The three of them left the farm and the cottage behind. As they slowly made their way they passed Silas's old house, then started up the path to the temple. As they reached the temple, the sun crested over the mountains, casting streaks of light across the sky.

Etune asked to be put down in the center of the floor. Milo did so. She took a deep breath and raised her wings towards the sky.

"Welcome home," She said. "I've been waiting for you for so long."

On Monday I'll be starting a new story: Joe Schmoe, Accidental Apocalypse Hero. It's a Male-Lead Adventure Comedy about an anti-social NEET making his way in the post-apocalyptic world. I hope you'll check it out! In the meantime, deuces!
