CHAPTER XIII: STAY BY HIS SIDE
Dwayne opened his eyes and felt something on his waist. He looked at the arm laying on his waist and searched for the owner of it. He turned around and he saw Kaiden sleeping, he stared at him.
Kaiden moved and slowly open his eyes, "I know that i am handsome but don't stare at me too much i might melt" Kaiden wiggled his brows.
Dwayne felt shy and he blushes, he abruptly turned his back to kaiden but he groaned because he felt pain in his stomach.
"Are you fine? Don't move to much" Kaiden said worried.
"I am fine, thank you for letting me rest, I should continue my work now" Dwayne was about to stand up but kaiden didn't let him.
Kaiden hooked his arm around his waist and pull him back to the sofa bed.
"Let's stay here for awhile, I'm still feeling tired" Kaiden said and close his eyes again.
"Okay" Dwayne said and close his eyes and both of them back to sleep.
Time flies and Kaiden woke up, He looked at Dwayne who is still in the dreamland. He touch his face and his bruises.
"No one will going to hurt you again i promise you that, I will always stay by your side" kaiden said in Dwayne sleeping body.
Kaiden stood up and grabbed a guitar. He played it and sing.
"I never gone with the wind just let it flow let it take me where it wants to go, 'til you open the door, there so much more, I've never seen it before" Kaiden sung.
Dwayne wakes up because of the sound and he opened his eyes, "Did i wake you up?" Kaiden asked scratching the back of his neck.
"Nope, sing the song again I want to hear it." Dwayne plead and Kaiden nodded.
"Baby you showed me what living is for I don't wanna hide anymore" Kaiden continue.
When he finished the song Dwayne claps his hand. "That's great" Dwayne praises him.
"How old are you when you learn how to play guitar?" Dwayne asked.
"hmmmm.... 11 years old" Kaiden respond.
"Oww, what other instrument that you can play?" Dwayne asked.
"I can play, ukulele, piano or keyboard/melodion, flute and xylophone" Kaiden answered.
"Wow, you surely are that talented" Dwayne smiled and praised him.
"Nah. I learned it" Kaiden stated.
"Whatever you're still talented for me" Dwayne smile, he just give him a small smile.
"Let's go, we still have a work to do" Kaiden said.
He stretched his arm and open his palm. Dwayne placed his hand on top of his, and he pulled Dwayne up.
"Can you walk?" Kaiden asked.
"Yeah I can, they only punch my face and my stomach" Dwayne answered.
They both marched out to the room and went to the office.
"Thank you for putting an ointment to my bruises, Sir" Dwayne said.
"You're welcome" Kaiden replied. They both get back to their own works.
