Ilde Hyde Hilde

Hilde found herself where she had always seen in her dream. She looked around the empty familiar space before calling out for anyone.

"You have arrived" she suddenly heard a familiar voice making her to turn around it was the woman.

"What are you?" she asked looking at her, but the woman only smiled.

"I remember that is the question you have always been asking me" she replied.

"Right now you are under water" the woman paused before going on "and we are oceanides".

Hilde looked at her a bit confused. She had a lot of questions to ask but at the end what came out wasn't even among them.

"Does that mean you are some kind of water spirits?" Hilde asked.

"No, we aren't water spirits. We are called oceanides because we live in the water. You see we once lived among humans, but we were banished into the water"

"Why?" Hilde asked starting to get interested in the woman's story.

"The water dragon Yjulv was the one who created us he allowed us to live with humans on a condition that we won't cause harm with our powers. He told us that if we used it he would destroy all of us. We agreed but later some of us started using our powers to cause harm" she stopped to stare ahead as if remembering something from the past.

Yjulv was angry with us and decided to destroy all of us. We decided to fight against him but we were supressed by him the first time. So we chose people to lead us, they were the strongest among us were the Mel siblings, Hyde, Ilde and Hilde. The most ruthless of them was the Hyde. Ilde was more intelligent and Hilde was the strongest.

We fought with everything we had, during the war we lost Ilde and most of our people died and Hilde disappeared. After seeing all the losses we made the rest of us surrendered to the Yjulv who decided to spare us by confining us underwater" she finished with a sigh. Hilde was confused for a moment but decided to breathe it in.

'Didn't she say that they were three leaders what happened to the last one' Hilde thought.

"He ran away with his disciple, we are sure he is alive but he is keeping his identity hidden so no one can find him" the woman said,

"Okay" Hilde replied before she realized she only thought about it and didn't say it out did this woman just...

"Yes I read your thoughts" the woman replied her unasked question. Hilde was bewildered by all of this and decided to ask

"What does all of this have to do with me?"she asked the woman.

"You are the only one that can find our last leader Hilde, without her we will be trapped here forever" the woman replied.
