Chapter 2

*You have slept in your bed and woken up well rested. HP and CP Restored*

Wiping the sleep out of my eyes, I rolled over and got out of bed. After my morning ritual I got dressed and created my level 2 ID, my personal ID.

There were images of each one. selecting the last option as it had everything that i needed checked, a new set of options popped up.

Selecting 1:1 I warped inside and was surrounded by grass and trees everywhere. I could hear a river nearby also and feel the heat from the sun on my body. It felt just like Konoha minus the idiots out to get me! Looking around, I decided not to dump my things here, for all I knew it could rain and damage my new items, which would be detrimental to me in the future. I would definately need things to build a house, make a garden and maybe breed certain animals for food, I could totally see myself living here in the future away from everyone else.

Leaving the ID, I decided to go about my morning workout like normal to avoid looking suspicious, a lesson i had learned in the past after stealing some bread to survive. I will never forget that beating I was given, Bastards! Adding some more laps to my regime, i finished around noon and went to do my exercises after a short rest. Then it was off to the training fiels for me! Upon Arrival to a empty field with a big stone in it, I searched it for weapons like normal. I may have thousands of them but why break my new habit? In the middle of my search, i caught sight of a man with gravity defying silver hair performing hand signs in front of what appeared to be three genin, this must be the new graduates, so i decided to stay and watch. Not realizing it, I had copied the jutsu the man had used and learned it, but ignored the DING as I wanted to see exactly what was happening, maybe id learn even more.

After watching for awhile, watching one of the three be tied to a log, I decided it was time to go. Stepping away, I felt a hand on my shoulder and turned quickly, sending a fist flying which was quickly caught, surprising me. "Maa what do we have here. You know, you shouldnt be here young man, you could get hurt."

Staring at the man with my mouth gaping open, i was left gaping. "h-how did you do that" I asked genuinly curious as i hadnt seen the man until it was too late. "Easy, Im a jonin, and your not even an academy brat yet. You really shouldnt be here. What are you doing out here anyways and who are you? Depending on your answer ill either have to report you to the hokage or send to to T and I" he said with an eye smile.

"Well im out here trying to hunt for some food, orphans gotta take care of themselves. No one was here when i got here so I figured it was safe, then you guys got here and i couldnt leave without alerting you guys, so I hid, but I was still found" I said hopin he wouldnt take this to the hokage. I personally like the Hokage, he was like a grandfather to me and me being brought to him was only gonna cause him more work. I hadnt seen the man in a couple years, maybe he had forgotten about me. Living on the street was rough, but i managed.

"Im sorry about your situation, but there are other places to hunt, places that arent training grounds and what do you mean your going hungry? The orphanages recieve a stipand per person per month to feed and cloth you, which orphanage are you from? I will make sure you get back there and have a word with the matron while im at it."

"Im sorry but i dont have a name, everyone at the orphanage called me monster or demon, and I was kicked out 2 years ago. Ive been living by myself since then. Please just forget you saw me, I dont want to go back to the beatings, the starving, the names and the looks I got while i was there."

The silver haired man gasped, weather it was good or bad, i was unaware. "OK stay right here and give me 10 minutes, I need to wrap up this test, then I want you to show me where you live now. This is non negotiable. you cant be more that what, 6 years old? "Im 5 actually. "5 yyears old and living on the street. No Give me 10 minutes and DONT MOVE from here" he said with a heated look. "look Naruto, Thats your name, we need to talk, we WILL talk, actually hold on" with that the man did a few handsigns and another him poofed into existance, "go talk to them, i gotta take Naruto to see the old man, this has gone on for too long." With a quick nod the clone went to the students as the real one eye smiled at me and reached out to me, causing me to flinch back. "Dont worry, im not going to harm you, im just gonna move us REALLY fast" he said getting a small nod form me. Moments later we stood outside a door and i leaned into a trash can making rainbows into it, feeling a hand doing circles on my back. "There there its fine. Thats just a side affect of the shunshin."

Looking up and glaring at the man, all i recieved was a chuckle. The lady at the door looked at me with hate filled eyes and said to the man "The hokage doesnt have time to see THAT THING so IT will have to leave." Barely able to keep up, i saw the man holding a kunai to the bitches throat, "If I were you id watch my mouth before it makes your head roll for breaking a certain law Cunt! Now me and yound naruto here are going to see the hokage, try and stop me" he said before knocking on the door. a quick "Enter" was all we heard and we were inside the room.

"Well Kakashi this is a surprise, to what do i owe the pleasure? Is everything alright?

Hokage-sama When was the last time you checked up on Naruto?

Well ill admit its been a while but my anbu i have guarding him and the matron all say hes doing fine, why do you ask?

Because i just caught him spying onme giving my genin teams test and he informed me he was there trying to hun for some food. normally id just give some money and escort him back after a nice meal but then HE TOLD ME HE HASNT LIVED THERE SINCE HE WAS 3 YEARS OLD!

