Protective Hel

Of all the things I wanted to do today, a mission wasn't it.

"Nica! Hurry up the guards are changing shifts," Nico, my twin brother, whisper yells at me, breaking me from my daze.

"Why are we even here again? And why couldn't Hel stay with me?" I respond with quiet questions from behind him as we carefully watch the guards.

"Because Elodie was worried that nothing would get down if she kept you two together and we're here to get weapons and information about who's running the attacks against us," Nico explains in a hushed voice as he shifts, myself shifting to follow his lead.
