A Source and Mystic Intent

Taking a step Meng Hao approach the Rune Wall and lift his hand to touch it, when his hand neared the wall, the wall parted forming a door, after some thought he step through the door after which the wall returned to normal.

In a secret dimension a sound of rolling waves could be heard, looking around one can see a thick milky white color Sea flowing.

Every direction one look at, one can only see a sea filled with milky white color liquid without the beginning and end in site.

The sea which has been flowing silently for an unknown number of years.

Had the silence broken on this day.

Above the sea a door suddenly form, after a while a person stepped out of the door after which the door disappeared.

This person is Meng Hao, when he stepped into the door at the Longevity Valley the door led him straight to this place.

Looking around and seeing the white Sea Meng Hao show a surprise look and said,

"How can this appear here? ".

The Milky white color sea is actually not a sea but what know as "Source".

When one want to establish a Sect, an Empire or a Dynasty they look for a place with abundant Spiritual Essences, such places are place that have a Spirit Vein or some call it Dragon Vein.

The Spirit Vein is divided into Five Grades; Mortal Grade, Earth Grade, Heaven Grade, Mysterious Grade and Saint Grade.

The level of a Spirit Vein determine the level of Spirit Essences in a place.

Above the Saint Grade Spirit Vein there is another Grade but only a few know about this and since the end of the last Era know as the Great Destruction Era such Grade of Spirit Vein has not been found, except in "That Place".

Meng Hao couldn't help but recall something his father told him about a place, but after some thought he decided to focus on the current situation.

The Grade of Spirit Vein above the Saint Grade will undergo a transformation into what is known as Source.

Any power with a Source will give birth to abundant talents which will give rise to having great experts, because they can cultivate faster by absorbing the Source.

There is no "Source" In the Nine Serenities World Realm, infact only a few will know about a Source, and for a Source to be in the Longevity Valley that means the Origin of Longevity Valley is not simple.

After all this Meng Hao Show a Slight smile and said,

"Since there is a Source here I guess I will make some breakthrough before leaving".

Saying this he began thinking again.

Meng Hao Cultivation level is at the Peak Of the Imperial Lord Realm that is a 10th Layer Imperial Lord and the next Realm is the Lesser Saint Realm.

When a Cultivator reach the Peak Of Dragon Ascension Realm and wants to break through into the Imperial Lord Realm the Cultivator need to comprehend at least a Low Tier Law.

Laws are Divided into Three Tiers: Low Tier like Fire Law, Water Law and some other Elemental Laws.

Higher Tier Laws like the Law of Light, the Law of Darkness, the Law of Space and the Law of Time, the High Tier only has this four Laws.

The last Tier is known as Source Laws.

A Cultivator at the peak of the Dragon Ascension Realm can only comprehend a Low Tier or High Tier Laws.

A complete Law Comprehension is 100%.

The Imperial Lord Realm is divided into 10 Layers with each layer being 10% Law Comprehension.

That is to say that 10% is 1st Layer, 20% is 2nd Layer, until 100% which is the 10th Layer.

Upon reaching 100% Comprehension in a particular Law one meet one of the requirements to breakthrough into the Lesser Saint Realm.

The second requirement to breakthrough into the Lesser Saint Realm is to form what is known as "Mystic Intent".

There is a saying in the Cultivation world that "To reach a great hight, one must determine their personal pursuit, i.e. Find out what it is that you seek".

It is not all Cultivators that can really determine this because some might say they want to live forever or to gain strength, some can be for revenge but it is usually hard to turn a determination into a Mystic Intent.

To low level cultivators this might not matter but if a Cultivator want to reach the Lesser Saint Realm then he or she has to determine why they Cultivate.

After setting such determination, a Cultivator will encounter some trials through their Cultivation journey that will test such determination, after some time the determination will transform into what is know as "Mystic Intent".

An example will be "Greed Mystic Intent" for those that are greedy and want everythingthing to belong them.

"Unyielding Mystic Intent" which is for those that will never give up no matter what challenge they may face.

there are many form of Mystic Intent, but there is an important thing to note, that is, after one form their Mystic Intent they can not go against it, if they go against their Mystic Intent it means going against their determination.

There are two consequences if a Cultivator go against their Mystic Intent; The first one which is lightest is becoming a cripple, i.e one will loss their Cultivation, and the second which is more heavy is Death.

Meng Hao had been at the peak of the Imperial Lord Realm for awhile and has not been able to breakthrough into the Lesser Saint Realm because he has not form his Mystic Intent yet.

Meng Hao case is a bit special, other Cultivator need experience and need to go through many trials before forming a Mystic Intent but because of Meng Hao high perception and comprehension ability, he can form a Mystic Intent at any time but the problem is what Mystic Intent he will form.

Although this might seem to be a simple problem, but remember that a Cultivator can or should never go against their Mystic Intent.

Meng Hao has been thinking about two Mystic Intent.

One is the "Sovereign Mystic Intent", forming this Intent will not only give Meng Hao more power but with increase in his Cultivation level it will also grant the ability of becoming a Sovereign that rule over all.

The second is the "Unfettered Mystic Intent", infact this Intent fit Meng Hao very well because of his leisure life style, with this Intent he become unrestricted or unchained by anything and he will need to keep it that way if he doesn't want to go against his Mystic Intent.

After a long period of thought he lifted his head and said,

"I do not have any desire of ruling the world or becoming a Sovereign over all, I just want to be unrestricted by anything".

With that Meng Hao decided to go with the

"Unfettered Mystic Intent".

He didn't immediately try to break through but brought out a black color gem.

This Gem have a distinguish Origin, it was given to him by his father because of his talent.

The gem contains a Cultivation Art that is different from the norm.

This Art is known as "Mystic Thought Art".

To Cultivate it one need to have a Powerful Soul, Great Perception and Great Comprehension ability and more importantly form their Mystic Intent.

Those that cultivate this art can become a God with a thought or a Devil with a thought or a Mortal with a thought, that is why it is called Mystic Thought Art.

Apart from the requirements above one will undergo a tribulation for cultivating it.

If the Cultivator successful overcome the tribulation he will become powerful but if he fails he will die both in body and spirit because the Heavenly Dao will not just allow such powerful entity to exist.

When his father gave him the gem he warned him to only cultivate it if he is confident in himself.

Since Meng Hao has already determine his Mystic Intent he decided to ahead and Cultivate the Art because in other to become Unfettered one need power to back it up.

To Cultivate the Art one need a special form of Essences, that is why Meng Hao has been demanding Origin Liquor as a compensation all this while, because he had discovered that Origin Liquor has many Special use.

But seeing the Source Meng Hao didn't need Origin Liquor to Cultivate the Art any more since a Source contains the Best form of Essences in the Universe.

"Little Nine I will go into Cultivation session now don't disturb and don't panic in case anything happens".

Meng Hao said to Lord Ninth, after which he sat cross legged flooting above the flowing Source.