That cant be, I got my report for him just today, not even an hour ago. where is he, I want you to bring him to me.

Stepping to the side, the now named kakashi then pointed at me, "hes here hokage sama. If hes truly been kicked out and mistreated like he claims, those bastards are mine" Kakashi proclaimed with venom in his voice "Naruto-Kun, the hokage said, tell me is what you told him true? They kicked you out at three years old and youve been fending for yourself since then?

"yes Hokage-jiji and more. I didnt even know my name was Naruto until this man told me it was, they always called me monster or demon. Every day i would get the least amount of food, get beatings labeled as punishment, if another kid did something wrong, id get the blame and punishment for it. I would spend days locked in my closet, not room closet, with no food or drink, no blanket to cover up with, torn clothes from excessive damage and other things. I even have scars proving it" i said with an air of sadness

"S-Scars Naruto-kun? May i see them?" Shrugging my shoulders, i removed my shirt, hearing 6 seperate gasps. On my chest someone had carved the word "Demon" into it, on my side was "Murderer" my back had "Monster" and "son of a whore", while my right side had numerous cuts and lacerations. "Theres more under my shorts but i havnt had underpants in years, dont think you wanna see that." By now the hokage was red in the face with anger, kakashi was being held back by 4 people with animal masks, 4 masks that hadnt hurt me before at that. "Also some people with those masks have helped me earn these scars." It was like a thunderclap went off in the room. A masked man depicting a weasel stopped for a moment and asked me, "what animals were on there masks, young Naruto?"

Stopping to think for a minute i responded " A bear, a boar, and walrus."

"THOSE FUCKING BASTARDS" a masked lady with purple hair and a cat mask bellowed and jumped out the window. "WEASEL GO STOP HER NOW" and weasel disappeared. "Hawk go get me Ibiki and Anko, then Inoichi and my private doctor, i want them here in 20 minutes! NOW!" And hawk was off. "Now everyone calm down, we are only scaring young Naruto-kun here, we dont want or need that. Everything will be taken care of soon. Kakashi I want you to take those 3 pieces of human filth down toi T&I along with the Matron." with that kakashi was gone.

"Now Naruto-kun, why didnt you come to see me sooner?"

"Well i was told you were always busy by the mean lady outside, and didnt want to see me so i never bothered. I thought you hated me like everyone else does because of the kyuubi thats sealed inside me. Silence reigned supreme in the old mans office. "Naruto how did you Kbow about that?

You just confirmed it for me. Wasnt that hard really. My brithday is the day it "died" plus everyone calling me a demon and a monster plus the yearly beatings, it wasnt hard. Its ok though, as a demon, I deserve it, i just wish my demon healing wouldve let me die after the 50th beating."

Feeling 2 arms wrap around me i opened my eyes in shock. "Naruto-kun you arent a demon, your a human with a demon sealed inside you. do you know what a kunai is?"

pulling one out i nodded my head yes. "Ok where did you get that?

"Training grounds before kakashi came to do his test. I needed a new one after my old one dulled from cleaning out animals so i could eat.

OK do you Know what a sealing scroll is?" Getting a knod from me he continued. "Now this sealing scroll is you, and this kunai is the kyuubi, ok. Now when i seal this kunai in here, does the scroll turn into the kunai?" Shaking my head 'no' he continued," Exactly so why would your case be any different?" A look of understanding crossed my face followed by extreme anger. "So I get beaten up multiple times a year because people are fucking stupid and cant tell the difference between a kunai and the scroll its carried in? How are we all not dead yet? I mean surely Even an orphan if you explained it could comprehend it, how can fully fucking grown ADULTS not?"

"As much as i agree with you Naruto-kun, I believe its due to how it was sealed. Sealing comes from a branch of ninja studies called fuinjutsu, which is hard to understand to all but very few, i can count on my one hand how many people in the village know more than the basics of fuinjutsu" he said holding up 3 fingers. "I myself am one of them, followed by my student, Jiraya, followed by the person who makes all of our storage scrolls, who must remain anonymous do to safty reasons. Hell i suspect you would be good at seals in the future if you put your mind to it."

"Why is that jiji? Its not like ill be allowed to study anything until im in the academy, which if i follow the trend, i am sure id be sabotaged in constantly and forced to fail constantly.

That would be your mothers side Naruto-kun, and before i say any more, we must wait for kakashi as he would love to be priivy to this conversation" The hokage said. 'Due to my mothers side? I though the old man said he didnt know my parents, was he lying about that?

