really handsome elf she felt that she wouldn't get used to this man's beauty.

Feeling left out, Brandon growled as he signaled that they should get going like Kalaron had said earlier. Kalaron was offended at the growl since it was harsh and disrespectful. He glared at the wolf, daring him to use such a tone at him ever again and he wouldn't go down without a fight.

Redpearl felt like she needed a cave to hide. 'How uncultured of her to get so close with this wolf! No, not a wolf, a human was hidden behind the fur and he was a MALE! Heavens!!!' She sneaked and looked at the the two men, one wolf the other Elf, glaring at eachother. 'Now what?!!!' Hadn't they agreed it was time for her to go home as it was late in the evening? Hello, we need to move now!' she though in her mind but didn't open her mouth to say so.

Brandon recalled he had his mate in the cottage and he couldn't get vicious in her presence with fear of scaring her away. though he hated the fact that their special moment was interrupted, he considered her safety First and without further ado he made gentle steps towards her and whined a little getting Redpearl's attention to him. hello at his enormous body and signal for her to get on Clara who immediately picked on what the werewolf would say looked at him and shock was she going to ride a wolf she had never thought that such huge and dangerous beasts could be wrong just like how one could ride a horse..

Kalaron who noticed the little princesses hesitancy stepped over towards her "....it will be easier to get back to the palace this way, please get on!" he said and gestured for her to sit atop of the Wolf. She pulled her body to sit at top of the wolf like he was a horse. ".... hold on tight!" Kalaron said to her.

Feeling her soft warm fingers clasp his fur as tightly as she could, Brandon grinned and rose gently to his full length. Clara was surprised as this felt exactly like she was sitting on a horse. Brandon looked back at her to ensure that she was seated uncomfortably then stopped out of the cottage with Kalaron just right behind them.

A first-time experience for her, she felt the need to puke but she couldn't possibly ask that as the werewolf sprinted off into the night leaving the elves far behind. Brandon felt really stupid having been as such selfish to keep Clara in such a dangerous environment as he began his journey initially, he could feel answers the dangerous creatures that formed in the woods and right now the only goal in his mind was to ensure that his mate got back to the castle safe and sound he didn't want her to encounter another traumatic incident in the same day. though he didn't really need the fairies, they kept running at either side of him something that was both good and bad he had also noticed their protectiveness of her and right now, and help rendered was welcomed. 15 minutes down the run, Brandon could finally see the castle his side as he made the last time in too the pathway to the castle.

Brandon made sure to enter the palace as discreetly as possible since he knew that he's mate needed some rest at this moment when they reached the females wing, he turned back to look at her wrapped in the cloak that Kalaron had covered her up with to protect her from the cold. she was all bundled up but she looked pale, lowering himself down, it was like a go sign for her as she went to the nearest bush to vomit all that she had held back. Retching, she continued to vomit and Brandon this time didn't mind his naked frame and shifted back into his human form. He gathered her hair from her face as she continued to wretch and vomit, Brandon felt terrible for he had not considered her state. I'm sorry Redpearl....I'm really sorry!!!" his baritone voice thundered just next to her ear and she was forced to look his way. Despite it being night, she could still make out his distinct features and also see the worry etched on his masculine face.

I'm fine...just never rode that fast in my life before!" Redpearl spoke jer hand over her mouth in fear of having bad odor as she spoke to her saviour. "I'm actually thankful that you made it in time to save me. I don't know whom to thank you for that!" she said looking down to the ground.

"A meal with her Highness would do." he said softly as he rubbed her back to soothe her.

"May I know your name then?" Redpearl asked looking into the black eyes of the man, having adjusted to the night, she could now clearly see his features better and he was.... really masculine!

"Brandon." he said. He saw how her eyes widened as she waited for him to say his family name but he had no intentions whatsoever to do so. He wanted her to get to know him on the first name basis as it'd be easier in their relationship.

"Okay.... Brandon?" she said not sure if he wouldn't mind.

"Yes, just Brandon!" he said with a gentle smile.

I should get back to my quarters. Again, thank you for saving me." she bowed.

"Your maids should be here any moment, I'll escort you back to your quarters personally. " Brandon said. Seems like the castle itself was not safe but who was so stupid as to take such drastic actions....he'd take time and investigate this.
