Heart of Darkness

"Seems like it's working well on the Rookie dungeons…that's pretty good!" Nial mumbled quietly as he continued to spread out his dark energy.

He devoured one monster after another and turned them into his energy.

However, that was not where Nial stopped. He was prepared to devour the entire dungeon or precisely the dungeon's core.

To make sure that a dungeon could manifest and that it would be sustained, Gods had to use bits of their energy that would be accumulated and preserved within a specific orb. The orb was the core of the dungeon that could preserve itself after it received the necessary energy from a being that was powerful enough to activate it.

Higher ranked dungeons were larger in size and the number of powerful monsters within them was on the higher side as well. Thus, it was only obvious that they required more energy to be sustained and empowered.