Suddenly Kakashi, Cat and Weasel appeared back in the room. "Ah welcome back you three, mission success?" A chorus of yes was heard, 2 infuriated and one higher pitched. "Weasel, what happened to your voice?" Weasel turned and glared at cat, "It was a mis directed kick, Hokage sama, nothing more, but i could use an ice pack," he grunted to the room of men flinching and one woman looking down ashamed. "Weasel take the rest of the day off, and mention nothing of what was seen or heard here today. if anyone asks, Tora the Daimyos cat attacked you while tree hopping and you missed your next step. you will be payed handsomely, and my potential condolences" he said looking towards weasels crotch. 

"Yes sir hokage sama, i will be here tomorrow for my shift. Good good Dismissed and if you see ibiki, anko, inoichi and my doctor have them wait outside with hawk. that is all. Yes Sir" and walked out of the room. A few hand seals later, the room was enveloped in blue and told everyone to sit.

"Now Naruto-kun what i am about to tell you, you cannot talk to anyone about outside of this room unless i give you permission and before you ask any questions, let me see if i can answer you a few first.

First of all, I must apologize for lying to you, as im sure by now you have figured out. My reasoning behind it was because i needed you to mellow out and not scream this accross the village, which you would have as you were so hyperactive all the time you couldnt even sit down. If word had gotten out, you would have had hundreds of assassins after you by the end of the day especially from kumo and iwa, as they hated your parents with a passion, seeing as they were the reasons that we won the war and they lost it. Your mother stood against the current Raikage, A, and his brother who like you holds a demon inside of him, killer bee, and beat the shit outta them. She beat them so badly they ran all the way back to kumo with their tails tucked between there legs. She was a Fuinjutsu and Kenjutsu master, As well as the previous holder of the kyuubi before you. She died on the night of your birth helping your father seal the kyuubi into you." A round of gasps was heard around them room. 

"So You're saying-Puma

"I fucking knew it-Cat

"So your finally telling him-Kakashi

"Quiet please, and This doesn't make it out of this room, or your heads will roll" The Hokage said. "Now your father like i said, is the one who sealed the kyuubi into you. He was a fuinjutsu Master like your mother, but he was also a ninjutsu expert and taijutsu expert. In the 3rd war, he used one move to slaughter 3000 enemy iwa nin in a matter of minutes. For that, Iwa is always on the lookout for blondes with blue eyes and slaughters them. It was actually quite bad for the yamanakas there for a while. They were getting killed quite often out in the field. That stopped after your father died though."

"Now as i tell you there names, here is a picture of them while you mother was pregnant with you. I will tell you this now, they were some of the finest shinobi id ever had the pleasure of knowing. Also Kakashi was one of your fathers students, he hadnt seen you with your red hair before, at birth it was blond like your fathers, and secondly, Puma and Cat were 2 of your mothers students, so if you want to hear stories about them, id ask any of them."

Recieving the picture, I looked at it. On the left was the most beautiful woman id ever seen. Long red hair, purple eyes and a bright happy smile. To the left, holding the woman, was an equally tall man, with blond hair, a bang onm each side, and a slightly muscular build wearing a flowing white cape with red flames.

"On the left is your mother, Kushina Uzumaki from Uzushiogakure, or the Village of the Whirling Tides. She was sent to us to become the Second host for the Kyuubi right before the second war started. Weeks after she arrived, her home had been destroyed by a combined for of 50000 shinobi from Iwa, Kiri, and Kumo. 50 thousand were sent against approxamately 2000 shinobi, and only 300 returned home, not a single one from kiri. We as allies, sent 20000 troops to help our allies, but we were too late. we caught and killed the last 300, but it was too late by then. only a few people survived or escaped, everyone else is dead. I am sorry Naruto-kun, but chances are you have no family left as any remaining members were hunted down and either captured or killed. If any survived, they are still hiding. I have a standing order, if ANY of my shinobi find an Uzumaki, they are to escort them here if they would like.

On the right is your father, like you, he was an Orphan. He studied in the academy, was quite gifted in the shinobi arts, and excelled in fuinjutsu. after the 3rd war, he was elected as our Fourth Hokage, where he lead the village for a few years until the night you were born, when the Kyuubi escaped its seal and went on a rampage. His name was Minato Namikaze.

The week you were born, I passed a law after numerous attempts on your life That no one was to speak of the kyuubi to any who werent already aware on fear of death, and look how it turned out. I hate to say it but i am honestly glad I didnt reveal your heritage aswell, or you would be dead. Do you have any questions Naruto-kun?"

"How did the kyuubi get free?"

"The seal is weekest when a female jinchuriiki is giving birth, thats a fact, but your father was there to ensure it didnt get free. I had also heard that your mother and the kyuubi talked alot and it had promised not to try and break free during birth. To a demon, its word is like a promise, so i fear outside interference, but i havn't the slightest clue who to look towards."

"The Uchiha. Look towards that clan with cursed eyes."

Naruto jumped, looking around. "Who said that?!"

"Who said what Naruto-Kun?"

"A deep voice answered me. Who was it?"

Stopping to think for a minute, the old man looked at me. "Kyuubi, if that was you, tell Naruto-kun something only I would know."

"Jiraya peeped on Minato and Kushina on there wedding night and almost died because of it. You had to send for Tsunade to get him healed back up and then both Tsunade and Minato beat him again."

"So you are awake Kyuubi-san. If you could, would you allow access to one of my nins into naruto-kuns mind so we can find out who all has mistreated him, and i would also ask of you to show him what happened that night. I also thank you for keeping naruto-kun alive through all hes been through, you have my deepest gratitude."

"Very Well ill allow it, but i have a request or two of my own. First allow the kit to bunk with the silver brat and train under him and Kushinas students, and 2 i need to talk to you so when the mind walker comes in, you come with them. You have my word no harm will befall you, and a demons word is its promise."

Kakashi spoke up quickly, "Consider the first part done, we decided to do it weather we had permission or not, the second part is up to hokage sama."

Giving kakashi and the two anbu a glare, he agreed.

"Cat let them in, they should be here by now." With a quick nod of the head, Cat opened the door and ushered in Ibiki, Anko, Inoichi and a nurse in her mid 50s.

"Thank you for coming in on such short notice. Ibiki, Anko, i have just sent you a few new TOYS, i want everything you have on young Naruto-kuns Abuse and abusers on my desk by tomorrow morning. Inoichi i need you to remain here after this. Nurse Joy, i need a full checkup of young Naruto and i need the full report asap. Use the Bedroom over there, time is of the necessity. Naruto, you can trust her. She is aware o your issues and knows of what we just dicussed, no need to be nervous."

With a quick nod, i followed Nurse Joy into the other room, hearing jiji continue talking to the others, giving out orders. The door closed behind me and i was ushered to a massage bed. "Ok Naruto-Kun i know this is gonna be akward for you but i need to do a overall checkup on you. For that i need you to strip to your briefs." With a blush I informed her i had no briefs, she frowned but informed me it was ok, it was an attempt to preserve my modesty. Nodding my head, I reached for my shirt but stopped. "Dont freak out, please. Its better than it looks" I said to the confused nurse. A confused look was all i got as i removed my shirt followed by a gasp of horror. "Naruto What happened" she asked/demanded. "Just wait it gets worse, but could i get a towel first please" i asked. With a quick movement, a towel was put into my hand as i quickly removed my shorts covering my lower half with said towel. I looked up hearing teeth grinding and saw eyes full of fury pouring out tears. "Those Evil Bastards. I hope im there when Hokage-sama catches them" Nurse Joy growled out. Taking a few minutes to get catch a breath, she turned to me and ran a diagnostic jutsu on me, while explaining what it was to me and what it did. She suddenly stopped mid sentence while speaking in terms i didnt understand. "Naruto, you ARE a boy, correct?" Looking at her, confused, i answered, "I think so, why? No one ever told me the difference but this old lady a few years ago told me it was better to be a boy so im a boy" i answered. "Naruto-kun give me just a moment please, i need to go get something from the hospital" and with that she was gone. About 10 minutes later she was back with a folder mumbling some things that didnt sound too good. "If thats the case this should be lower and that should be higher, what the hells going on?" Confused, i looked at her and tilted my head. "Whats wrong" i asked? Gathering herself "Naruto-kun this is going to be embarassing, but i need you to drop the towel. With a blush, i stood up and dropped it to the floor, hearing the nurse gasp. "What is it" i asked. "Quickly get dressed, I need the hokage in here now." Now dressed, Nurse Joy stuck her head out and requested jiji to come in, they then went into a corner of the room and i could see him get surprised and then start frowning.

Jiji approached me and laid a hand on my shoulder. "Naruto-kun, when did you wake up feeling different? when did you wake up and wonder when you lost a body part?"

"Oh you mean when my demon tail fell off? It was right before i was kicked out of the orphanage. The matron had this pale man with long black hair, yellow eyes and a freaky tongue do a checkup on me one night and the next morning my tail fell off. He said it would "Reduce the demons power" or something like that. I didnt know everyone peed from the tail hole though. Thats kinda gross." Jiji and the nurse both gasped. "Naruto do you remember the doctors name?" Thinking for a second i replied "He had a weird name. It was orochimaru i think. The matron said he was a sannin and that this would help kill the demon. I woke up the next day and it was gone."

Both the Hokage and Nurse Joy gasped while she had tears in her eyes. "Naruto kun

yes jiji?

Theres no easy way to tell you this, But Orochimaru was my student, until he turned traitor under your fathers rule, and he fled the village after it came to light he was doing numerous human experimants. It also seems he performed one on you. Theres no ther way to say it Naruto-kun, but youre no longer a boy, but your now a girl."

Shocked silence filled the room, then "WHATTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT"
